When i first bought my 144hz monitor i probably got carried by how motivated i was to beat demons after that, because after i heard fps bypass was allowed and switched to 240/288 fps, i felt little difference, not much changed at all.

Also you need to have patience and motivation to beat demons (specifically insane or extreme demons) I know from experience that if you don't have good patience and you are not comfortable playing a level, you will most likely give up or feel bored of the level. Like aeon said, beating the golden does not matter as much as being able to beat a lot of levels quickly and consistently. That's why I recommend playing a lot of easy-medium demons first, and once you have around 100+ demons you can move on to extreme demons with the motivation and patience you need. Also good video with good advice :) (sorry I hade to make you read the Bible XD)
Finally, the legend makes a video about this topic. Im sure that this video will help many people get better at the game, just like how Eric's video helped me get good at the game. There are some things in this video however that Eric didn't talk about, so thats EPIC! 😎
I had 20 easy demons with my hardest being hue effect than I beat one space which is a easy hard deamon. Then I jumped to nine circles and now I'm working on acropolis and got 50-100 and now I am working on 34-100. Edit: sry for bad writing

I am HEAVILY trying to work on the second one, skill cap/skill roof. My hardest demon is Night Terrors (around acropolis difficulty), I am going for Marathon right now (almost list worthy), I have about 15k attempts and some really good runs like 46% and 55-99% x2. It by far the biggest struggle I have ever had and yes, I thought I couldn't do it, I thought I would give up halfway and pick it up in a year while doing cataclysm as my first extreme, but now I am actually getting consistent and having fun.

For me, my hardest was Nine Circles or Spacelocked (I fluked Spacelocked from 45%) and I managed to get 95% on Supersonic, which was a huge jump. Then a few weeks ago, i managed to beat it in 14,321 attempts. I tried and tried because I wanted to complete an Insane Demon and I did. Now I am comfortable with trying Insane Demons which before Supersonic, I would be scared to play Insane Demons. I think huge jumps in gameplays does help, well for me. That's how I got better at the game.
I might as well suggest some levels that helped me get better at the game and were quite fun for me (well, most of them): Project J Moltenpunch Theory of Skrillex Hyper Fantasy Glitch Gremlin Foxtrox Nine Circles Ultimate Demon Mix (although I never beat it lmao) And Dr Raszagal Phoenix, which I chose as #100. P.S: A general tip I want to give is to not force yourself to play a hard level if it is inconsistent or you personally don't like it. You may have a lot of frustration, demotivating you from playing the game (examples for me were Back on Mountain and Insert Coin). Have fun with getting better at GD!
Do you advise quitting a hard level, if, let’s say, you get 98, 97, and 94 fails? Because that’s me on acropolis and idk if I should continue. I have like 5k attempts so far.

In my opinion, I like to get better at geometry dash in the exact opposite way. For myself, I was just doing easy demons for a while and never got anywhere. At some point, I made a skip to my first hard demon: nine circles. It took me 3000 attempts, it was not easy at all, but after I beat it, I was just way better at geometry dash, it only took like 3 days, I noticed actual improvements. Right now, I'm doing a level called ultra drivers because dual is not my strong point at all, it is super fast paced which I suck at, and it almost requires you to learn how to site read in order to beat it. I'm already noticing improvements in myself here too, at first, it took me 800 attempts (in practice mode) to get from the beginning of the first dual to the end of it ONE TIME, immediately after, I was able to beat it in 2 attempts in normal mode. The speed at which I am getting better is just insane, my friend has also been using this method and he's getting way better too. It's almost as if I'm forcing myself to get better by playing levels far out of my comfort zone.

Challenging yourself is a really good tip! My hardest is hate war and I’m jumping to hateful reflection with my hardest nc level being flat major, and I’m getting so much better at the game, and I’m seeing big improvements that I’ve never seen before I currently have 78% + 27-100, and will edit this comment if I get anything better

Aeon thank you. You motivated me to drop nine circles, I have been taking way too many breaks because of this level that I have never had to take I got 75% at around 2k attempts I now have 12k and still have 75% I will now do forsaken neon and do nine circles after

The 30-50 Demons strategy really served me well. Before I did it I only beat 3-5 medium demons and they took me over 1k attempts but now after the method I beat over 30 medium demons and they take me around 200-600 attempts.I did the same thing with hard demons and over time I started to beat them consistently fast. It also made me more motivated to keep playing and now I can beat extremes

I’ve only done 15 easy demons and decided fuck it let’s do supersonic as a joke since it was once a childhood dream to beat it. After about 10k attempts with 5k on custom levels at certain parts I’ve hit 87% (went from 67-87 in 2 days and expect to complete it tomorrow) and I’ve reached 64% in butiti 2 in 3k attempts, I think 60+ on hi and same with 8o. So I’d definitely say challenge yourself on a single level and suddenly you’re entire skill level will shoot up to adapt to that level. For reference, I’ve got 300 hours atm and a lot of that went towards robtop levels. Sure my consistency and timings are a little lacking for insane demon difficulty, but it’s really fun progressing fast and I’d recommend new players try the same thing.

