It's pretty damned impressive if you ask me. You guys hit the wow points: surprisingly good driving dynamics for a 9K pound tall brick, acceleration and torque most people will never dive deep into, incredible off-road performance for such a huge and heavy beast. The TFL guys have highlighted the downsides: price, size in a parking lot, air suspension reliability offroad, weird tech glitches (dying on the road after power cycling), etc. New tech always has bugs, and this thing is packed with new tech.

@@garrettmckinney Absolutely. The TFL problems were with the truck tech. Hopefully, GM figures things out and issues TSBs and replacements where necessary. That is always the risk with a first gen of any tech or vehicle.

I like the concept of this rig but, I’m not that impressed with the execution. Like some other manufacturers they just glue a tablet onto the dash and call it good. Zero attempts at flowing the rectangles into the dash or designing the dash around the screens.
The A pillars are massive and create huge blind spots.
Who knows if the rear door can actually hold the spare tire for any length of time let alone a 37” or larger tire without destroying the rear door or hinges.
It took Jeep over 70 years to reduce body, door/ hinge issues with a stock tire!
The body style isn’t reminiscent of the H2 or H3 it looks more like the last gen of FJ Cruiser.
Did I mention over $100,000 for a look at me ride!
Lastly, what was that chime going off while playing in the mud?
    Stay safe and healthy!
    Ron
Ps; I didn’t hear the TFL boys or anyone else asking the GM engineers if any of the software issues were fixed in the SUV models that popped up in the p/u versions?

lol, after all the humiliation from TFL they decided to keep this review under much tighter control. lol - Yes, it did well today. - But they don't get a pass. We all saw that thing struggle off road. It was a joke. - It's weight is a massive issue when off-roading. I'd also be curious to see how it does in breaking. Wonder how many of them they had in reserve so they could swap out when suspension wouldn't rise or it just decided to die like it did for TFL. - As I said before, if one was given to me for free, I'd sell it. - I'll keep my Rebel thanks.

Anytime anything goes wrong with this vehicle, or any electric vehicle, you have to take it to a dealer to fix with their "proprietary" software that only they have. Not only will it have more issues, not last, cost too much, track everything you do, everywhere you go, need a battery replacement costing ten of thousands of dollars, your a slave to whatever a dealer decides they want to charge you and you can't fix anything yourself. I can't wait for this electric fad to end and new technologies to emerge.

My previous employer had a hummer, and the seats felt uncomfortable, and back seats were cramped. The interior of a square body Chev is spacious and plush compared to a Hummer. Every time I see a hummer on the road, the driver is always driving on the lane divider because either they can't drive or they think they are entitled to drive in two lanes at once. Even the Ram TRX and Ford Raptor have mechanical problems and glitches. I saw some "Kibbetech" videos where he was building parts to fix problems with the stock suspensions that are prone to breaking or binding on the TRX and Raptor if the owners take them offroad. I saw a review of the electric Hummer on "Engineering Explained" and I understand that GM put a lot of technology into this truck, perhaps for testing or to make GM look like a company that can produce high tech vehicles. In a "TFL" video about the best selling trucks of 2022 it seems like GM is focused on their Denali and heavy duty trucks. Now with the Hummer EV it seems like their priorities are to build vehicles for wealthy people in an attempt to turn GM into a luxury brand like Mercedes, Land Rover, etc. As for the color of the Hummer, it looks boring to me. I find all of the GM colors boring because I used to read "MiniTruckin" magazine and am used to paint jobs with metal flake that really grab your attention.
