      @@xiamfinal571 Nah, looking at the split times for each 10 meter section he went all out for 90 meters. If he had slowed down at 70 his 70-80 and 80-90 meter splits would be slower than his 60-70, but they aren't.

      @@lilanjiang1651 ok wow... I get that yes people get money for most of the sports that they do, but is that all of it playing a sport??? Training day after day, night after night just for money and fame?? If they love what they are doing then they will do it, not caring too much about money... They will go through rough and tiring training so they could get better at what they love... Going into the olympics or any sport that is all over the world that can be seen by everyone, if they make one mistake some people out there will take it negatively and just judge them... Will those athletes go through that just for fame?... Sorry for the rant

      Alexandra Camacho I agree people start a sport for fun and because they enjoy it. I swim and run for my high school swim/track team as a JV player not because I do it for money and fame but for the feelings of pride and accomplishment. However, competing at THAT level, training 7 days a week definitely has more motivation than pride alone.

    The way that Nadia grabbed the bars made it look flawless like she was going to miss but didn’t amazing. I remember seeing thorpie winning gold in Sydney first night and later that night the Aussies broke the drought by beating the Americans in the relay 🎸🎸🎸

    Do you know that Venus is a greater Olympian (5 medals) than Serena (4 medals)? And Venus is actually the most decorated Olympian in Olympic tennis history. Why pick Serena as an Olympic legend instead of Venus?

      @@mathematics5573 it was in the Olympics in the 1920, however it was reinstated in 1984 in the Olympic as a demonstration sport, and official sport in 1988 in Seoul Korea.

      @@mathematics5573 You are entitled to your opinion, however Borg, and McEnroe couldn't play in the Olympic because it wasn't played in the Olympics when they where on top. However Agassi winning the Olympic gold in Atlanta in 1996 started his comeback, and Serena and Venus Williams think a great deal of their Olympics medals. How Novak cried after Losing to Delpo in the Olympic in 2016 in Brazil, says how much it meant to him. So you can think it's not important, but it how the players feel about it, not you?

      @@mathematics5573 It not all about ranking who is the GOAT, your entire resume defines your career, Olympic, Slams, Masters 1000, etc. your entire resume says how great you are. If winning a gold medal in tennis is the pinnacle of your career, no one can take that away from the athlete.

    Kind of unfair to call Lebron james an "Olympic" legend when there are so many more athletes who went unmentioned here. Let's be honest, he's an NBA superstar in an extremely stacked country where losing is virtually impossible. It's so stacked that even without Lebron James in every single Olympics he won, USA would've still got the gold. He's an NBA legend, NOT an Olympic legend.
