The skater that had her lip ripped off by a pit bull like you looks amazing and she had the same lip flap you did. I hope you prevail in the lawsuit against this ignorant couple.
This was hard to watch.. I had the same thing happen in October of 2021 except my bottom lip was left hanging and they were able to reattach most of it. It is about half the size it used to be so lip filler would be amazing. I have a big bite shaped scar on my chin as well. It was my sons American Bully and one bite but because of just how much force and the size, he did a lot of damage. Very traumatic experience. I can’t imagine what this woman went through, the shock that your body goes through and what it does to your mental health is unimaginable. I pray for a speedy recovery for her🙏🏼 Such an inspiring woman. My plastic surgeon told me that most of his clients are from dog bites so please, especially if owning a bully breed (because of their strength…and stubbornness, not breed discrimination) get it trained. You might not think it would ever attack someone for no reason but it happens much more often than people know. Every dog can do damage but an out of control of fearful big dog that is solid muscle does a lot more damage than a chihuahua (common sense) I am the biggest dog lover and never expected this to happen to me. Get your dogs trained!

Your surgeons are amazing! And you heal you so quickly! You've got great skin. I was diagnosed August 16 with Cancer. The process of "healing" for me will take about 3 years. Not to mention the "cure" shortens my life, and the Cancer will likely reappear 10 years from now. The setbacks suck! You can do it Jacqueline! 🌹

To pit owners: You have an utmost responsibility to save the breed. 60% of pitty owners DO NOT train their dogs enough. Arguments can be made that they can never be trained enough to fully prevent these events from happening if they snap. We worry about our hair, our skin complexion, our muscles. This strong women cannot. She has to rely on her beautiful personality.

You are an amazing young woman! I am a dog trainer and the amount of dog attacks on humans is astonishing to me. I think every person that by zoar adopts a dog should have to go through a class on how to breed dog behavior. It absolutely terrifies me when I see people adopt adult dogs that have children in the home. Most people have no clue how dangerous a dog can be and they literally are risking their children's lives. I believe that shelters have a huge responsibility in this, I use to be against putting a dog down without first trying to see if they can be fixed but I have changed my mind with all the human deaths and attacks by dogs. No kill shelters are a huge problem , they hide the dogs problem history and especially bite history, even shipping these dogs to Canada and adopting them out to unsuspecting families with children. There are too many good dogs in shelters that need adopting, any dog that has the propensity to attack a human should be put down. My 27 year old daughter brookside adult training facility and she was a bit yesterday by an aggressive Pitbull mix. The owner came to pick the dog up and she walked in back to the kennel so he could get his dog and said when they walk through the door she would open the door and stand behind it as he went through, he was loosely holding the leash and the dog reached around and latched onto her thigh and shook. This was totally unprovoked and should have never happened, the owner was careless and allowed this dog to get to her knowing it was aggressive. I love dogs but it is not worth the risk of managing an aggressive dog, there is to many things that could happen. I wish you all the best you are a beautiful person and I have been watching your recovery and your strength never ceases to amaze me.God bless you.

My mum was attacked by a dog she stepped out of her car and a dog latched onto her face the dog was a bull mastiff the dog weren’t on a lead and later to learn had escaped out of the garden the dog was put down and my mum cried because all she said was it wasn’t the dogs fault and she was so sad about this she was so lucky to survive the attack she had a few surgeries now she has a glass tube in her eye now and stitches in her forehead and chin n lips she thought she was gonna die as all she saw was red as the skin from her forehead flapped down covering her eyes I look up to my mum every day being so brave and I have watched your recovery and would like to say you are the most strongest lady I have seen to make this aware for others is very remarkable sweetie good luck to everything you still have to go through babes look forward to seeing the great work that all the doctors are doing it’s amazing to see how fantastic your looking as well xxxx hope you don’t mind me sharing my mums story with you xxx

There needs to be uniform protocol for dog sitters. Dogs take many visits and give owner something with your scent for them to keep in the dogs safe space for at least a month, I know there's more. I didn't know these things either until someone informed me. You're doing amazing! We all have crap we need to get through, some more than others but know there's a lot of people on your side and know you're a warrior woman!

My mum was attacked by a dog she stepped out of her car and a dog latched onto her face the dog was a bull mastiff the dog weren’t on a lead and later to learn had escaped out of the garden the dog was put down and my mum cried because all she said was it wasn’t the dogs fault and she was so sad about this she was so lucky to survive the attack she had a few surgeries now she has a glass tube in her eye now and stitches in her forehead and chin n lips she thought she was gonna die as all she saw was red as the skin from her forehead flapped down covering her eyes I look up to my mum every day being so brave and I have watched your recovery and would like to say you are the most strongest lady I have seen to make this aware for others is very remarkable sweetie good luck to everything you still have to go through babes look forward to seeing the great work that all the doctors are doing it’s amazing to see how fantastic your looking as well xxxx hope you don’t mind me sharing my mums story with you xxx

There needs to be uniform protocol for dog sitters. Dogs take many visits and give owner something with your scent for them to keep in the dogs safe space for at least a month, I know there's more. I didn't know these things either until someone informed me. You're doing amazing! We all have crap we need to get through, some more than others but know there's a lot of people on your side and know you're a warrior woman!
Hopefully those dogs were put down.
