I really appreciate the comparative comments on rates. As a new pilot trying to find my own rates, it's helpful to get different perspectives. To take it a step further, please add the specifics (RC, Super Rate, Expo) for each pilot in the description to help people like me to correlate the different styles with their curves. Thanks! 👍

That was wild hearing everyone's reactions to other setups and how they were totally tripping out. There were a few spicy moments where a minor flip of a stick could have ended badly. But definitely a learning experience for them. Skitzo's reaction to Stingy's setup was just too funny.

I’m amazed. Corey’s quad is perfect tuned, Kevin who has usually vibrations in footage can pull of a mattyflip first try and the exit after it like a boss and smooth as hell, and more important: Skitozo’s quad is full of propwash when Joshua flies it! My world is upside down right here!

It think I’m more blown away by the variety of cam angles ppl are using than their rates. Had no idea Cricket flies at 0 and Skitzo at 10-12 degrees.
ChristianProgrammer Steele mentioned he only flies around 10 degrees when he’s indoors or places with an extreme amount of obstacles in a tight space (bando etc). He normally flies 25 deg for everything else.

Hey guys, Here’s an idea, or offering, from a viewer. In the recent video “Retro Kwads” you guys were flying through the beams @ 16:07. It would be cool if you would edit complicated flights like that and do dual pnp shots on the video. One pip in the lower corner showing stick Input and another pip in the opposite corner diagonally. The other pnp video could be the quad itself shot on a stationary tripod so we can see the flight (line of sight) in real time, same as the sticks you know. . The main footage could be the FPV. We’d be able to watch it and scan the corners peripherally. It’d give you a sense of everything involved in regards to avoiding crashes in tight spots like that. From all perspectives. Anyway, that’s just what I was thinking might help me out 😆. Awesome flying as usual!! Bet someone’s already done this lol

I have 5 different 5” quads and all have different rates, tilts and are very different to each other. It’s fun to have those totally different feels. I will say though,... I have a CL1 running sim mode w predictive filtering on Skitzo rates.... 👌

Good vid. I have a new Chameleon Ti waiting for me at home to get in the air. Trouble is, I'm away with work all week, so Friday and the weekend just can't come quick enough. It is true what you say though - Even going from Oblivion ( now sold ) to Japalura 4 takes a pack to get the difference in feel dialled in. Enjoyed this one.
Glad you got skitzo on, and wow did i feel the nervousness, letting someone fly your quad is a scary thing. If i wasn't broke id try that but i only have one set of arms for my Kraken 5R.

My larva x came in and it came with 30-40 degree uptilt and I could not slow it down for squat and landing in the back yard took running circles and lowering the throttle, I put it to like 10 degrees and it is much more manageable. The larva x flys locked and the larva hd is very floaty in the turns it might be the 3 bladed props on the larva x and the 2 bladed props on the larva hd.

I just dropped my rates from 1100 to 660 the other week and threw in some expo. Smoothed out the twitchyness. Now just concentrating on learning better tricks.
