- The Celestial Saber is a Class C Starship constructed using only Nova Galactic Parts. The ship is equal parts explorer ship, capable of carrying you and your crew to any planet you wish to explore, and a formidable fighter in case you get into any trouble with those Crimson Fleet pirates.
Cost to build $465k credits (not including the base ship).
Requirements:
Level 60+
Piloting Skill Rank 4
Starship Design Skill Rank 4
This build relies on the parts glitch technique. This is explained in the video for both PC and Xbox. Игры
Gotta say this is one of my favorite ships. It's actually very graceful
Glad you like it . I am working on updating the design a bit
Love the channel. One of the favorites
Well done again! Man you're talented! I'm trying to learn all I can from you!
I appreciate that!
Congrats! That tip with the portholes to block ladders earns you my sub. Hope it works with equipment plates as well as I'd prefer not having a porthole looking at a hab. Either way, thanks for that
Thanks for the sub! And it does work with equipment plates as well, when you can use them.
@@TeamScorpioRI Does not always work with equipment plates, as I discovered.
Depends a lot on the orientation of the modules, or for if there is already a ladder generated by the deck below..
@@IceBoNeZ Interesting... I know the ladders don't like to generate in specific spots. I wonder if that has something to do with it.
I tried forcing the ladder in the middle of this build during mockup (so right side of the battle station). I capped off the other portholes and assembled the ship. For some reason, it would not generate any ladders to the upper deck. What was weird is I didn't get any "landing bay is not connected to the bridge" errors. I almost kept it and labeled the build as "no ladders" as a joke.
@@TeamScorpioRI I actually never thought of trying to force ladder spawns, I'll have to do some experimenting on some of my ships..😄
Like the simple yet elegant feel to it and the way you made it accessible for Brand new players! Id have kept it factory colors though especially since you limited yourself to a single factory 😂 And 3 Front Portholes one in front, 2 more up on the Capts Quarters and symmetrical spot on the opposite side ❤❤❤
I wanted to add the front porthole, but unfortunately it broke the max length allowed allowed for ships (40m). The other portholes are a good option. I am definitely going to do a part 2 to this design using mixed manufacturers.. I'll add these elements to the consideration.
As for the color, the factory colors are always just bland. I like a little more spice.
Nice it looks good!
I can't stand those gaps either, filling them in looks a lot better.
I definitely want to do an MK II version of this ship. I think different hab modules and some stroud caps would suit it well.
@@TeamScorpioRI absolutely.
If you do you plan to post it?
I'll definitely be posting it. I want to get through the next couple build ideas first. Next one is a Star Wars inspired build (but not the usual ships that have been done over and over.. this one is going to be a little different), then I want a crack at the Taiyo and Stroud only builds. Taiyo is going to be tough as they are mostly habs. Stroud I think I am doing a fast fighter style ship.
@TeamScorpioRI nice alright
And ya an all Taiyo build, you might have to empty your minds and just think simple and start with the first idea and maybe it'll all come to you.
The shape reminds me of Luke's land speeder from starwars a new hope. I'd swap out some of the small cowlings for the 100L fuel tanks that have the same shape and swap the all in 1 berth for the living quarters so my crew have beds.
Sweet build tho
It does have that shape to it, now that you mention it. I am definitely going to do a second version of this ship with some cross manufacturer parts. Not a fan of the Nova Hab shapes, and I can see using some of the Stroud cowlings for the fillers.
Lotsa habbs habs abs
Nova is my favorite
I like some of the nova pieces... best landing gears in the game... the hab shapes are a little challenging though. Those rounded edges bug me
Im almost surprised people still play this. I guess new people will keep finding it. Nice ship, though.
New people are always filtering into the game, and they are coming in at a steady pace too. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those "slow burn" types of games where people will continually dip in and out of it, and it will spike when they put out patches or DLCs. Mods will also help, once the creation kit lands.
Why would you be surprised?
It's missing a nose porthole!
I tried. I wanted one too, but the ship is actually max length. Even something as small as a porthole on the front made it break that length. I wish there was something that you could attach to the end that was flush with the hab, so we could cap off parts and hook points without adding length or width.
@@TeamScorpioRI that sux. on another note, I'd love to see whatyou do with only DerreTech parts. It is a mod, and I get that you probably want to keep these builds possible for as many people as possible, but I think the challenge will be fun.
@@dcolodny I have looked into the DerreTech mod. Probably the best of the new ship parts. I may do that one day.
