I’m building my first PC once my house renovations are done and I’m so damn scared I’ll mess up something when I build it, so these videos are a godsend. Thanks for all your reliable videos Centric 🙏
There’s always something you need to work out just take time and work through it one thing at a time. I just built my pc and I am having various issues
Thanks for the tutorial, this will be very useful to me in the future. I just wanted to know where I can get a Windows key that does not present any future failures.
Literally uploaded 20mins after I spent 1.5 days trying to figure out what I had done wrong in my first build. Turns out I had to flash the bios before it would boot! Haha
Awesome tips. I like the idea of having a separate 'Games' folder but I wondered why GeForce Experience wasn't detecting my games. It's because GE is preset to scan the 'Program Files' directories and nothing else. Easy fix though - In GE, go to Settings > Games & Apps > Scan Location. Then add your Games directory and rescan.
Just got a pc with 32 gigz ram 6000hz i7 14700k and paired it with 4060ti for now after all the hard work of four years saving money through each and everyday hardships finally i have my own white fury build
Great video! However would like to add for the Asus ROG mobo users (could be others, this is just my own experience), you may run into issues selecting your WiFi network due to no drivers being available. Annoying but just search for installing WiFi/ethernet drivers in Windows install and it’ll show you how to install them via command prompt
For fan speed configuration, always set pump speed at Full Speed, cpu fan customize the curve for better performance depending on what are the thermals, and the rest of the fans set to Silent mode but monitoring the cpu and not motherboard. This way the air is circulating much better in the case and the cpu fan always has fresh air to cool the radiator. That's the best advice i can give for optimal thermal performance.
This is so helpful thank you very much I have a new pc I’m getting ready to build with a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 7900xtx. Im super excited to build my first pc.
Been watching your vids with interest. I've been more and more thinking about getting into PC gaming lately and I'll probably take the leap once the PS5 stops being supported. So seeing that setting it up is not such a daunting task has me a little more excited. Thanks!
Thanks for this. Did my first build 20 years ago, and been riding a desk since. About to get back into this hobby and build my second gaming rig! This has helped me a ton. I noticed you only installed graphics drivers. Do you usually not worry to get the drivers for motherboard?
how did it go? I just ordered my first pc been gaming on a laptop for a while and i am really scared to build my PC (if i can fuck things up i probably will fuck it up i am very clumsy)

Veteran PC builder who recently made a noob mistake: I built a computer around a Gigabyte motherboard. When I put in my USB drive with the Windows installer, the boot menu showed TWO new USB devices: one labeled "USB" and the other "USB something UEFI." Only the latter allowed me to install the OS. Choosing the former resulted in the installer claiming that my computer was not capable of running Windows 11.
I knew I recognised the BIOS interface on your NZXT Mobo, it is exactly the same as my ASRock B650m Pro RS, it took me about 3 weeks to work out that AMD EXPO wouldn’t simply jump out on me and that it is actually under the DRAM Confirguration, haven’t looked for re-size bar yet though, might have to give that a look
Hello just word of warning you might want to add to this video. I changed my bios setting after this for the resize bar and on reboot had a black screen. I could hear windows booting but no output and error light on motherboard. I had to take it my GPU so it defaulted to igpu then disable CSM then reboot and put GPU back in and out worked. Not sure if it's just my older gigabyte Aourus pro Z390 but if I didn't have a graphics chip on my motherboard, I would have had to reset bios. Thanks though for all the videos really enjoy them.
Thanks, Marcus. 👍🏼 (Nice haircut btw. 💈) A couple of points (general 'fyi' stuff really) for the masses: *1)* Windows Disk Cleanup often finds stuff to get rid of that *CCleaner* can't see (or doesn't care about; mostly update files, but other clutter as well). This is very useful when attempting to free up drive space. *2)* CAM is horribly inaccurate at reporting CPU temps for some reason (by up to 6 degrees - although it usually does just fine with the GPU temperature). I know this because I use CAM on this PC (built in an H210i) and I also keep HWiNFO64 running at all times, with my CPU/GPU temps displayed on my task bar. (I've also watched build/benchmarking videos wherein both CAM and HWiNFO were running at the same time, and noted similar CPU temperature discrepancies, so I'm pretty sure this isn't specific to my particular build). Cheers! 🤠
Do you do build reviews? I’m trying to build my first own pc and I’m not sure if my parts I’ve picked all work together or not. Side question: Can you update your motherboard bios without your cpu?
My Asus X370 crosshair vi hero died at the weekend, 1st one ever to die on me. So, as I was already looking at possible upgrades, instead of messing about swapping cpu's and gpu's I just ordered my upgrades and I'll do the testing at a later date. Msi gaming plus mobo 7800x3d. 7900xtx. 32gb Corsair vengeance ram. Thermaltake 1200W psu. Thermalright cooler. All going into my old but still faithful Corsair vengeance c70 case, in military green. The case will get a few mods within the next few months aswell.
I don't think it'd about perfect gaming, but after investing time and money into a build, you def want the best performance it can offer (and less headaches later on)
I ran into a problem when I upgraded my AMD 3800XT to a 5800X3D, in that It gave me errors around the TMP and BitLocker, I did get it sorted but a Vid on how to fix these issues or avoid it happening in the first place would be very welcome. Before I changed my CPU, no RUclips videos I watched mentioned anything about possible issues. All they told me it was a simple swap.
Hi, how did you learn all this things about computers?! I want to know more about PCs and how they work so I think I'll go to a school that gives me that kind of education, so I just wanted to know how you did it!
since I build my first PC I always use 3 Drives and will never go back.. So much more convenient and drive space is dirt cheap these days 1: Windows + Software 2: Games 3: Photos (I am a photographer so this one isnt really needed)
Bought the parts and will build it after deployment is over. Got myself the 4080 super and a ryzen 9 7900x because it was like 200 dollars off and well, why not since its price was the same as the lower powered options
If you're doing things by the book, yes you have to pay for Windows. Unofficially, you can run Windows 11 w/o paying for the license. You wont' be able to personalize your PC and a watermark appears. Other than that, everything works the same as if you paid for the license. You install Windows through a flash drive that has the Windows install files. You need a working Windows PC to create the USB installer OR if you can't use another computer, you buy a pre-built USB installer. it will be expensive though as you're mainly paying for the license.

not me watching this even though I don't have a gaming pc lol
You don’t have a gaming PC YET 😊
Exact right time to watch my friend, everyone watches this once they're in trouble which is not ideal.
Same, gonna get one soon 😊
Same haha
Start part by part man. It took me a year to slowly build mine. Got lucky here and there but it was worth the wait. 😆

Good luck it very easy building a gaming pc
Just take it slow, make sure everything’s installed well, and you’ll be fine
There’s always something you need to work out just take time and work through it one thing at a time. I just built my pc and I am having various issues
I'm kinda scared I was gonna build one but I might just get a pre built not to risk
dont rush anything and ur good bro stick to the tutorials slow and steady
Thanks for the tutorial, this will be very useful to me in the future. I just wanted to know where I can get a Windows key that does not present any future failures.
My last option was BNH Software and I think it is the best so far because it was very effective for me.
Thanks, I'll make a list to have more options.
Before you get a Windows install screen you may need to go to the BIOS ( start and hold DEL button ) to set up booting from the flash drive.
yeah that's kinda the first thing you should do before installing windows....check that my computer recognizes all the stuff i installed
Perfect timing for me with your video. Just finished my build two days ago!
Me too
