are they actually stuck together? the efx crash holes appear totally lined up even after being hit - could be a coincidence but quite curious myself as to how they are stuck if they are?
he is using a certain type of "Trick cymbals" or practice cymbals. I have had roadies and stuff explain it to me before. They are used for warming up backstage as well as recording music videos so that people can still hear.
Also if you wanted to know his warmups here is his crash course “THE WARM UP” Series I learned some god shit from this. There are more episodes as well m.ruclips.net/video/XSzhMChEPFo/видео.html m.ruclips.net/video/i9zUI668FCM/видео.html
awesome house, the electric drum too, there's everything
I don't think it's electric.. maybe sort of a 'muted' head
@Jimmy yeah, leaving no air for the sound to travel through
@@hoks9973 It was a higher end Yamaha DTX. I assume the brain was attached.
its two of the same cymbal :) stacked on eachother so it is a quick decay

When you are a zildjian artist you can ask for the same efx splash with holes to stack it only for practice
its the camera
He's pretty good at drums, huh?
Even the china?
I can't see anything obvious, how dose he muffle his drums and cymbals like that?
the drums are filled with some sort of filler and the cymbals are double stacked and glued together
It's not the drumset. The camera their using has a condenser mic on it.
shit.. I wanted to know how to do that to my drumkit so I could play in my house
Totally wrong. I know for a fact that Travis has a practice kit for backstage.
What difference to anything would that have made please?
My chops are WAAAAAYYYYYYYY better. MOST DEFINITELY KIDDING
he's steaming while practicing. May god help that drum kit he plays on stage come back in one piece.

It's actually two of the exact same cymbals stacked on top of each other to cut the sound short IIRC
All he is doing is putting two of the same cymbals on top of each other. It creates a muting effect.
This was before all the Poser emo kids were into MCR like they are now in 2020 lol..
I think he s working of herata
tbt to when MCR were together
Ten brudnopis Travis ma być jednym z lepszych perkusistów?🙄🤔🤭😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣
what kind of drum set is that... sound muted how is that done.
@@sandyv123 not in 2011
