Absolutely agree, and with the launch of the Rolex titanium Yatchmaster almost 10 years later this still was the seed of the original innovation in true Tudor spirit. Thanks for watching.
Im gonna pick mine up tomorrow, the 2017 ETA and it is my first watch ever im gonna buy. Thank you for the great revieuw and helping me make up my mind to pick this one up
Its important to point out that its a top grade ETA movement that Tudor has done even more regulations and modifications to. I love my BB smiley, and this Pelagos is on the list.
That you for watching. The days I wear it I still fall in love looking at it. It is to me the finest expression of what Tudor does best. Such a shame cause I think they have so much more to offer than become a black bay brand.
I have the same watch. I love it. Such a clean and neat look. I wear mine with the rubber strap , just so I can preserve the bracelet. And it’s better for the summer. Nice review.
Thank you so much I am glad you like the review and it’s nice to see you have had very similar experience with your Tudor. Truly a gem among the watches in Tudor’s lineup.
Timothy Thomas the titanium bracelet of the Pelagos is definitely very comfortable especially with the self adjusting tension spring. Glad you like it too.
Love this watch, I am left handed , so I am considering the LHD version. However I see many examples of the lume markers falling out of the bezel. How has your experience been in regards to this ? And is the bezel action holding up after all this time ? Thanks in advance ☺️
Great review, and good decision to go for the original two-liner! I have the very same watch and just uploaded a video on my channel with it featuring prominently (a comprehensive review is coming soon) :)
I Just bought the 5 Liner Pelagos 2 weeks ago. Absolutely love it, cant take it off my wrist. I have a Breitling Superocean Heritage and although its more fancy with the polishing, something about the Pelagos makes me wear it everyday. Only question I have is has anyone switched to the rubber strap over the titanium bracelet? Love the bracelet but curious to see/hear what other owners think of the rubber strap
Firstly congratulations on your new watch and I should say the blue one is a gorgeous color. Yes I do wear mine on the rubber strap and I absolutely love it particularly in the winter when the bracelet is just a bit too cold. The watch feels even more lighter once you do that. Enjoy !!!
@@JasonCohenphoto I love the Pelagos personally more over the traditional black bay. But I recently got the black bay silver and love how that wears. Try out the Pelagos and see how it feels for you.
@@themainspringer The silver certainly looks interesting as well. Honestly they are all pretty fantastic options, and great to see someone else who is quite a Tudor enthusiast as well! I would love to see a longer video on one of your vintage oyster prince pieces. It's certainly one on my radar for the future
@@greensocks4507 hearty congratulations on your piece and a worthy choice. Truly an original and one of the greatest watches in Tudors line up. Cheers 🥂
Even w/ all the new variance since this video was made the OG 2 line is still my favorite.

Congratulations and I hope you love it. Thanks for watching and your support.
It’s always interesting to see the OG Pelagos, because I now own the Pelagos 39. Love the blue variant
I like the OG. It was built with a very pure intent. Did not even say Pelagos. The 39 is a lovely evolution of the original watch.

Agreed, the black bay smiley is a classic !!!
Just got the Smiley. This is next on my list!
I also have the two liner pelagos ETA, it speaks so much to the history of Tudor and at the same time the future, a classic collectible
Absolutely, you captured that beautifully. Thank you for watching.
Superb review ive just acquired a new old stock version dated 2017.they are a lovely watch

Own it in Blue love it. Thinking of putting it on the rubber strap. But then since winter is coming I may wait for spring.
Great choice and that is a gorgeous vibrant blue unlike other watches :)
This pelagos and the Tudor black bay black eta will be highly sought after in the near future.
Agreed and I must add that the Tudor black bay black is the rarest of the eta version and saw only a 6 month production before it was replaced.
I have the Pelagos with the blue face. Love the watch and for me the best tool watch for the money .
Absolutely agreed and the blue Pelagos has a blue dial and color like none other. Great choice !!!
Hope whatever health issue has you breathing like has been situated and you’re in good shape.
😂
Been a while since last post? I love the Peligos and it Riveted Braclet

I have not had any such experience. The watch has been a tank and serves as my daily beater. It’s a great choice and I think you will love it.

Have it in black. Love it. Never sell it.
It is a great watch and the I house movement is fantastic. Enjoy this gorgeous piece :)
Curious of your wrist size just for reference? Thanks for the long-term review
My wrist size is 9.25inches. Thank you for your support 🙏
@@themainspringer Thanks for the info. Heavily considering trading out a black bay 58 for a two liner Pelagos...

How big is your wrist btw?
My wrist is 6.75 inches
@@themainspringer Do you think this would wear too large for a 6.0 inch - 6.25 inch wrist?
@@supunfernando3171 honestly I think yes it might be big. I might look at the Tudor black bay 58 instead :)

Bought a Pelagos new about 2 weeks ago, in blue. Lovely watch, nice bracelet, quality all round. My first top shelf time-piece.
