    Cool to see you trying hard on the max hangs. I also love them! Really love the half crimp grip, I find getting strong in this position really helps with feeling super solid on positive edges on overhangs. Keep it up Matt!

    it is 15 per side and I do the dish tucks the same way cause going all the way up feels horrible on my back. supermans if you do them slower feels a lot worse but you get more benefit

    13:26 How many movements was that? 80? Oh well i have problem doing 30 at the end of my training. Though i usually climb very slowly during endurance training because i usually don't climb fast on a rope climbing!

    Hi Matt on June I was in Chamonix for the Arc’Teryx academy ( Actually I met you and Hugo in the bar). During the that week I could not find a climbing Gym in Chamonix. So where are you training?

    I'm using the lattice app as well. But for my taste the variety of exercises is too small. Especially when it comes to flexibility exercises. Also I don't like that you can't adjust the number of reps, rest times and also stretching times. Nontheless I like to use it as an addition and to track my training.

    How long does a gym session average time wise?

    • @mattgroom5179
      @mattgroom5179  5 лет назад +1

      Really depends on what you are doing that day. You can tailer it to fit your time. I recon though a good hour to warm up properly, and then do the exercises with the required rest time.

      @@carlbowkett4588 Usually you get a set of sessions after you specify how much time you can train. The sessions can be combined although some they specify you can't do back to back. Some of the sessions you can also do at home, like the floor core workout or flexibility workout.

    Hey Matt!
    Thanks for letting us be part of your sessions!
    I saw you performing the test on the lattice rungs but then train in the gym on the bm2k 1.5mm holds. How do the lattice rungs compare to the bm2k holds?
    There seem to be various different opinions out there and I was hoping you could shed some light since I am about to start a training plan myself and have only access to a bm2k.
    Thanks and all the best!!

    • @kostrzak18
      @kostrzak18 5 лет назад

      It was on bm1k which is 19 mm deep (more or less the same as lattice). Even Alex Megos won't be able to hang on 1.5 mm :)

      Terkel Algevind it's simple, if me and Matt are addin the same weight (30kg) on a 20mm eadge and I'm 57kg and he's, let say, 70 it means he is relatively stronger. I asked beacouse I'm pulling the same numbers but I dont think we weigh the same.
