I've come round on the 3/8LP. All my little battery saws and my ea4300 run it and I hated it at first for the lack of full chisel options. Cleaning up several tornado wiped out acres changed my mind on the semi chisel chain. Now I like full chisel on the woodpile, and semi chisel when im bushwhackin and maintainin property. Oregon 91VXL is my favorite chain in the 3/8lp type so far. It's semi chisel but at least it lacks all the safety links on it. My only real complaint on these small chains is how quickly they sharpen away to nothing. I picked up one of these NH483 saws on black friday special and have been watching your vids on it to get up to speed. I couldnt resist a proper husky clone for the price of a 58cc no name special. Thanks for the content! Subbed
Thank you for subscribing!!! 👍🏻 I just picked up the red version also, the Redmax 4350, I just put a video out on it just showing a few differences between them. Overall the 843 is a great saw for the money and has plenty power!!!!
Nice! Thanks for the chain size and type info. I wonder if the Husky 543xp has a 7 or 8 pin .325 rim from the factory? I guess I should check my Redmax GZ4350 I just bought off marketplace 🤔
No not on this one, I herd that the issue was being fixed, so for the greater good imma test it, seems to be lasting longer than the last one lol. Just don't buy the ones they are pushing for $130 unless you change them right away, buy the newer ones that are $179, that's what I gather.
@@dubbssawshop did the washers in your new saw look any different from your broken ones? Mine are black oxide colored in the Neotec saw I bought this summer. It looked like your broken washers were plain metal colored in the video. My saw was from the jungle site at a lower price though. I just got Husky washers yesterday that I am going to put in it for peace of mind.
@@jamiewykes8585 yes the new saw definitely has darker colored washers, unlike the plain looking ones in the other that broke. Hopefully that's the telling sign 👍🏻
Those seem to be making some good saws with a little work.
Yea I like em since they are so light!!! Very easy on the back 👍🏻

Be interesting to see a 325 full skip chain on her.Mean little saw for sure.
I run my Husky 543xpg on 3/8 and 14" with a Stihl full chisel chain. It's the best for this saw.
@@RealMopedRumblePack haven't tried 3/8 yet, may have to give that a whirl to see how I like it.
