Yeah. The fact that it was the hardest level in the game in 2015 and remains UNBEATEN for 8 months i think. And now it is an entry level now. Time flies.
This could be biased since I went from being a demon grinder to challenge player, but I actually found challenges to help me improve a LOT at this game. I was able to tackle harder gameplay in harder levels since I was used to short, hard gameplay, and if anything, It'd improve my mindset when I was able to do the hardest parts of the hardest extremes in such little time. I also think consistency can come naturally with most things, considering there's only 1 thing which can build consistency. Practice. All in all great video!
I just got a pc to play gd on and I started of by playing challenge to improve, mostly wave ship and ball I also tried to beat part in extremes like michigans and cracks part in bloodbath and 58-100 in cataclysm. because the part are short I never got mad and had a lot of fun my skill increased a lot by doing that im trying to beat nine circles and i have 80% in 700att i also worked on constantly by playing easier long levels like death moon.
There’s definitely merit to trying out runs on harder levels, which some challenges are very similar to. Again though, you have to build consistency at your skill level too
yes well said, challenges are very underrated when it comes to improvement in the game. Cause when you play levels with the hardest gp that you possibly can your skill just skyrockets. And then you also get better at passing chokepoints consistently in very hard levels.

this is the type of stuff that new players need to see. It was all well-worded, properly thought-out, and extremely dense in helpful knowledge. Most of the friends I have actually discourage me to play long levels, or things I want to play(some of which appears in your list) which really motivates me. I shouldn’t play what my peers think I should, just because I want to please them. Thanks, npesta for sharing this content to us, I’m sure we all agree that this is the most comprehensive guide to Geometry Dash.
19:43 Thank you so much for this section. I recently entered the late game with my Cold Sweat completion, and I'm not gonna lie it burned me out BIG TIME. I realize that I really need to take more breaks, because I've played this game in multiple 5 hour sessions before (an unhealthy amount to say the least). This guide is spot on, not just in the late game section, but every section.
This is, by far, the most comprehensive and helpful video on this topic I've seen thus far. Thank you for putting in all the effort you did to make this video, it means a lot to me and others.
“Imma explain why I’m qualified to make a guide for this game.” Bruh you beat the #4 hardest level in the game, do you really need to explain why you’re able to have a platform to teach others on this game?
I definitely agree that streaming and making videos is a huge motivator. Even for me, idk why but just seeing that 3 viewer count or seeing feedback on RUclips just motivates me to get better fsr.
BRO I have astigmatism, I was even starting to think that with ADHD, astigmatism and nystagmus that I will never get anywhere in this game. it took me over 8k attempts to beat clubstep for the first time. Then I heard that Riot was similar. and now also someone with astigmatism as well. thanks a million for the video
I've gone 5 years with little improvement past official levels. After I saw this tutorial and applied it, I'm improving at the game faster than I have before.
Even as an extreme demon "Grinder" this was extremely helpful. You pointed out several things I had never thought about, and I'll try implementing some of the tips you mentioned. Overall one of the best guides I've seen for any video game ever.

Hey npesta, newer comment but i just wanted to say thank you. I think you are a really cool dude and really entertaining. You motivate me to keep streaming and growing my viewers & skills. I take this video seriously and want to thank you.
As a player that has been stuck at a brick wall with motivation and feeling like whatever I beat will not be enough to impress people lately this REALLY helps thank you so much :)
It depends on the person. Sakupen Hell is short, wave-heavy and has a hard part at the end. While Bloodbath is a long, mostly ship-heavy level with no difficult parts in the second half. Sakupen Hell might be harder because it's so much more challenging than Bloodbath that it makes up for it being short, but Bloodbath in turn is more legendary, so it can in theory feel harder for some people because of the history surrounding the level. I beat both levels but can't have a valid opinion on how their difficulty can be compared because I fluked Bloodbath from 52% (the parts in the second half mostly really aren't difficult, I'm not saying this because I fluked the level this hard obviously) and in Sakupen Hell I fluked 47-81% and then 81-100%. I played Bloodbath on 300fps and Sakupen Hell on 180fps, but had way way more non-bypass (60hz) practice with Sakupen Hell. Bloodbath took me a couple hours, while Sakupen Hell took me no more than 14 minutes with barely any preparation for normal mode playing with the bypass. That said, Sakupen Hell was easier for me.
definetly a great guide. i struggled a lot with motivation since i beat my hardest demon and i always wanted to go back into the grind calling a friend and playing long levels helped me a ton see you on top of the demon list in a few years
