Tried - I used cream cheese instead of sour cream. After thirty minutes the potatoes nor the chicken were done, so I put in for another thirty minutes. Loved the idea of a quick potato gratin, didn't like the tomatoes on top, but loved the onion on the bottom.
@@colleenlongardner2692 it's sour cream in the recipe, so I think it was in fact sour cream, despite her saying cream cheese. I personally prefer sour cream with chicken and potatoes
Hi, I’m from Bonnie Scotland so also need you to differentiate between cream cheese and sour please as we have each to choose from and they are entirely different from each other, I would be well put out if I wasted money not getting it right and wasting it, that’s the miserable Scot in me. I’ve loved so many other recipes from you successfully. Thanks.
Where do you find Cream cheese? That is that thin and runny? Cream cheese here in the United States is very thick. So I think maybe perhaps sour cream?
Ps....you always say you want to know where people are watching from so you can send them a hug.....it'd be nicer if you'd just respond to the questions asked of you! Btw....i never see you send a hug to anyone, even when they say something good!
I’m in beckley WV, This looks so easy, nothing fancy, just the basics! I love it! Can’t wait to try it! Don’t like the term, but I see you have some “Debbie downers” on here just ignore ignorance! Some ppl just can’t stand for others to be happy I guess! You did a great job! Thank you for sharing! Btw since we are all online it’s easy to find conversion charts!
There’s a huge difference between cream cheese and sour cream. Can you please clarify what you’re using in your recipes. I’ve noticed you mentioned cream cheese in the videos but in the written recipes it says sour cream. I see many others have also commented on this as well.
I've wondered the same thing. It would be nice if they would respond. If not, there is no use in watching any more videos as I wouldn't be able to make them. I admit, they sound wonderful so I really do hope she responds. 🙂
I looked at a recipe she did on another site. She was mixing sour cream with jello, but called it cream cheese. I'm willing to bet that's what she did here and that it's sour cream she added in this recipe, not cream cheese.
This isn't the only video she's called sour cream cream cheese. I commented on a fruit dessert recipe that did the same. In the video it stated cream cheese and the subtitles that cream cheese, but it looks like sour cream when poured. But in the written recipe in the notes, it says sour cream. I wish she would explain this.
When you say cream cheese? What do you mean? Do you use heavy cream, or sour cream, or Philadelphia cream cheese? Seems to be to runny for Philadelphia cream cheese Sounds good but I want to be sure which you use
This is not my video but to try to answer about cream cheese and sour cream the SC is not as sweet as CC like I have a recipe for fruit salad and you can use SC or CC in either using SC cute the sugar so I would think I would use the SC

I believe cream cheese is used in the video. Perhaps it was sour cream as I've never seen creme cheese so runny unless it perhaps it was microwaved.

I love your recipes. However, you keep calling sour cream cream cheese. I’ve noticed it in other videos 😊
You sure it wasn’t cream cheese? I use cream cheese in some sauces and it goes like this when it’s warmed up a bit.
No she doesn’t, it is a misunderstanding part on your behalf !!!!
I was wondering the same
Yes cream cheese in the video and sour cream in the recipe...kindly clear this
Why doesn't she say to melt the cream cheese, if it is in fact cream cheese?
