As a Colombian, the injury to Falcao before the 2014 World Cup was devastating, we truly had a world class player. I can only wish the best for him at Rayo
The video was cool until he started the bullshit about the cartel being involved; by that time there wasn’t a recognizable one; and the threats to that player probably from twiter.
I am Colombian and Falcao made me love football, he has always been my favorite player, in fact, Lanceros, the team in which he debuted was the team from my city. I thank you for this video, it was great
I’m a Mexican who lived in Colombia from when I was 4 to when I was 7. I fell in love with football there. When I was in school my friends all talked about cuadrado James and Falcao. In fact Falcao made me a Manchester United fan even though he was only in it for a little.
As a Manchester United fan I can honestly Falcao was my favourite “flop” as the media would call him, never wanted a player to succeed so much and was so sad when it didn’t work for him!! Great video and thanks for the info!!
That injury he got did it never came back the same from someone who played with heart and soul to having to play carefully to put food in his plate still my favorite long live el Tigre
Same here. Plus I liked his movements inside the box I remember at the beginning even though he wasn’t scoring but always pull defenders to mark him and space was was opened for Rooney to come from outside the box and score.
As a Porto supporter, I will never forget this legend! I really wish the injury never stopped him, as for my money he was the absolute best striker in the world around 2011-13
A great video about Falcao filled with facts.. Falcao is a word class player and highly talented. He was among the best strikers of his era and if not for injuries he'll definitely win the world best though his colourful career. One thing that made him standout is his mental toughness bcos most players wouldn't have accomplished what he did had they encounted the same setbacks as Falcao. But despite his cereer threatened injuries which are constant.Yet, he managed to be competing at the highest level and giving world best players who are injury free a run for their money. I believe his greatness lies in his mental toughness and never say die attitude. Besides, he was a delight to watch even when he's not playing well. Yet, you'll still notice that touch of brilliance and flashes of a Genius that made him One of the Best of his era. Falcao remains one of the best strikers in the history of football. To accomplish what he achieved with the amount of injuries he had made him One of the greatest footballer of all time. Bcos only few footballers would've been able to accomplish such fate given the circumstances. Falcao is highly missed bcos he was always a delight to watch.. Nice video.
I played with Falcao as a kid in Colombia and traveled with him to Argentina to play a tournament. Best memory of him is how great he was on the field he was even a better person. Never acting like a hotshot. Always quiet and smiling.
Also one of my favorite players I've ever seen, for sure my favorite striker, he was complete, he could do a couple dribbles if needed, he wasn't slow, he could win balls in the air, hold the ball and pass, even with his left foot, just amazing, he scored goals in all different sides and options, just an amazing player.
amazing content as allways, idk if you will read this but personally i would love you to make a video on Ivan "Bam Bam" Zamorano not many people know what he did on the pitch and not many show him enough of respect! Cheers keep up the good work
A world class striker and an amazing person. Simple, warm, with a kind heart. He made many friends along the way. At River Plate he is a legend to this day. Great player.
He's a victim of circumstances; when he came to Manchester United and Chelsea he rarely played full matches playing last 10-15 minutes at most. It was clear that he didn't have the full support and confidence by each coach (especially when you consider what the condition of the clubs were at the time of his respective loans). That and how injuries came at bad times during his later career made him very inconsistent. Hell the fact that he's doing amazing with Rayo right now back in La Liga really is a statement to how his ACL never really made him lesser. Even then since that injury he's had such unique and special moments showing what he can do still if playing regularly.
No. The guy was unlucky , was plagued with up injury problems from very early on in his career. But he was a deadly finisher. And his moves to the prem was all about money. Typical from South American players to seek a couple of big pay days before they go back home. And man united paid ridiculas wages which I’m sure he was thankful for. Cheers. And Chelsea paid well too. Double cheers.

To the people who keep saying. “Oh, Falcao shouldn’t have left Atlético.” “Oh, he went out chasing money.” Falcao didn’t want to leave Atletico, he was forced to. UEFA was investigating & banning third party ownership of players and Falcao was one of the many players whose rights weren’t 100% owned by their clubs. When Atlético wanted to buy Falcao from Porto they were in financial straits, so a third party investor stepped in and agreed to finance 55% of Falcao's €40M transfer fee in exchange for 55% of his registration rights. In other words. ATLÉTICO DIDN’T OWN FALCAO. THIRD PARTY INVESTORS DID. Atlético only had to pay Porto €18M and would have had to pay this third party investor 55% of his market value to keep him. Which they couldn’t afford. That’s why when Monaco bought him, they had to pay Atleti €27M & his third party owners €33M under the table so they could reserve his complete sporting rights, since UEFA was cracking down on third party ownership of players.
@@JpCarranza1610 there’s many stories like these… like how Mascherano & Tevez joined West Ham because of third party investors wanting their money’s worth & many others.
I started really watching football in 2013. Falcao I believe was injured around that time. I’d see him in the short Ligue 1 highlight promo. He looked so cool, literally like a hawk. Could only imagine what him and James would’ve done at the world cup. Then he had those poor seasons at united and Chelsea so I didn’t see Falcao in good form till the 16/17 season with Monaco but man was it worth it. That chip vs Man City will never be forgotten. Legend.
I still wonder what that Porto team would have achieved if that overrated loud mouth Villas Boas hadn't left for Chelsea and thus making Falcao leave the club as the Champions League project for that season got a severe blow. That team was so good and has such insane chemistry that it felt anything was possible. The trio of Hulk-Falcao-James in their primes was a stellar world class offensive threat. Clearly, they were too good for the Portuguese league.
The botafogo match comeback was something else. River getting that victory playing with 9 men for most of the second half and Falcao just being himself. Radamel must be the only player from that final season in River who is remembered kindly by the fans

Footballers need some love, cause we can see that a lot of times they didn't get the support needed.

Not really. Sports were always well financed and developed in the old Eastern Bloc countries, so nothing about the Polish success is that impressive or unique. They had a great striker (Lato) a great playmaker (Deyna) and a whole lot of luck, beating the worst Brazilian team ever in the 3rd place game.
