Last week I bought a Tacoma TRD off-road (premium package) for out the door of $49,000. Sticker was $55,095. So far at 779 miles. No issues and no problems. The Chevy Colorado does look cool. Unfortunately I never got to test drive one. I do think this year GMC, Toyota, Ford, and Chevy got it right with the midsize trucks. I like the designs of all. They all look unique in their one way that sets it apart from others. Great video. :) 😁
Anyone notice how some detail how much they got their truck for out the door but fall short in letting you know where they got this deal from? Makes one wonder.
The new Tacoma looks cheap. Based off looks alone I’d go with the Colorado and I have a 3rd gen Tacoma. We’ll see how reliable these 4 cylinders are in a few years and maybe I’ll trade for something newer.
I just bought the 2024 tacoma trail hunter it is a torque beast 465 foot pounds of torque at only 1,700 rpms i love it but the price is a lot but I brought it
The Frontier is pretty much the way to go. UNLESS you want stealership-required maintenance, then get a run of the mill turbo 4, maintenance intensive, engine
The Colorado is a good looking truck and pretty proven engine and drivetrain. But gimmicky with the ruler tailgate and headlight controls in the touchscreen. KISS and put the light control back on the steering column stalks. Tacoma was designed in the US (from what I understand) and now we see the results. Heck the rear bench seats don't even stay folded up, they put in a strap with snaps to hold the bench seat up. WTF?
@ I was saying when you mentioned the different models of the Colorado you did not mention the Trail Boss. It’s definitely one of the best values in the Colorado. Good video!

Love the honesty. I agree
So roughly 10k off window sticker?
That's a great price you got, congrats on the new truck!

That's awesome, congrats on the new truck!
Fuck that, Nissian Frontier V6 is the way to go. Last real small truck.
I haven't gotten into the new Frontier yet, looking forward to it though.
Come on ...frontier is the same has a 2008 tacoma 😂
Tacoma all the way
Why the Tacoma over the Colorado?
@ dependability
Fourth gen Tacoma; hands down the best mid-sized truck. Not because of the unknown(s) of the new power plant but Toyota’s reputation overall.
Toyota’s reputation is with the naturally aspirated platforms. I’m honestly not very confident with the new i-Force Max.
Colorado > Tacoma.

Have fun with your frontier. You likely dont even own one
Nissan frontier is not in the competion anymore 😂
I haven't gotten to drive one yet, hopefully soon!
Watch out in that chevy those airbags can smack ya in the face unexpectedly 😂
There have been a lot of manufacture recalls for the airbags, including the Tacoma.

Yea, I don't understand that one either.
You forgot about the Colorado Trail Boss. 🤷🏼♂️
I didn't forget about it, I haven't reviewed it yet.

@jonbaniak9097 i got ya. I usually just give Base Price and Trim price of the one I am reviewing, but i will keep that in mind!
Neither get a Nissan Frontier Pro 4X….
Nissan frontier ....still stock in 2008
@ I’ll take the stock with the N/A V6 over a turbo 4 any day…
@@aspj5132 just try it .. its 3 time quicker then previous gen
No thanks 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Do you own one to make an honest opinion?
Neither or no to a Frontier?
Neither
What would you choose?
