You seem like such a nice woman; someone I'd like to know. I kind of chuckled when you said "I'm trying not to scratch my pans" because I'm trying to remember the same thing lol. I was holding my breath earlier (lol) in your video when you were using the fork, I was surprised that you were using it. That looks delicious! I would have never thought to boil the cabbage first or to use Red Wine vinegar which I like too; I've never put any kind of vinegar in fried cabbage. I am also a butter person as well; no margarine for me either! I grew up with just frying cabbage using garlic and onion powder and using it as a side vegetable. I've only cooked cabbage with potatoes, onions, and sausage once and liked it a lot. I will definitely try this recipe. Thank you for posting!

Thank you very much for the kind comment. I grew up eating Cabbage this way and my mom only used butter in our house, she always said butter makes it better. Tha Red Wine Vinegar gives it such a unique flavor you're going to love. Thanks for watching, I post new videos 3 times a week, stay tuned.

How long does it take potatoes to cook it seems like you should steam them first so they cook quicker

    • @flavorstwisters

Hi Andrew, It was not necessary, if you don't cut them too thick, they will be done at the same time. But using this recipe, if you are more comfortable steaming them first add them to the pot with the cabbage when you wilt it down.
