Its amazing how you can easily explain the rules of the language eg male female and why you would pronounce the ة. Your explanations of why you say something that way, really helps alot! 😁😁 You make alot more sense than my lebanese husband 🤣🤔 Merci kteer
Thank you, I wanted to learn this language for years but it have always been difficult (and I know it will keep being difficult) but it is dynamic explanation ✍🏻 and it’s not boring. 😁
I love your vlog lessons, you are a born teacher. I have been looking for a Lebanese-Arabic podcast wich stories in intermediate Lebanese Arabic and English context. Are you planning on doing something like this, too?
It's interesting how you call the knife sikkineh in feminine, I think it's more common in the masculine form as sekkin , or maybe that's just how we've always said it in my family hehe 🤔😳
Mar7aba estazza, I now know that Arabic adjectives have a masculine & feminine form in the singular, but is there are a mascuuline & feminine form in the plural? For example, if I have ten small knives, would I use the adjective 'kbiireen' to describe them? Shukran.
You're saying صغیر ه but to me it sounds like like you're pronouncing it as زغیره. Is it because you're speaking in the Lebanese dialect and not fus7a? Also, where in Lebanon are you from? Hope you don't mind me asking.
I knew Tanjara from my Teta! I knew it was a pot or a bowl. Thanks for all of the translations! 🇱🇧🇱🇧

We’ve learnt a lot in this video ! Thanks. By the way, can’t we say قطرميز as well as مرطبان ?
Vincent Darnis Thank you. We can but it's not commonly used in Lebanon. I've heard my grandma use it though, possibly cause of Turkish influence.
Globetrot with Arabic im turkish we say
“kavanoz”
@@smdmr82 mmm I wonder where the word comes from then...
Globetrot with Arabic sorry no idea
Thank you so much! I have a question is Lebanese different from Levantine?
Yup, Palestinian/jordanian sounds different, syrian sounds different
❤️
How do you say pan
مقلاية/me2lééyé🙂
مرحبا. في سوري اتكلم هكذا؟ او غير ؟
Both Lebanese and Syrian are Levantine Arabic, but with different accents.
Why are there numbers in the words?
I have a video that explains this. You’ll find it in my pronunciation playlist🥰

Big Bowl YES ITS true. It's a Lebanese pronunciation. I'm from Cornet el Hamra. A small village in mount lebanon.
