As a woman, i can & have done a few of these. Come to find out, you should only encourage him to hang with his boys, or take a weekend fishing trip when he is honest n faithful. I bought him a new outfit, fed him, n told him to have fun & be safe on his way to play pool with the guys. Come to find out he had started a whole other relationship, with step kids n more

Unfortunately, many of us both men and women go into relationships being our best selves in giving our partner the benefit of the doubt and they take our kindness for granted and see it as weakness. These tips are great for people who are already married, but for those who are dating it is an entirely different ball game

This is a list of what all couples should be doing fir EACH OTHER. So many of us ladies have been in situations where we did all of these things, and we were still taken for granted, cheated on, or flat-out abused. I wish this had been framed differently.

I have done all of these things, but it was one-sided relationship. If it was a true partnership instead of archaic beliefs on the man's part, then all of these are great.

I tried to be this partner for my ex-boyfriend and encourage those things in our relationship. But since many of them are rather subtile I always felt like they were overlooked and ignored. Maybe we weren´t speaking the same love language.

Oh wow. Everything is about the man. Got it. So, if I am doing a task…like having a full time job, working, keeping a roof over our heads while he maybe picks up work here or there…should he come into my office and quietly sit by my side, put his head on my shoulder, gently hold my hand, bring me my favorite snack? And when I say I am tired after a long day of work and want to go hang out with the girls, he needs to be supportive and show genuine interest and let me go be with the girls at the bar while he stays home and folds the laundry (oh, wait…he doesn’t do that)…and just be content that I know nothing of his friends, his life, his needs, his emotions…he is just a prop and tool in a world that completely revolves around me. Oh. Darn it. Did it again. I should stay in my lane, keep my mouth shut, my head down, and happily enjoy my fate as a tool and prop for THE MAN. Hehehe. Silly me. After all, I am a woman, which means I am completely daft. I can’t help it. With all my fainting and the vapors and my uterus detaching itself and running around my womb causing havoc on my mental health and my poor husband’s ability to enjoy his scotch and evening paper.
