So glad that this fascinating documentary was translated into English. Had a great big crush on Marlon Brando when I first saw his movies in the early 1970's. Really did not understand the complexities of his personality until I saw this video. Was rather sad to find out that he had a rather messed up childhood and that he did not get the love he needed from his parents. But was rather disgusted by the terrible way that he treated the women in his life. Although he seemed to have become a joke by the time he died, I do believe that he deserved to be featured as the cover story of People magazine when he died and that he deserved more praise and recognition when he passed. R.I.P. Marlon Brando
My bug bear is the way he treated the women in his life and children in his life. It's not acceptable to say that his behaviour was because of his childhood trauma. If everyone who had the experiences Brandon had and behaved that way then what a World we Would live in. He had choices . Perhaps he was to far down the line and too damaged to see?!😢😮
What they neglected to tell was that Mr. Brando said the love of his life was Wally Cox. Reference: Beauregard Houston-Montgomery has stated that one time, while high on marijuana, Marlon Brando confessed to him that Wally Cox had been the love of his life. There is no way to tell whether this story is true, but Marlon Brando’s everlasting love for Wally Cox is clear whether it is or not.
This was absolutely beautifully made. What a complex man he was. A terrific actor and very handsome man. Such a sad childhood he had. The first movie I ever saw him in was Mutiny on the Bounty. I was just a kid, but I loved it. Thanks to all those who stood by him until the end.

His children visited him regularly, as did others. In fact, son ran to the hospital the say after Englund's visit when he heard Brando had been taken there, but he was too late. @@susancunningham7933 saw that in a theater once in Harvard Square. great print, as I recall it's a small venue, and we sat right up front. and THAT is an 'in your face' film .Steiger as Charlie, his brother,
"you wuz my brother, Charlie, y' shoulda looked out for me a little". instead, you came to my locker room and said "Kid, it's not your night. we're going' for the price on Wilson".good dialogue is priceless. "I'm gonna take it out of they're skulls ,Charlie. I'll take it out of their skulls." that's when crooked Lee J. Cobb got what was coming to him.
Brando was a legend and still is, Pacino is a legend, De Niro is a legend.
What a Joke. All three of them are nothing but shit. Especially DeNiro.
Please don't forget Klaus Kinski👈(from Jujuy,Argentina)
They all are just men
😂
He was beautiful!!
👌👍
If I was around when he was young, Ida made it my life's mission t steal a kiss/night with him; he was sex on legs an I was totally unashamedly inlove with him
As a man, , t me, he was Sex on legs in his youth an I had a massive crush on him especially after watching Streetcar an Guys and Dolls;
As an actor, he was right up there with the Silverscreen greats of 40s-50s
As a Activist, he said his piece an did his bit but as an alround people person ,nice guy,well.....the jury's out
HE WAS MORE THAN EXCELLENT.WE CAN NEVER HAVELIKE ALEN DELON & MARLON BRANDO😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
A Great Actor Though Old Age Finally Gets Us In The End.
A talented who made his legend through the heavy rain...☔⚡⛈️
It’s not to understand a person but to love, if you love them ❤
Top notch narration, nice voice, knows when to stop talking.
Very interesting documentary !!
Marlon, was one of the most handsom actors ever to walk this earth.😊
Extraordinaire reportage!!!!!
Jednostavno..... Osobenjak!
Izvrstan dokumentarnac.🖐️
Firstofall many thanks for this exceptional documant
I knew Marlon was unheappy but not so much and whay ....😢
When i was very young my family went to the drive in theater & saw "the wild one" starring MB. It scared me so much i never forgot it.
Not only one of the most beautiful craftedmen alive but extremely talented/versatile actor 2
He was also an activist an very people centric (cared about those less fortunate than himself etc). I love him
Und das muss die Welt wissen?
Ein bemerkender Schauspieler.
Ruhe in Frieden.😊
Excelente! Obrigada por compartilhar 🎉
Marlon had no rival. This was the single greatest actor that this country has ever produced.
Un acteur exceptionnel !
personne stupide
Seems like a creep to me

So, very sad. RIP!
no one lives knowing what it is for and why....but have to until the last breath

God Bless the Soul of Marlon Brando. I get who you are & thank you for all you did & wish you Parafise🙏🙏🙏
Im finding out now that most of my childhood hero's that I idolized had a nasty dark side to them .
Marlon Brando was one of my hero's in my youth .. It pains me to find out he was not the hero that I thought he was ..
The biggest let down for me was Robin Williams ... The guy had me completely fooled ..
Im now skeptical of all celebrities including TV personalities etc. and no longer take anyone at face value
R.I.P. Sir Brando
He was great in the Godfather. His best movie.
No, for me that was “On the Waterfront “,…An absolute classic
@@hjd832A Streetcar Named Desire
I wonder if his sister is still with us....actress Jocelyn Brando - movie "The Big Heat" with Glenn Ford. RIP🙏
@@sandyshores5688 Jocelyn died a year after her brother, and the other sister passed ten years before Marlon.
Must be the only one you saw by him then.
Good doc, but putting the names of the people included and what they did, their relationship to Brando would’ve made it a lot better.
Marlon Brando le Parrain Corleone !
His ashes were mixed with those of his life-long friend, Wally Cox, and were scattered in Death Valley and Tahiti.
Who is the little guy in the kitchen location with white hair providing so much on camera testimony?? This is a very interesting documentary, but it fails in the graphics department… It doesn’t identify who speaking.
Completely agree.
Little guy?
@@MsMesem don’t know about that, but, agree that the doc really needed graphics so I could understand who was who and do more research

BASTAVA LA SUA SOLA PRESENZA SENZA DIRE UNA PAROLA ATTIRAVA COMPLETAMENTE LA TUA ATTENZIONE
Excellente. Ahí no entro.
The way he raised his own children was pure evil.
That's true to his character. He was truly an evil, completely self-absorbed and despicable person.

Damn he was such a gorgeous and charming man , good looking , indeed ✌🏽❤️
Toxic to women/no regard
That may be the case but he wasnt a good father nor husband
He was certainly gorgeous when he was young, and a very good actor. I notice people saying he was "complex," which seems to be a euphimism for "a jerk," and I agree. He treated women very badly.
Gran actor hasta el final!!! Ahí están sus peliculas para recordarlo. Muy buen documental, muy real. Gracias al comentarista.
Un monstre du cinéma.
Un mostro e basta! ,😄😄😄
