One incident I have never seen a replay of since it happened was when Jason Richards crashed into the back of Mark Skaife at pit entry at Hidden Valley in 2008. Was a pretty big shunt if I remember correctly, Richards went to the garage, and Skaife had a badly bent rear end but it was repaired somewhat and he continued.
I'm going to miss seeing Lowndesy coming into the pits sideways. I don't think any of the current and coming drivers are that much of a showman. I suspect a lot of them don't have that much car control either...
@@walover165 I don't know, there are a few of the current crop who definitely show flashes of genius, and a couple of the up-and-comers who have certainly had moments that owe more to skill than luck. The problem is that driver's careers just don't seem to be as long as Lowndes' has been so the chances of any of them racking up the score Craig has done looks pretty small. I still think Lowndesy can beat Peter Perfect's record of Bathurst wins...

I always laugh when the commentators get shocked that Lowndsey saved something or drove well...if you all don't recognise by now that Lowndsey is the greatest driver of this generation then what are you doing!
And these are supposedly among the best drivers in the world? Could we perchance loan you Roberto Montoya or Danica Patrick to improve the skill level???
They do. Engine in the front (but sitting way back in the engine bay, almost in the cockpit), long output shaft going to a transaxle in the rear. All in the name of weight balance.

Supercars commentators always get ultra wet over cars going "full sideways". Pfft barely a slide and they go mental. We need new commentators badly.
