If the race director was on the ball, they would have let all the cars through a lap earlier, and still started the race as it ended up happening. So I am not bothered by it. Red flag might have been the fairest but then is that a rolling start or from the grid? You can second guess all day long. It was unfortunate that the race had so much controversy, because it didn't need to.

The only reason Lewis was even close to max in points is because of mistakes he (at Silverstone) and his teammate (Bottas bowling) made that great effected max while leaving Hamilton completely uneffected.
So the 'human error champion' would have been Lewis until fate intervened. Best driver won the drivers championship, best car won constructors. All's well that ends well.
If you want to go down that route you could argue Max was gifted the Spa win and should have been penalised for driving standards on several occasions, including a disqualification in Saudi Arabia.
The point is they both rocked up to the final race level on points and the driver who should have won that race didn’t, but for reasons that shouldn’t have been allowed.
@@matthewcamina8508 Oké, lets go there: Spa was a 5 point advantage for Max over Lewis. Bottas bowling and Silverstone meanwhile were at least a 15 and 18 point advantage for Lewis respectively, even if we assume max would have only come second in both if he hasn't been damaged or been crashed out.
So even if we add a disqualification for max in Saudi Arabia (which only stemmed from frustration at Lewis passing when he should have), that's still a minimum 10 point lead for max, meaning second would have been enough to win the championship in the last race, despite getting a random flat tire which cost him a minimum of 18 points.
Then we can add all the rules that weren't enforced when Lewis broke them repeated at the start of the season, and that only started getting enforced once Redbull told max to copy Lewis.

Option two was the fair call. Option one the most exciting and a terrific showdown to the end of the season. Surly the F1 preferred solution with the FAI onboard too.The option chosen was a gift for Verstappen and RB and doesn't make sense. When something doesn't make sense it's because we don't have all the information. Was it incompetence or did MM's loyalty become blurry. Anyway, this sort of stuff sometimes comes out and often that happens when the benefiting team start to disintegrate over another issue!
Yes, the end of that season and multiple events during it were harsh and I think he was robbed. But Lewis made more than one personal mistake that year that actually cost him the title, break magic being the prime example :(

how did max deserved to win if Hamilton was robbed ? the season in question Max was running away with the championship till after the summer break. Lewis had to catch him up and win the last race of the season which he should of done. its the red bull fan boys that think he deserved it or won it fairly. anyone who is a fan of the sport knows who was the real winner and champion of 2021 was

Red Bull had a car 4 tenths faster that Mercedes announced in giving up development at the start of the season to focus on 2022.
Max violated the rules of engagement 8 times inclueing Silverstone, but ai only remember him receiving a 3 grid penalty.

Was GIFTED the championship in Abu Dhabi by the governing body who VIOLATED their OWN rules THREE TIMES in lap 57 to make LAP 58 happen.

The aftermath wasn't pleasant with Max hitting the barrier, but Lewis had every right to make the move, Max should have yielded and lived to fight again...
