- I’m extremely excited for the Chainsaw Dyno build. Here is a video I put together of the first few runs on my Chainsaw Dyno. We started at 2.8HP and hit 3.3HP after the muffler mod.

I bet that 1/2" shaft would benefit from moving the bearings out closer to the ends
Great idea! Yea, have already thought about swapping for 1” stock, but now she’s pulling constantly.

That dyno is cool as hell! Subbed. Almost 20% gains aint bad for a muffler mod. Nice work man. 👍
Hey thanks! It’s work in progress. I’m upgrading soon. Thanks for watching!
Well done mate I will have to keep an eye on your channel cheers Kevin 😊
Get rid of the hoodie neck draw strings. Cool vid
Great work. There definitely seem to be a market for people wanting to get their saws dyno tested. Once this thing is polished I bet you you'd get a fair bit of business from it
Thanks! Absolutely, sky’s the limit. I have much more planned after I get the necessities for becoming a 2 stroke tuner. I really want to put together a motorcycle Dyno down the road as well. 😉
Thanks for watching!!!
Cool! So, the 2.8hp runs were stock with the strato gasket opened up? I was surprised by the gains from the muffler mod since it is pretty much an empty can.
Yes, the two runs were with the gasket opened as it should be. Ran like a dog with them plugged. Yes, me too.
Thanks for watching!
Did you retune the carb after the muffler mod to add more fuel?
Negative, I actually was running a little rich the whole time. I made a 3.4hp with leaning out the high circuit on a run a few hours later and my plug was reading rich for sure.
Thanks for watching!
What is the name of the dyno software ?