How to get good at geometry dash. Step 1: dont play on 3 year old phone that cant process any levels except for ones that are fom 1.9 and eariler. And there you go! You are now 10x better than before

Well it depends. If you have beaten some really hard easy demon its fine but if something like blue hell is your previous hardest. Also if you drop alot of levels its normal. My friend has gotten through the entire first cube part in 8o. He has 3 demons

I think the title is a bit misleading. The video explains what good players do, such as speed and consistency. It seems to me that when I play levels such as Acu which i want to be my first extreme but honestly I'll probably never beat an extreme. I know exactly when to click but it's like I just can't click when I need to. Idk why my brain just doesn't comprehend it. Geometry dash seems to be one of those things you can't get better at it's all up to your cognitive skills. With the exception of starting at stereo madness and then eventually being able to beat demons but it's like, if I know when to jump/click, why do I fail to jump or click right there? Why do I sometimes click early or late? I know when to click so I just can't figure out why I can't click when I need to click. It's just a brain thing I guess. And believe me I don't have a good brain.

I play on mobile and my hardest demon is CraZy. I have 166 demons but only 1 insane. I was kinda bummed out until I saw this. Now I am potentially good at the game even though I have no extremes!
Hi aeon you might not see this but if you do, please read through it :) I’m getting my first computer later this year (I recently turned 15) and I have my doubts that 144hz will help me improve. I’m currently using my 60hz iPad to play, and I beat a lot of easy demons (sometimes medium). Does 144hz immediately improve someone’s skill? Or does it just help with improvement? And would you say 240hz is worth using though be it expensive?

I’ve been grinding insane demons before I do hard demons so I can see if the hard demons become easier. Also Aeon, is there a skill cap difference in XL demons and Long demons at the same difficulty?
For XL levels they have overall easier gameplay but require more consistency. So beating many demons will help more with long levels as you are more consistent at the game
I've played this game non stop since late 1.9 1 hard demon my best achievement (Nine Circles in 2074 attempts in total). 91 demons in total. 5,107 stars... I've practice all of this and yet I can't seem to improve lol
I know it is gonna sound stupid but currently my hardest level is leyak and I am practicing tm18, poltergeist and beetle( by cirtrax) all of which I have above 80% on. I really want to beat cataclysm but the first wave and straight fly at 40% are giving me trouble. On the other hand though I have 21% on blade of justice and I have done an 18-50 and an 80-100 run and a 36-80 on artifice, I have 45% on heat wave and I have done bloodbath in 50 attempts in practice... Obviously that doesnt mean I can beat them but it just baffles me that I still have trouble with cataclysm :/
I've seen multiple people say that hardware is a massive block that impedes your progress as a player, which is true, however, it does not limit your skill cap, it just makes it harder to become better at the game. As an incredible example of this, look at ThunderBT or Bradenbowl, both of which are incredible mobile players, Thunder has beaten either close to or over 40 Extreme Demons on mobile, including Bloodbath which is especially hard on mobile, and Braden took a huge leap in difficulty to Sunset Sandstorm, also becoming it's first victor, when people said that mobile players would never break into the Top 50 again, and technically mobile players could break into the top 30, or even 10, most feasibly with Sonic Wave and Cold Sweat, it would be hard, because the "skill ceiling" increases exponentially slower, but it is possible. Never give up gamers
I can beat like 5 easy demons a day. I’m consistent at that. But I HATE XL levels. And to improve on both difficulty and feelings about xl levels, I’m trying to beat future funk. I got 50% in 6 hours and I’m actually having fun! I never though I would like a level like that. It really helps to go outside of you comfort zone.
When I say get 144hz or more, I'm not joking. when I switched to 144hz I went from barely being able to beat easy demons to easily beating hard demons literally after 1 day of playing. After a few months of playing with it, I was able to beat a few easy insane demons. As of now, I can beat quite a few extreme demons if I put my mind to it. Also, my 1ms 144hz monitor was only $189 so it's a good budget monitor.
aeonair puts subsonic, phobos and bloodbath in hes thumnail because at the time those were hes hardest demons, look at him now, now he beated bloodlust, nhelv, cybernetic cresent, erebus, yatagarusu, artificial ascent, digical descent, and now soon he will beat rust, keep it up bro!

The temple series by Michigun (and more ._.) are imo the limits of hard demons, they are good to improve your skills (and nerves)

What worked for me is just keep playing levels that are harder than your current hardest. Worked for me.

