This video deserves 10 million views. Legit one of the highest quality retrospectives i have seen in my over decade long RUclips endeavours. Infamous is in my Top 3 gaming IPs of all time, and this game has a special place in my heart similar to yours. Blew my fucking MIND as a kid seeing this on a PS3 back in the days, man. Like, i was so envious of not being able to play this on my own PS3 but whenever i did play it with my friends on their PS3 i was grinding it out and having so much fun thinking to myself that it's probably for the better that i couldn't play it on my own because i'd be hooked on it like it was videogame crack-cocaine lmao I really, really look forward to your retrospective on Infamous 2 which i know you'll do justice on making that video even more polished than this one whilst being just as passionate and intricate about each detail of the game and plot. You should be proud of this video. I am on your behalf. I'm shocked that this video is as underrated as it is currently, but in a way it is fitting considering how much of an underrated gem the Infamous IP is within the gaming industry. I can't thank you enough for your kind words.. Views are nice, but I created this video for the people like me who wanted to see a retrospective on inFAMOUS, but couldn't find a whole lot on RUclips. Seeing someone else who is just as passionate about this game makes me incredibly happy. inFAMOUS will always have a special place in my heart. Growing up as the ONLY kid who liked inFAMOUS within a 200 mile radius (it seemed like), it puts a smile on my face knowing there are people out there, like you, that love the game as much as I do. I have big plans for the inFAMOUS 2 video! I'm so excited to work on it. It will take time, but it will get done. I can't guarantee it will be better than this retrospective, but I will try my damn hardest to do justice to the game and make the video as incredible as my experience with it. I was soo sooo obsessed with this game. I was struggling to do the mission in which the trash baggers turned the bus into a freaking tank. In my literal dreams a vision came to me that I have to hop on the top of the bus and charge the battery! I didn't even know there was a battery on the top of the bus!
It makes me happy that people still love this game, it was a huge part of my early teenage years. It definitely shows it's age but the story in the first two games is peak imo. I'm looking forward to a video on the second game if/when you make one!

My obsession with Infamous began when I discovered there was a ps3 you could play at gamestop and Best Buy. Infamous was the game that was available at the time, and it completely captured my mind. I lived an hour away from the nearest gamestop, so whenever we were in the area,I took the chance to play the game. After a few weeks or months, they rotated out the playable demos, and that was the last time I played the game for nearly a decade. I was still obsessed and chose Infamous wallpapers and watched playthroughs on youtube. It wasn't until i bought a ps4 in 2018 that i was actually able to play series for the first time. I was elated. I still play all the games every year or two.
This game was also the first ps3 game I ever played and why wanted one, I have so many childhood memories from Infamous it’s so underrated now and deserves a remaster/remake

You may be aware of this now but there's actually a set of comics that bridges the gap between infamous 1 & 2 and it addresses the Moya, Alden and Zeke plot threads quite nicely and the introduction to Kuo There's a nice YT video by @Zivalene called the 10th anniversary comic

Infamous 1, the arkham series are the best superhero games nothing has been able to scratch that itch for me. Spiderman came close but it missed with spiderman 2.
I like the vibe in this game, this Gta4 the Warriors all have that gritty aesthetic I rarely see in games & done properly too, I only wish the districts had different themes to em, neon with people spewing & having seizures on the streets, Warren full of riots & fires u can see from other islands & the first sons going full on Nanking in the historic

But it's all about perspective and time. you can be hated by the public they hate you and deemed you for being infamous you'll see how Cole started out as Infamous and he has to work his way up to the top or you can be infamous to your enemies when they see you and know you're nothing more than trouble.
23:50 bruh my infamous always stopped at Kessler looking at his wedding pic scene. I never got to finish the game tho I reached the final mission and defeated Kessler like 50 times 😢😢
Sucker Punch Productions and/or Sony should ask Bluepoint Games to make a game collection of Infamous 1 and 2, maybe even include the Infamous 2 DLC and Second Son. I don't under why more companies aren't asking Bluepoint Games to do this, as that company is great at making game collection disc as well as remastering games for modern consoles.

Ive re-played the game after several years and I totally forgot how to defeat the balloons.
