"He's in the fence!", "They're both in the fence!", "They're all in the fence!". A story told in 3 sentences and in 3 seconds. XD
Rain and slicks, always an interesting combination. Some drivers can come out the other side looking absolute heroes, others, well, not so much...
Rain + slicks + karts = Fun!! Spun from 1st to 4th. 2nd and 3rd spun then the leader did it on last turn of last lap!! 🏁🏁 Being from Canada we have also been hit with snow! Stuck to visor but not the track! Fingers just a bit on the frozen side!!
He's in the wall!
They're both in the wall!
*They're all in the wall!!*
that's 100% gold commentating.
@@mitcho_913 I think they where trying to outdo each other
Fence** 🤷🏼♂️
Said by 3 different pepole
Unbelievable top 3 in the fence
"They cannot see out there. There is no light. No grip".
Me: you have a windscreen wiper not turned on.....
Exactly 😂😂
He's hit the fence!
They've both hit the fence!
They're all in the fence!
Hahahaha 😂
Scott Pye's race was absolutely incredible. I met him at Winton a few rounds later and told him I thought his race was amazing. He was very appreciative!
John Baker I was cheering for him, surprised Whincup didn’t take him out
The absolute best time to watch v8 Supercars is when the rain starts to fall and it becomes chaos I can remember watching all of these moments on my couch thinking this is gonna end well 😂 but once again awesome vid brother
Mixed feelings hearing Barry Sheen.. R.I.P 😟
Felt the same way - hero of mine when i was a kid in U.K.
I love when it starts raining during a race because then you see who is a REALLY good driver.
Or who has really good tires!
thanks again for the quality video with NO annoying music over all the video
Favorite time to watch Supercars is when they have to battle the rain
Dude Man Well, if you want more action in Supercars, just add water.
Good video, lots of great memories. Just missing the infamous 1992 (?) rain @ Bathurst, where winner Jim Richards (driving a Skyline GT-R) called the boo-boys, "a pack of arseholes" as he & Skaife stood on the podium after the race. If you know, you know...
Awesome video. All these memories over the years!
Really good video thank you for your time sending it
Always great when the rain comes, makes it a lot more fun 😂😂 great vid man keep em coming 👍
When the rain arrives, supercars face a different set of challenges. These high-performance vehicles, built for speed and precision, are not typically designed to tackle wet weather conditions. However, manufacturers have made significant advancements over the years to ensure that supercars can handle rain showers without compromising their performance or safety.
One of the main concerns when it comes to driving supercars in the rain is the loss of traction. The powerful engines and wide tires that enable these cars to go from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds can become a liability on wet roads. The increase in water on the surface reduces tire grip, making it easier for the car to lose control, especially during acceleration and braking.
To counteract this, supercars are equipped with advanced traction control systems. These systems constantly monitor the speed of each wheel and adjust the power delivery accordingly to ensure optimal grip. Additionally, some supercars come with specialized rain modes that adjust the car's settings, including throttle response and suspension, to provide better control in wet conditions.
Another challenge that supercars face in the rain is the increased risk of hydroplaning. Hydroplaning occurs when the tires lose contact with the road surface and glide on a layer of water. This can be particularly dangerous at high speeds as it can lead to a loss of control.
To mitigate the risk of hydroplaning, supercars often have specially designed tires with deeper tread patterns and wider grooves. These features help to disperse water more effectively and maintain better contact with the road. Additionally, aerodynamic enhancements on supercars, such as rear spoilers, can also help to keep the car stable by increasing downforce.
In terms of handling, supercars tend to have rear-wheel drive, which can be more challenging to control in wet conditions compared to all-wheel drive. However, advancements in electronic stability control systems have significantly improved the handling of rear-wheel-drive supercars in the rain. These systems continuously monitor the car's stability and make adjustments to individual wheel braking and engine power to keep the car on track.