Aeon thank you. You motivated me to drop nine circles, I have been taking way too many breaks because of this level that I have never had to take I got 75% at around 2k attempts I now have 12k and still have 75% I will now do forsaken neon and do nine circles after
I think ill do NC first and then forsaken neon due to my skillset. Im more fond of Wave gameplay and fast paced gameplay rather than timing and memory
@@icebearpl188 I also prefer wave gameplay but and I was really consistent at the wave but all I did was die to the first ship and it made me really mad
The 30-50 Demons strategy really served me well. Before I did it I only beat 3-5 medium demons and they took me over 1k attempts but now after the method I beat over 30 medium demons and they take me around 200-600 attempts.I did the same thing with hard demons and over time I started to beat them consistently fast. It also made me more motivated to keep playing and now I can beat extremes
If you want it hardcore mode, then try to siteread a hard demon without practice mode

I’ve only done 15 easy demons and decided fuck it let’s do supersonic as a joke since it was once a childhood dream to beat it. After about 10k attempts with 5k on custom levels at certain parts I’ve hit 87% (went from 67-87 in 2 days and expect to complete it tomorrow) and I’ve reached 64% in butiti 2 in 3k attempts, I think 60+ on hi and same with 8o. So I’d definitely say challenge yourself on a single level and suddenly you’re entire skill level will shoot up to adapt to that level. For reference, I’ve got 300 hours atm and a lot of that went towards robtop levels. Sure my consistency and timings are a little lacking for insane demon difficulty, but it’s really fun progressing fast and I’d recommend new players try the same thing.

Well it depends. If you have beaten some really hard easy demon its fine but if something like blue hell is your previous hardest. Also if you drop alot of levels its normal. My friend has gotten through the entire first cube part in 8o. He has 3 demons

I think the title is a bit misleading. The video explains what good players do, such as speed and consistency.
It seems to me that when I play levels such as Acu which i want to be my first extreme but honestly I'll probably never beat an extreme. I know exactly when to click but it's like I just can't click when I need to. Idk why my brain just doesn't comprehend it. Geometry dash seems to be one of those things you can't get better at it's all up to your cognitive skills.
With the exception of starting at stereo madness and then eventually being able to beat demons but it's like, if I know when to jump/click, why do I fail to jump or click right there? Why do I sometimes click early or late? I know when to click so I just can't figure out why I can't click when I need to click. It's just a brain thing I guess. And believe me I don't have a good brain.

It means how many times you did not give up.

I play on mobile and my hardest demon is CraZy. I have 166 demons but only 1 insane. I was kinda bummed out until I saw this. Now I am potentially good at the game even though I have no extremes!
It took 250000 atems and I still did not beat dry out

I’m getting my first computer later this year (I recently turned 15) and I have my doubts that 144hz will help me improve. I’m currently using my 60hz iPad to play, and I beat a lot of easy demons (sometimes medium). Does 144hz immediately improve someone’s skill? Or does it just help with improvement? And would you say 240hz is worth using though be it expensive?

-Have a good setup and a 240hz monitor
-U must have played the game for atleast 4 years

I’ve been grinding insane demons before I do hard demons so I can see if the hard demons become easier. Also Aeon, is there a skill cap difference in XL demons and Long demons at the same difficulty?
For XL levels they have overall easier gameplay but require more consistency. So beating many demons will help more with long levels as you are more consistent at the game

I've played this game non stop since late 1.9
1 hard demon my best achievement (Nine Circles in 2074 attempts in total). 91 demons in total. 5,107 stars... I've practice all of this and yet I can't seem to improve lol
I know it is gonna sound stupid but currently my hardest level is leyak and I am practicing tm18, poltergeist and beetle( by cirtrax) all of which I have above 80% on. I really want to beat cataclysm but the first wave and straight fly at 40% are giving me trouble. On the other hand though I have 21% on blade of justice and I have done an 18-50 and an 80-100 run and a 36-80 on artifice, I have 45% on heat wave and I have done bloodbath in 50 attempts in practice... Obviously that doesnt mean I can beat them but it just baffles me that I still have trouble with cataclysm :/
I've seen multiple people say that hardware is a massive block that impedes your progress as a player, which is true, however, it does not limit your skill cap, it just makes it harder to become better at the game. As an incredible example of this, look at ThunderBT or Bradenbowl, both of which are incredible mobile players, Thunder has beaten either close to or over 40 Extreme Demons on mobile, including Bloodbath which is especially hard on mobile, and Braden took a huge leap in difficulty to Sunset Sandstorm, also becoming it's first victor, when people said that mobile players would never break into the Top 50 again, and technically mobile players could break into the top 30, or even 10, most feasibly with Sonic Wave and Cold Sweat, it would be hard, because the "skill ceiling" increases exponentially slower, but it is possible. Never give up gamers
I can beat like 5 easy demons a day. I’m consistent at that. But I HATE XL levels. And to improve on both difficulty and feelings about xl levels, I’m trying to beat future funk. I got 50% in 6 hours and I’m actually having fun! I never though I would like a level like that. It really helps to go outside of you comfort zone.
When I say get 144hz or more, I'm not joking. when I switched to 144hz I went from barely being able to beat easy demons to easily beating hard demons literally after 1 day of playing. After a few months of playing with it, I was able to beat a few easy insane demons. As of now, I can beat quite a few extreme demons if I put my mind to it. Also, my 1ms 144hz monitor was only $189 so it's a good budget monitor.
