Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.

To make a real slip bobber that you can set depth glue 2 end caps on each end and run a piece of aerator hose 1/8th in out each end with gorilla glue and if u wanted you can fill the inside with foam.

It allows you to set the depth on which you want to present your bait for catching catfish of any species. It works really well presenting baits in heavy coverage where a bottom rig would get hung up..

How does do you adjust line length? How does this slip?

i connect the float to a sinker slide to allow it to slip. i use a mono shock leader that connects to my main line via double uni knot or a carrot knot this creates the stop for the float. i left a link to the video that explains it more in depth.
