Di Stefano has won 5 UCLs and he has scored in the finals of all 5 of them.. In fact, he had scored goals in QFs and SFs in all 5 of his UCL winning campaigns..

@@boombs7232 I agree. A player can only be the greatest of THEIR time. You can’t compare great players from different eras when the game was at different stages of evolution and say one was greater than the other.
Di Stefano, like Ronaldo had a monster mentality. The recent Real Madrid documentary talks how Real was facing a team in USSR or around there, the pitch was ice... you'd slip & couldn't move or run with the ball. The whole team was demoralized but he encouraged the team, put himself in defense & said that they can't lose, which was amazing. Like Cristiano, he'd push his team further. Even Ramos does that. Di Stefano revolutionized football but his mentality to win & hunger for football has made Real Madrid to be the best football club in the world, countless captains & best players in the world inherited that mentality. Cristiano fit in perfectly at Real because even if he was arrogant or selfish, his hunger for winning obscured everything. The reason why Real since then, from decade to decade has won trophies is because of that mentality. You can stain the white shirts with mud but not with shame/humiliation.
The same winning mentality that would have them buy referees and use the political powers to influence results. You can stain the RM with blood and therefore with shame as the team has historically aligned themselves with fascists.
CR7 has definitely helped placed the winning mentality back on its feet after the failed Galactico experiment of the early 2000s (they had winning mentality too, but lack of essential players cuz Perez is about that superstardom $$$), but that's also because there was good management from the likes of Mourinho, Ancelotti, and Zidane (whom players respect and look up to as he was once the greatest of his generation), and the rightful players who complimented each other's strengths and weaknesses. All of them were born to win in the most competitive atmospheres and they have banded together to do so.

Lol. Every Real madrid fan I talk to people say stefeno is the greatest real madrid player. Stop lying to yourself.
@@abusaeed5083 Ronaldo is comfortably the best not even a debate any Madrid fan who thinks anyone is better than Ronaldo is clueless and ungrateful
@@dylanplays4449 bro, florentino perez and the ultras of RM say Di stefeno is the greatest player of Real Madrid. Only Ronaldo’s fanboy wouldn’t agree with that. Real Madrid is synonymous to Di Stefeno. Dont be foolish.
@@abusaeed5083 Cr7 is better than Him But Di Stefano is the most important player in Madrid's history what about that you cant understand? In everybody's Top 10 greatest players ever Cr7 is top 5 and Di Stefano is right outside the top 5. How delusional can you be Dude???
@La Casa Blanca Yeah true Di Stefano couldnt win 5 Ballon d'ors in his era Cr7 won 5 while competing with Messi that alone should tell you everything
The king of Spain 🇪🇸
You should do one about kubala
Interesting facts! Does anyone know the background song tho?
Alfredo Di Stéfano
Mario Kempes
Diego Maradona
Gabriel Batistuta
Lionel Messi.
dear god Argentina, stop already!
Any video on Alberto Spencer?
0:36 is actually Billy meredith
If only they had great camera equipments in that era.
So cristiano using the number 9 was just a magic thing so that di stefano could be with him winning all 5 champions and league titles
Never knew anything about him more than his name and real madrid is his club
This video seems too short, made him like halaand or cr7 or alan sherar or even vardy on personal terms
But insisting that he is more than that, saying he is the one before pele and cruyf needs a wider search
But thank you it's really still great video
Fun Fact: Before the Madrid - Inter final, Di Stefano argued violently with Miguel Munoz about the tactics to man-mark Facchetti, in his memoirs Di Stefano wrote: "Munoz told me to go to hell, so I told him to go to hell and I ended up being kicked out."
imagine if Messi was in the same time as Di Stefano, what would football look like today?
Dude words wouldn’t even explained how immensely huge would that be if it were real. The whole planet earth would just blow up in amaze and excitement watching them together. 🌍🤯😱🥶🫨
and what about puskas? or Paco gento? the history of real madrid is not only about di stéfano gentlemen.
Another historic Argentinian,
💝
Of course,Alfredo De Stefano sir was an interracial person who could have played for either Italian,Irish or German national but I fully appreciate his boldness for representing Argentinian and Colombian national teams respectively till his "controversial" transfer to Real Madrid which is not even a matter where he was an ultimate legend at the club and easily he was the 'lifetime achiever' and also, not to forget to play for the Spanish national team, good friends!!!A true legend who must never ever die and he was the example and I fully hope that he would be reborn again as the same person as he was in his previous birth, good friends!!!🙏
Interracial? Lmao
"Interracial"??? What you are talking about???
You mean different nationalities💀 and who wouldn’t play for the country they were born and raised in and played most of your life in?
Faz um vídeo do stanley matthews. Tao velho e ganhou uma bola de ouro?
Given as it was the first one, it could have been given based his career rather than on his season.
Maybe that criteria changed over time.
Great info hard to take accent
Really? I'm Yorkshireman, understood him perfectly.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻nice job, everything i should and didn't know...I just knew the name and that he was a legend, now I know his story
Di Stefano would have won a world cup 3 times If he played a world cup in evrey team. ot even more!
Alfredo 💙🤍
Do a ozil one
One video of sadio Mané 🇸🇳🇸🇳🇸🇳🇸🇳
He laid base for real madrid what they have become today
Quem è melhor Messi o Ronaldo?
Jimmy Johnstone do Celtic de Glasgow e depois o Ronaldo !!
Se nunca nunca ouviste falar de Mágico González, acho que vais gostar. Thank me later 😉
Dang
Finally my request has been answered...
Di Stefano , the best football player of Spain on the history of the game.
Cruyff made Ajax and Barca what they are
Beckenbauer made Bayern what it is now
Maldini made a.c Milan what it is now
R9 made what Inter is now
Baggio made Juventus what it is now
Steven Gerrard made Liverpool what it is now
Maradona made Napoli what it is now
Pele made Santos what it is now
Bobby Charlton influenced Man Utd
And Di Stefano affected Madrid…simply the goats along with Cr7 and Messi
Where is the ranking?
Didn't know he's Argentinian
EL dorado deserves its own video. Crazy time in Colombia
Is it Di Stef-a-no or Di Stef-awn-o