Ultimately, while supercars may not be designed specifically for wet weather conditions, they have been engineered to handle a wide range of road conditions, including rain. With advanced traction control systems, specialized tires, and electronic stability control, supercar owners can enjoy their high-performance machines even when the rain arrives, albeit with some adjustments to their driving style and caution on the road.
When the rain comes, it REALLY comes down and causes chaos
0:43 WOW THATS AWSOME
Great upload matey 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻
Of course _that_ crash from Sydney makes it.
Look at the entire circuit it’s absolutely soaked with rain and it’s gone dark
Great work
Fuck I love the little ending song on these videos
Aussie racing rules where there are no rules lol
R.I.P barry sheene
2:37 when you rip the e-brake when in the grass on Forza Motorsport 7
This channel has seriously awesome compilations. And deserves more subs and views. Keep up the good work bro
That intro is clean
SUBSCRIBED.Aussie car racing😍Ford v Holdern......couple cases of VB ! Beauty Mate!!
I remember a 500cc race years ago commentated by Barry Sheene and Darrell Eastlake. Barry was annoyed at the slow back markers on the grid, describing a heavy set rider looking like a condom full of peanuts. I could hear Darrell cracking up even with his mike turned off.
5:42 Great editing.
my left ear loved this video
2:49
Crew chief: "Bring the tires up to speed mate, they'll be greasy as fuck for a while..." *cuts*
Commentator: "Bring the tires up to speed, they'll be greasy for a while."
Whincup, I always ear "Wanker".
Great video mate
That Sandown hailstorm clip lol, amazing stuff. Have there been any other races in those conditions?
Imagine the Bathurst 1000 in those conditions.
dwal3, I've never really associated Australia with hail-strewn racing.... In UK, anything can happen with the weather (and often does!), but we imagine Australia as predictable sunshine...!
Mikethecabbie It usually is sunny over there. But when winter comes, yeah not so much.
In 2015 or 2016 at the adac 24hr nurburgring there was a huge hailstorm, race was red flagged after loads of cars went off!
Scott Matheson Is there video of it somewhere?
They'd have to red flag the race, then continue on until 161 laps are complete, no matter how long that'd take. I imagine they would never end a Bathurst 1000 race under timed finish.
1:05 YO I RECONGNIZE THAT VOICE, HE DOES INDYCAR NOW. OH WAIT, it’s Leigh Diffey that said that “he’s hoping for pace car”
These aren't supercars
*THESE ARE RACECARS*
The name of the series is Supercars you troglodyte
I'm beginning to like these "Supercars"!
Pitstop Chaos moments please😘
Damn, didn't know they had RAIN in Australia
Wtf are you serious? 😂
Usualy comes in heavy. Will be dry for months then finally come in like a hurricane (cyclone) and flood the place
Yes even the weather here is trying to kill us
Do the full races exist for any of these in this video?
pye slick tyre in the wet win is by far amazing
Skywarp Greer not a big fan of him but I have to agree
Hare after the NASCAR rain mess at COTA to see how a series actually races in the rain
2003 Phillip Island should've been part of this.
"They're going to be greasy as fuck"
Commentators wisely ignore that
Footie and Super Cars. Aussie Bliss.
You should do a vid with that outro Ford Falcon
when was the race in albert park? 1st one
3:54 😂
I swear the majority of these are at clipsal in adelaide or Bathurst
It reminds me the 2001 World GT Championship in Estoril (Portugal) : the circuit is right by the sea, and on quite a few laps it was raining on _half_ of the track, the half closest to the sea : very difficult for the engineers and pilots to chose what tires they should run with.
the ghostly voice of barry sheehan..
It's Barry Sheen...
OMG 😳
8:00 adelaide's f1 races were also held in shit weather conditions (1989, 1991)
where is that place where it went from hail to snow?
"Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
As you fall all around
Drip, drip, drop
Little April shower
What can compare
To your beautiful sound
Drip, drip, drop
When the sky is cloudy
Your pretty music
Can brighten the day
Drip, drip, drop
When the sun says howdy
You say goodbye right away
Drip, drip drop
Little April shower
Beating a tune
Ev'rywhere that you fall
Drip, drip drop
Little April shower
I'm getting wet
And I don't care at all
Drip, drop, drip, drop
I'll never be afraid
Of a good little
Gay little
April serenade
"
4:02 He must be a plumber.
Song name please in the end
in F1, they just stop the race.. lol
this is racing
1:06 I nearly spit out my drink, I thought that car had a "cumming" sponsor on it lmao
Not very sure how that's funny....

Song name please? Cant find the user on soundcloud.
Which one was the worst one for you?
In terms of excitement, Albert Park this year but in terms of downpour probably the Sandown Hailstorm of 2003 would have to be the worst
Motorsport Moments I think Sydney 2010
Who is the commentator calling at the 2:00 mark? And does he still call?
Intro Song on Soundcloud not available anymore, does anybody know the full title or have a link? :(
The into is stolen from "mitchos da menace - silence"
R.I.P V8 Supercars!
1:23 who have "ooohh nooo" voice?
8:25 notice the red supercheap auto banners are overlaid digitally on the grass. They're not even there in real life.
Yes.
Half the signage you see at Bathurst on TV these days isn't real
big cars big crashes and big money gone to waste
Why aren't the drivers on full wets? Have they never heard of them in Australia?
Really miss Barry Sheene Commentary....
😊
8:26 that video glitch!
10:06 what this doesn’t show is Mostert ended up right next to Dave afterwards
F1 when rain comes
Safety car safety car
now watch your speed or you could risk a penalty
what about the 92 Bathurst, that was insane
Tried to keep in in the V8 Supercars era 1997 onwards
ah yes of course, fair enough
If you want action just add water.
No ball's red flagging the race because of rain
Wet or dry run the rack on slicks
Gold Coast 600...
Credit where credit is due...NASCAR brings everyone inside when it rains so they don't melt or was that wizard of oz with the witch. Oh I am so confused and need to inject some more marijuanas.
I just come here for the 3:30 and 5:40 Aussie Commentary
Wow is that normal for fans to run out and congratulate the driver in Australia?
This shit is 100x entertaining then nascar
What’s happened to the Ford/Holden rivalry, now there isn’t really a Holden?
SvenTviking isn’t really a Ford now either
@@denysmith9469 yes there is, the Ford Mustang 😄🤦🏻♂️
Nice memory lane content.
That intro music is from "mitchos da menace - silence"
Please credit the artist. Your soundcloud link goes to a deleted page. Probably because of copyright infringement.
Race's shouldn't be declared because it's raining. Driver's should just use there brains if you can't see slow down it's that simple.
Why’s the audio low pitched?
Yeah sorry about that some of the older clips are like that for some reason
Why your car cannot drifting in rain
Where’s Rick Kelly punting everyone off the track in this video..they must have all been deleted
Fuck I still miss Barry :(
Aussies can’t even work in the rain let alone drive in it
Oof *booty* wack AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE
cummins...
yo what
2:50 Greasy as fuck
kysyn vain onko ihan pakko ajaa nuon järjettömäs kaatosatees vaikka kotteroos onki kääntyvät etupyärät
The 2018 crash in tassie didn’t make it
You mean 2017
Ohhh so this is where all the NASCAR sponsors went! lol valvoline, Jim beam, jack Daniels, Pepsi, Caterpillar, etc: Guess Lowe’s and FedeX are next
Valvoline and Pepsi are still active in NASCAR sponsorship in some way, being the official lubricant of Hendrick Motorsports (and there's very likely gonna be another throwback scheme on the #88 at Darlington this year), and Pepsi is still involved, though through their Mountain Dew brand.
Lowe's doesn't even exist in Australia, and the joint venture store they operated there, Masters Home Improvement, went out of business in 2016.
Would be interesting to see FedEx show up on one of the Nismo Altimas, though.
What a bunch of absolute beginners including the whole team 🤣
