I’m so sad to hear about your surgeon….how shocking and scary to hear. I’m glad he had an informed surgeon that knew your case. Very happy to hear of your tubes being removed, because great sleep is what will give you great healing. If you didn’t like your results at the end of your journey, are you able to still get a face transplant? I was just curious. I truly think it’s the last thing on your mind and can’t possibly fathom the thought of going thru an ordeal like that….again. You have come so far and I’m rooting for you the entire way!!!!!

How horrible of them to not even call you or send you some flowers, come see you, show some kind of remorse or concern. They knew those dogs were vicious. As an aspiring marine biologist with an intense passion for sharks, you and your story are absolutely inspiring. The fact that you have been able to not only keep your passion for dogs, but still wish to pursue your dream of working with and training dogs, is just amazing. People in my field of work who have been attacked by sharks have only had their love and appreciation of them strengthened, and, although I hope I never fall victim to an attack, I know that my adoration and protection of sharks will never stop.
