Year's ago, I saw a documentary type show where the reporter followed around a thief as he was committing both burglarie's and car theft's. He was plying his trade right there in Canarsie, and he was very good at it. Mainly with his burglarie's. On one job, he showed how he would get into a building, and with the proper tool's, he'd show how he got into these safe's. He'd take a diamond, carbide blade and cut a hole into the side's of these safe's and make a hole big enough to reach his hand into them and remove whatever valuable's were inside of them. What wound up happening was, he wasn't kicking up to the local shot-caller's. And on top of that, he supposedly hit a Russian mob-controlled strip joint. He'd told the reporter he was going to do the job, and soon after, he disappeared. The reporter never heard from him again, and the Russian's never reported it to the police, either. The implication was, either it was the Russian owner's of the strip joint. Or, the local mobster's, whom he was disrespecting for a long time by taking down score's and not kicking up. I wish I could find that show again because I believe that maybe I could've figured out who these gangster's were that controlled that area at the time. It would've been very easy to do...

Ahhh back when documentaries were good 👍 👌
It was basically a crew of serial killers. One of the most feared crews at that time; and when they teamed up with the Westies, they were untouchables.
And it ended up his own crew that killed him.
@@crazyralph6386 In mafia, it`s always your best friend who organizes your meeting with God.
Another one where the background music is actually the foreground music...🤣
The actor playing Roy demeo looks nothing like him demeo was a heavy set guy
They couldn't afford Marlon Brando.
As usual, don’t need all this music cranked up…it should be way in the background.
Is not even that bad
Roy was a psychopath
Unfortunately the head shrinkers @ Bellview mental hospital. Never got the opportunity to spend quality time with him-!!!😭.
Always been fascinated by DeMeo and the NY mob.
Good doco.
"It wasnt a disco." is so true. Folks thought it was because of the name. Gemini Lounge.
Even when Gotti was order to take out de meo he declined..it says alot
That's just made up , you can't refuse an order by the boss in your family otherwise you yourself will be killed , John knew that , and there is no way he would refuse an order
Was the Editor on drugs when he did this?
I personally liked the edit
5000 cars a week but only 76,000 car crimes in total a year on New York? Doesn't make sense
it was per month I think 🤔
And how can it be that USA is only 250 years old!
And Denmark is 2 million years old!!
How did it become a country?
Uhhhh, no Denmark is definitely not 2 million years old. Tf are you talking about ?
You can only get to Denmark by train from NYC. 😂
@@Ludvig-Tintin-Hansen-1312 The Vikings and the Yanquies.
"NY finest" is a long stretch for that time period
"Gemini Method" would be the name of his biopic if Hollywood ever made one.
Nah, "Murder Machine" is a better title.
@@mufasaisking7591 yeah that's pretty good too
@@spaea2062 No, it's better than yours.
You're like "You know what would be a good title for a Roy Demeo biopic, 'Taurus Car'...
Or maybe it's because of the Gemini Lounge they hung out at? No..? Okay. @@VinnyCarwash-js8op
Unwatchable because the music doesn’t match , shame because it could be excellent if the music wasn’t such a distraction
That is a common issue with people on the autistic spectrum. That's why comment sections are packed with that complaint now.

@@coadyyoung335 Yes, I guess he was, he played Roy,...but Real Mobsters and the NYPD Detectives will tell you that Kuklinski (the Iceman) had NO relationship with Kuklinski. Kuklinski was shown to be a huge liar!
Demeo was seeing cuban hitmen everywhere even in the trees.
Sanny the bull saus they got members of the DeMeo crew to whack Roy
The darkness underneath podcast does a more in depth series on the demeo crew.
Rugs attract attention but 5000 cars a week wouldn't bat an eye.
Is Selwyn Raab in this? I'll only watch if Selwyn is in it.
Stop at the Gemini to dump in the mens room. Great tourist trap.

The music that plays in the background is so stupid and annoying.
A 10 episode Netflix movie should be made of this crew.
This is the same documentary. It is on Real Crime and Best Documentaries.
