    I was devastated to hear about Matthew Perry, he was much too young. But I was even more devastated to hear about Richard Moll. I was in grade school when Night Court was on TV. I was bullied everyday and I would always imagine that Bull would come to my school and threaten the mean kids to leave me alone. One day, I'd had enough and yelled at the kids the way I always imagined Bull would. After that, they left me alone. 😊 Thanks Richard for being a gentle giant. It helped us little people. ❤

      He was a basketball game announcer a few years ago and would do occasional Virginia Tech games, regional sports stuff. Just very fun to listen to, I get the impression he's a little bit bipolar with that associated intelligence, he could really break down what was going on in a play.

      @@clayton6499 Yeah, this was fairly recent, I was kind of surprised seeing him there at the broadcast booth in Cassell Coliseum, I mean, sure, VT is D1 basketball but some nights you get the minor league broadcast teams and that's kind of what he was doing there. He's surely a big name in college basketball but this was after the disgrace and being fired and all so guess just a way to pick up some change while staying out of the limelight. Don't remember the affixation maybe ACCN/ESPN. Seemed to get along with people, everyone calling each other "coach" type of stuff. Yeah, he's a smart guy, understands the technical stuff. Figure that's where the anger came from, he sees stuff clearly and didn't understand why some players don't.

    No mention of former Pittsburgh Penguins, and recent EIHL hockey player Adam Johnson who died Sat. 10/28 after being kicked in the throat with the skate blade of opposing player Matt Petgrave? Is there anyone in the media that ISN'T covering for Petgrave so that incident goes away as quickly and as quietly as possible?

      @dantheman5745 9 месяцев назад

      @@legacycomSo Adam Johnson's family doesn't want anyone to know that he died? You frequently identify people who have passed away without commenting on their cause of death. You acknowledged Matthew Perry's death without mentioning _his_ cause of death. His death was tragic. And his family is grieving. But you still tactfully mentioned that he died. You folks do a tremendous job, and are clearly very conscientious in your approach. I guess I just don't understand why Adam Johnson's death needs to be unacknowledged.

    • @DavidMasters-nt7rm
      @DavidMasters-nt7rm 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@dantheman5745 "In keeping with the wishes of the deceased's grieving family" sounds like they didn't publish the information, you know, in keeping with the family's wishes. I suppose it COULD be part of a vast media conspiracy to protect a no-name hockey player, but I don't know how someone arrives at THAT weird conclusion, especially when both the incident and the ensuing scrutiny on Petgave has been widely covered by media outlets across the world. Maybe, just MAYBE, Johnson wasn't included in this video for the reasons they said: the family requested that he not be.

    • @tejaswoman
      @tejaswoman 9 месяцев назад

      @@dantheman5745presumably when they identify people who have died without discussing their cause of death, it is in cases where family members haven't specifically reached out to ask them not to. It isn't necessarily that the family thinks no one will know he died, but more likely that they already feel overwhelmed by the public attention and asked it not be increased by inclusion on this channel that has so many dedicated viewers. Considering that one purpose of this channel highlighting famous deaths is to get across the message that the rest of us can memorialize our family members (for free) on the Legacy web site, it would be contrary to their purpose if they rudely ignored a family's direct request NOT to do so.
