From its first appearance in 1959 the Wilshire has been one of Epiphone's most successful original solid body electric guitar designs. The Wilshire P-90 brings back many of the features of the earliest Wilshire models including the symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with dual PRO P-90 Soapbar pickups, three on a side reduced sized Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone Bikini badge and ivory button Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines, and a butterfly tortoise shell pickguard with foil E logo. The Wilshire P-90 comes equipped with a glued-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, Indian laurel fretboard with 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, 2 volume and 2 tone controls and an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, and is available in classic Cherry and Ebony finishes.
The Crestwood first appeared in 1958 and in slightly modified form in 1959 as the Crestwood Custom; it was Epiphone's first original solid body electric guitar design. The new Epiphone Crestwood Custom returns to its roots with features that harken back to the early models including a symmetrical double cutaway mahogany body with two Epiphone PRO Mini Humbucker pickups, three on a side reduced sized Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone Bikini badge and ivory button Epiphone Deluxe tuning machines, and a clear butterfly pickguard with white center stripe and foil E logo. The Crestwood Custom comes equipped with a glued-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, Indian laurel fretboard with 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets and Epiphone oval inlays, 2 volume and 2 tone controls with CTS potentiometers and an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with Graph Tech TUSQ saddles and Tremtone vibrato tailpiece.
First introduced in 1959, the Epiphone Coronet was one of Epiphone's first and most successful original solid body electric guitar designs. The latest version brings back many of the features of the earliest Coronet models including the symmetrical double-cutaway mahogany body with single Epiphone PRO P-90 Dogear pickup, three on a side reduced sized Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone Bikini badge and ivory button tuning machines, and a white butterfly pickguard with foil E logo. The Epiphone Coronet comes equipped with a glued-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, Indian laurel fretboard with 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, 1 volume and 1 tone control with CTS potentiometers, and an Epiphone Lightning Bar compensated wraparound bridge.

I figured that these would be made pretty considering that this is a legacy guitar for the brand and not inspired by gibson. It actually makes this guitar more attractive to me.
I wish the crestwood came with p90s
I own the Crestwood and not only is fun as hell to play , it sounds amazing and looks even better.
Love mine as well. Did you buy the white or red?
@@MBArkestra red , not that it matters. We will own nothing and be happy
The Coronet just naturally has the sound of the libertines tones without even trying, i like it
I thought the same thing, too, then saw your comment!
The coronet and crestwood are both amazing.
Fantastic. Everything is great on those guitars from shape to sound.
P-90 pickups are very cool, just what you need for blues and rock!🎸🔥👍
Finally have the Coronet ( in Cherry) , Exceeded my expectations by far ! What an Amazing resonating ROCK MACHINE !
That crestwood has so much mojo!!!
I have the Crestwood, just like some people list after a 51 nocaster or a 59 Les Paul, this is my dream guitar. Some fret dressing was required.
Soulful playing!
Your sweet playing on the Coronet made me order one today.
I like that these guitars don't have the mahogany stiped veneer that some of the other Epiphones do. My preference is the Wilshire since it has two P90s and they are adjustable. The Coronet sounded best in this video but you could adjust the pickup height on the Wilshire's bridge pickup to make it sound the same.
Love Coronet.
They all seem to share the same basic body, which I find a very pleasing shape.
Amazing playing. Beautiful.
very well done and nice playing
oh wow, amazing playing!
Great playing..thanks
Crestwood is the best $550 guitar on this planet
Yeah, I totally agree. Even before I knew how much they cost I was amazed by how they rang LOUD unplugged. Like some of the finest juniors. - Sasha
I agree, and I would choose this over their inspired by Gibson SG which is the same price
True but the controls are hard to reach when playing and the trem throws it out of tune quickly.
I wanted the Wiltshire but I bought the Crestwood because I like the tone on the mini HB and the trem which seemed more P-90 like and the actual P-90 which where considerably warmer but I like the twang and grit I get with the mini HB.
All very cool, the Coronet sounds best with just that one pickup :)
my wilshire arrives next week, great to see models continued that are not too much of a gibson copy
i like this guy
Fantasic playing..... great guitar
Sweet guitar and playing
I dig the Coronet.
This playing makes me buy any guitar
Awsom
First song is a nod to the Johnny winter. Good work brother!
Max, damn nice guitar playing. which one do you think has the most acoustic sustain? And are they two piece bodies or veneer tops?
The Wilshire with those p90s... easily the Best sound of the 3..
Would love to compare them to my 1964 batwings
two rock and ox box certainly aren’t hurting the sound quality
That’s for sure but I have mine plugged into a Boss Katana and it’s not sounding that different believe it or not. The tone you get of the Cornet is flat out awesome.
The current Crestwood outside of the headstock is identical to the Wilshire they put out back in the early 2000’s except it had the way cooler Batwing headstock back then.
Crestwood demo @ 5:30
The Wilshire is the best!!!
Why Wilshire over Crestwood?
It reminds me of a double cut tele but cooler.
Its the coronet man such a cool rocknroll machine....im not sure why they stopped making them in the first place.....you know i like that epiphone are affordable guitars , but i wish they made an american line . Its just a shame the price of guitars has risen so high....anyway cool coronet
3.05 The perfect Pete Tonwshend sound. But my favorite is the Crestwood in Polar White : Marc Ford Holland France Black Crowes.
Deniz Tek of Radio Birdman.
Check it out.
@@voiceofexperience Think I saw them in the middle 80's but my mind plays tricks on me. Thank you anyway.
👌👌😉
I've been looking to get a p90's axe for a few years now. Think I've seen the one!
Get it, you won't be sorry!
Yes,you can
Does it have Neck dive?
These guitars are surprisingly balanced!
Sixties are back?
Sixties never went away...
Its a really good demo but ALL the HF is missing off the speech.
The Wilshire is a tone monster but it has the most inaccessible tone controls I have ever played. It was a deal breaker for me when I tried one out. The trem system couldn't be more in the way
I hate that one the new red guitars the wood grain isn't throughout
The wood grain shows through on the Cornet.
Ephiathep
I'm sure they are fine instruments but I do not find the design appealing.
