I feel very numb in that bulge. I told the doctor about this. But the doctor said please try to wear a very tight underwear. I dont know if it's a successful surgery or failed surgery? What should i do now? Please help me!
Just go to another Dr to get a second opinion. Ask to have an MRI or a cat scan done to make sure your intestines have not come through the abdominal wall again. Hopefully, it’s just swelling from the surgery and fluid build up which they say will go away on its own. If you had a cat scan or a MRI done initially, ask the 1st Dr or the 2nd Doctor to show you the 1st scans and the more recent ones so you can see the difference. I hope everything works out for you. Thank you Dr, I got better advice from you than my Dr. I didn't realize I need aftercare post surgery, my Dr has terrible bedside manners, didn't tell me none of this.
Depends on the hospital and surgeon. If you are looking for a General Surgeon in a small hospital cost comes below 50k. A year back I did my surgery and the cost came around 1.10 Lakh
what's considered "heavy" weights?. My doc told me anything under 30lb after 2 weeks then gradually increase each week.... You're suggesting 3 months before heavy weights... you talking like a 200+lb bench press?

Sir i have one question? Mesh complications is really hype on internet it's true??
Its done all over the world , mesh complications are very very less , depending on the surgeon skills.
Maybe less than 1% complications with mesh but one old doctor passed too much negativity about mesh usage.
