  • In this short yet intensive Lebanese Arabic lesson you will learn the following conversation:
    My hair has grown a lot and it needs a cut because it has split ends. I will go tomorrow to the hairdresser and cut it. I am also thinking of making the color lighter, what do you think.
    I personally prefer it dark to be honest. But, if you feel like a change, why not? Change is good from time to time.
    You think so?
    The best tip I can give you at this stage is, always write down what you hear and repeat sentences and words out-loud. This is essential in memorizing new vocabulary and achieving fluency as well as native-like pronunciation. And remember, repetition is key!
    Enjoy your lesson :D

    Chaghig, you are just amazing! I'm a beginner but challenging myself with intermediate texts and i found a lot of gold in your videos. Thank you so much!
    I have a question here. Is it okay to write the expression "from time to time" as
    من وقت لوقت ؟
    The use of لا gets me confused here

      Thank you so much! Yes you are 100% right. If I wrote it as لا, that would be a typo!

    Hello! Another great lesson, as always! Do you use 7ella2 for a barbershop also? Or basically, does this refer to the place a woman would go to get her hair done or can it be the place for men to get a cut also? Thanks!

    • @GlobetrotwithArabic
      @GlobetrotwithArabic  3 года назад +1

      MadeIn619 Yes it's for both😊and actually, if you think about it, 7ellaa2 comes from verb 7ala2, which means to shave. So 7ella2 literally means "shaver" i.e. person who shaves, that's why it means hairdresser/barber.
