Have to laugh - communication! Most men I know, amd my own husband, simply does not “communicate “. They punish you by growing silent and doing the silent treatment thing for days. If you dare to question them about anything that makes them uncomfortable, they either grow deadly silent or else they fudge and change the subject, avoid the topics completely. You are a BAD GIRL to challenge them!! Putting her “ in her place” becomes far more important. Women tend to be far more wordy and communicative. Maybe not effectively, but they don’t do the silent punitive thing.
