      I'm not saying they couldn't be guilty, bit the story and current facts doesn't make sense why the dogs attacked her, especially when the dogs have an easier prey than the girl.
      Either the owners were lying about not having problems, or something happened I'm that house and it triggered the dogs.
      Like the girl said, she's met the dogs and been with the dogs before, so it was really out of the ordinary for that to happen to her.

    • @shoosh222
      @shoosh222 2 года назад +19

      @@dontfall2476 not necessarily. Dogs usually consider the family members living in the home with them to be their “pack”. The dogs may have even growled at the children before, and dad (or whomever the dogs consider the “alpha”) may have so terrified the dogs with his reaction that they learned to leave the kids alone. All dogs will give a warning, such as growling, before they bite, unless they’ve been punished for it in the past. Also, dogs can exhibit aggression that owners either don’t recognize or ignore.
      That said, I’d bet money those dogs have shown aggression before that the owners are denying, or may actually never have even recognized. It’s definitely in their best interest to make their dogs out to be angels right now due to the lawsuit. If Jacqueline met the dogs before, it was most likely when visiting the family before she took on the dog-sitting job. The dogs probably barked at her initially, but the dad essentially ordered them to “leave it!” (her) alone.
      Many dogs bark when you arrive at a home, so it wouldn’t have kept Jacqueline from entering to do her job. Dogs can be aggressive when they feel frightened and for most bites, the motivation is fear. Dogs, by nature, are territorial and they guard something which they value highly, and they defend their favorite resting place. When she entered their home, the dogs might simply have been fearful of her getting close to them, or into their space. They probably had strong guarding tendencies, and resorted to biting because they perceived their home being intruded upon. Some dogs are highly territorial. Like with wolves, If a wolf who’s not part of a pack invades their territory, the resident wolves will attack and drive off the intruder. Some dogs display the same tendencies. They bark and charge at people or other animals encroaching on their home turf. Dogs will attack and bite an intruder, whether the intruder is friend or foe.
      Dogs can be their owner’s best buddy for ten years and one day suddenly attack them. It is vital to be able to recognize warning signs in your dog. There are many that owners may even consider cute.

    I'm confused how they didn't even pay any of her medical bills or anything. Or reached out. Those are their dogs and they're responsible if they attack someone unprovoked, especially when they nearly kill someone. I'm surprised the dogs haven't been put down to be honest, I've seen that stuff been done for far less.
    But the point is, if your dogs nearly kill someone completely unprovoked, that is your responsibility to bear. And a good dog owner would at the very least reach out and help the girl in any way they can, even if it's not financially possible. If this is how you react after your dog attacked someone, there's something wrong.

      This is the main reason I carry a loaded pistol on me at all times in the area that I live in. I am more worried about the stray dogs than any human being. I got my concealed carry permit for that very reason.
      It broke my heart when I had to shoot and kill a lose dog that was always getting out. I was really pissed off at the owners that I was forced to do that.
      I am not going to be held prisoner in my own home because of the dog issues. So we do what we gotta do.
      You might want to consider getting a permit and carry.
      Never had to ever deal with a human. But dogs yes. I still have nightmares about that dog. The way he ended up jerking around and flopping on the ground. I got a clean head shot and killed it instantly. However it made horrible sounds and the movements stick with me to this day.

      @Awareness Importance Wrong. There's a difference between DOMESTIC animals and WILD animals precisely in that regard, those that are considered domestic went through genetic, reproductive and behavioral transformations by selective breeding by humans throughout thousands of years. That doesn't mean, of course, they lost the capability of "being" animals, but they were literally bred to lose their wild traits. Meanwhile other wild animals didn't experience it and some species are in the process, that's why you can NEVER let your guard down with any animal, or person to that matter, that you don't know or trust. It goes both ways. There's also exceptions and a LOT of incorrect selective breeding that resulted in even more genetic damages that result in neurological issues, I.e. aggressiveness, or anatomically health issues, I.e. braquicephalic respiratory deficiencies.
      So, my point is: dogs aren't tigers or lions, and that's a fact proven by scientific methods, written in veterinary medicine books and doesn't have nothing to do with religion as well.

    • @wasajin
      @wasajin 2 года назад

      @@awarenessimportance444 Also, cats have WAY more wild traits than dogs, they are strict carnivorous, while dogs obtained their tutors omnivore diet. They behave a lot more independently, not requiring a human to obtain food or water, that's why they tend to have urinary tract health issues, they have an necessity for fresh running water, like in nature, to avoid getting sick and that's not the case with the bowl some tutors provide once a week for their cats. Cats don't form a blatant coexistence with humans, they are considered ACCIDENTAL domesticated, the opposite of dogs in that matter. That's also described in details in veterinarian literature that I recommend you to read.

      @Renaldo Palmer I completely disagree in saying that people are 100 times more important than animals. I am a huge animal advocate and I think animals are JUST AS important as humans. And I definitely do not feel like the dogs should be put down. We do not know what triggered them. I blame the owners of the dogs 100% the owners should have been aware of the aggressiveness of their dogs and made sure that the dogs either had proper training or whatever to ensure that an attack like this never even happened in the first place. That being said, I do agree with you that the police should’ve acted much quicker. Maybe they could’ve sedated the dogs rather than killed them but definitely something should’ve been done much quicker

Secondly we are more important than all living creatures as we have dominion over them but that's not to say they're not important and don't serve any purpose. Thirdly I'm not blaming the owners because if you listened to the interview this isn't the first time she was watching them, no matter how well trained a dog is they can will snap as I've seen it happen before although I must admit not very often but the fact that they're animals we should keep in mind that their animal instincts can and will takeover. Fourthly are you serious about sedating??? The dogs literally mauled the girl almost to death and you're talking about sedating you're really dumb as hell because if that was a 911 call about a man attacking a woman in that manner I'm sure that would be no questions asked shoot on site so think logical and not with your emotions.

    Pitts need to be BANNED!
    I’m a dog lover and I’ve met some nice Pitt bulls, I work with dogs as well. But Pitt bulls always give us a problem at work. More often than not we have kicked out Pitt bulls and their owners for them thinking their dogs are the sweetest creatures alive only to find out they’re aggressive and bite. One of our trainers almost got her arm ripped off because the owners lied about their pitt being a biter. I don’t blame the dog entirely since it’s kinda their nature, but it’s all on the owners who think they can handle it, but they can’t. Which far outweighs the good owners. These dogs either need to be completely banned or regulated somehow to ensure these dogs are trained and contained. Sadly that will probably never happen.
