The Mafia's Repentants

For nearly half a century, Giulio Andreotti reigned over Italian political life. A key figure of Christian democracy, nicknamed the "stainless" by Italians fascinated by his extraordinary ministerial survival, Andreotti was nevertheless put on trial in early 1995 for alleged collusion with the Mafia and complicity in homicide.
It was the confessions of Tomaso Buscetta, a famous repentant, that led Andreotti to the dock. And while Buscetta is hiding somewhere in the world, another mafioso remains silent.
These three men are at the center of the investigation, one of the most spectacular of the "clean hands" operation. The director endeavors to paint a portrait of those who broke the "omerta", the law of silence that reigns within Cosa Nostra, as well as other mafia clans.

De verdad que no estoy de acuerdo con que los delincuentes y menos los mafiosos, entren en los programas de protección de testigos, que cumplan sus condenas y que sean las más duras. Total, dicen lo que quieren y se supone esas informaciones deben ser confirmadas, así que las autoridades que hagan su trabajo completo y al que atrapen le armen bien su expediente, los jueces que asuman su parte y sean menos benignos con esos asesinos.
