I’m in the ballot for a gen 2. The price hike has put me off a bit , like both special editions but the extra money is a bit strong for the seemingly small difference . Let’s see,
Ever since i discovered the Yaris, I want to own one. Seems to be so much fun in those cars. Especially with the gearbox upgrades you can do. Who doesnt want to own a fun and nimble rally car?
Manuals are amazing. But if you use TrackMaster, and see how long you coast when changing gears, you understand why the PDK-type cars are so much quicker to accelerate. But who cares? The Manual is so much better and more fun to use!
You are just missing the Japan only GR Yaris RS. It looks like the first one but it has a 1.5L naturaly aspirated engine with an automatic sports CVT gearbox and it’s FWD.👍
I still don't understand how other motoring journalists are getting 0-60 times of 4.6 seconds from the gen 1 Circuit Pack, yet any videos made in conjunction with Toyota can't seem to achieve that time anymore since the new variants came out? Anyway, if you own a gen 1, it's much cheaper to just remap than pay over 10k more for a new car.

They phoned all around England and Ireland for every specialist including Toyota themselves (no part availability). Had to write it off for £35k. More than what I paid mind but I'd have the car any day. Gutted.
Insured via Greenlight for what its worth, was hoping I'd have had a better go with them. They've been great for my cars in the past.
Dream car, at an affordable price. I wouldn't want anything else frankly if I had all the money in the world to choose. Except maybe one of these new revised beasts! lol. I'm not a wealthy guy though, just on a software engineers salary in an area of the country where it's modest at best. Back to driving wee Mini's, always had a love for them (say what you will! :P those who get it get it). Got myself a last model year R53 supercharged Cooper S. Bags of fun but it's no GRY.
Welcome to Japan!🎉
I’m in the ballot for a gen 2. The price hike has put me off a bit , like both special editions but the extra money is a bit strong for the seemingly small difference . Let’s see,
This video is sponsored by TOYOTA.
And it was great.
Ever since i discovered the Yaris, I want to own one. Seems to be so much fun in those cars. Especially with the gearbox upgrades you can do.
Who doesnt want to own a fun and nimble rally car?
Bro you should do a Land Cruiser from Pakistan
Why Pakistan?
Because the Pakistan ones are really cool aswell
Choice bro
1st gen GR Yaris seemed the best ...also for price/what you get ratio.
Welcome to Japan, Mat!
Manuals are amazing. But if you use TrackMaster, and see how long you coast when changing gears, you understand why the PDK-type cars are so much quicker to accelerate.
But who cares? The Manual is so much better and more fun to use!
Love their energy 😂 you don’t see that with the Germans 9:35
Toyota is so cool nowadays, having a driving mode dedicated to the chairman is something else.
One of best videos on this channel
Love Toyotaaa ❤
The EU has ruined access to great cars in the UK, only 200 available due to emissions from that tiny engine, a bleak future for petrol heads.
The review of Nurburgring's Sleeper has arrived! ❤
I drove the first one this year while attending a drift workshop. It was so much fun that I definitely wanted to buy this car. Maybe some day...
Matt, I'm waving at you every once in a while. But you're the master of it. Set up a party and I'll vote. 😂
This was an epic watch. Thanks guys!
You are just missing the Japan only GR Yaris RS. It looks like the first one but it has a 1.5L naturaly aspirated engine with an automatic sports CVT gearbox and it’s FWD.👍
This video is for the serious cars.
Ewww FWD CVT eewwww😢
I still don't understand how other motoring journalists are getting 0-60 times of 4.6 seconds from the gen 1 Circuit Pack, yet any videos made in conjunction with Toyota can't seem to achieve that time anymore since the new variants came out? Anyway, if you own a gen 1, it's much cheaper to just remap than pay over 10k more for a new car.
Great indepth video it's nice seeing the improvements.
I registered for the ballot, just have to wait and see what happens now to see if i can upgrade to the Gen 2 GR Yaris.
What I'd give to see the entirety of the laps instead of a dozen 3 second jump cuts...
