I do not own any of the rights to Attack on Titan. - Игры
You troll, I was about to scream that you missed the ending scene 😂
Me too
Couldn‘t help myself 😂
5:20 The rank and file soldiers are a mix of Eldians and other conquered nations.
I, too, was very nervous when Willy Tybur mentioned the 'final solution' to the Eldian problem...
3:30 It's never stated outright, but you can obviously deduce why they would have a lot of children...
Oof yeah never thought of that. Also probably the reason why the Reiss had quite a few as well
22:40 - I think its because the guards know them. They probably see them every day. Its the old "I'm not racist I have this one friend who's a black guy" deal. Because they seem them every single day and have spoken to them on many occasions, they don't see them as eldian as much as just some good kids now.
Now obviously the whole child soldier thing is a bit messed up but again, learned behaviour. We think its abhorrent because we know better, but for them its always been a thing so they don't question it. And they don't understand the horrors of war because all they ever get exposed to is the glory posting in the newspapers, so it doesn't seem like it some terrible place for a kid to be.
24:30 - Eldian oppression isn't a Marley unique trait. They are feared and hated on a global level. Because well, they can turn into titans. Thats kind of scary. What his saying is that in Marley, Eldians are treated better then in other places. Which is.. horrifying yet also make sense. In Marley, Eldians actually serve a purpose, since they have control of the shifters and can use the titan powers to increase thier military strength. In other nations, they don't have that, so all the Eldians are to them are monsters that can become titans.
28:30 - Grice was part of the group with Grisha that was sent to Paradis (I think the guy in the doctors that first introduced Grisha to the group was a Grice). Colt and Falco (and thier mother/father its not clear which) were related, and so suffered in the aftermath. Its only when Colt was nominated to become the successor to the beast titan that his family stopped getting such harsh treatment.
34:40 - Yeah.... quasi painter german leaders speaking about solutions... tends to be very concerning!
Around 34:29. Did you catch that? Other translations are a little more explicit. But they seem, i think, purposeful in their use of the word "solution" with regards to the "problem" they have with this group of people. Isayama tends to do everything for a reason so I'd imagine this is intentional. I've seen other translations go so far as to translate it as "a solution to the Eldian problem". But that may have been the translators making the subtext clear
Slightly earlier than usual time but we take those. Can't wait for that block of episodes next.
#Ruthless
Yeah, starting from next ep it is gonna be a sh€tshow in the best way 😅
24:19 what it means is that as bad and terrible as the hatred of eldians you've seen in marley is, it's worse outside marley...meaning marley is the tip of the ice berg for how hated eldians really are all over the world.
Also...willy isn't royal.. he's just the current head of the tybur family which somehow managed to kick the great king fritz out during the war...so willy even though he's eldian, is loved by all both marley and abroad
I think there are Marlian soldiers, just most Marlian people dont involve in war. It is common in big countries. For example ,Most American people read Iraq War news in newspapers.
I agree with you here my friend
Your tangents brighten my week
I am glad they do :)
21:57 The families are only honorary Marleyans while a warrior is alive. Zeke, Reiner, Pieck, and Annie are all on their last year. Next episode has a conversation between Reiner's mom and Annie's dad about Bertholdt's dad (Mr. Hoover) who had been sick and receiving medication thanks to his son's warrior status. When Marley learned Bertholdt had been eaten, they threw the dad out of Honorary Marleyan status and left him to die from his illness.
Before anyone screams at me for spoiling: on the RUclips livestream of the Season 3 finale storieswithstyle mentioned he was already on 4x7 so he's probably almost done with Part 1 by now.
I mean, it’s still spoiler for those 1st time watcher who only watch via youtube
Which is kinda dumb because 1st time watcher shouldn’t watch a reaction lol
How do we know that? Where was it ever said that families lose honorary Marleyan status when their warrior family member dies? Was it stated anywhere that Mr. Hoover died because he was no longer an Honorary Marleyan and couldn’t access better medicines? I think Pieck outright spoke about how she wants her dad to live a good life as an honorary Marleyan after she dies.
Hizuru = Japan, she's Asian. I don't blame you for missing it but the fact every character in the show has been 99% European up until recently and that Attack on Titan is a Japanese anime might have thrown you off but it is relevant.
Yes, that becomes clear only after the flashback, though:)
@@storieswithstyle Yeah, but the name and her design, along with the fact that she's wearing a kimono can also give it away.
The flashback leaves no doubt, though
37:36 ahahah i like how happy and excited you are for the show. love the reaction and thoughts shared
It is really dark but when I rewatch these scenes to see how Kruger is looking at Dr. Jaeger I think I see a bit of pity in him, which I didn't pick up on the first time I watched.
Yes, he definitely felt pity. I mean, eren and grisha were „close to the present“ hosts, so there is double a reason for Kruger to visit him
Oh cool, another episode on an early schedule. Love it!
Great reaction the build up was absolutely immense can’t wait for your commentary and thoughts on the next episode!
It's pretty genius for the guards to be more familiar and friendly with the warrior candidates. It gives the kiddos a taste of the difference in treatment between regular Eldians and 'almost honorary Marleyans'. That's without the red armband. Whether they are supposed to treat the candidates like that or they've just become accustomed to them and warmed up on their own, I don't know - but it works for the Marleyan agenda either way.
Maybe but they are just kids afterall, and there are people who are willing to look past that they're similar from their ancestors
@@aurorapaisley7453exactly, i think it’s Isayama’s way to tell the audience that there’s good people inside and outside the walls, that there’s normal people everywhere.
I agree with you here my friend l fell şad for kids here they care for them
@@jesusrivas9414l agree with you here
@@jesusrivas9414 There's more to it which will be detailed a bit in future episodes but Eldian strays like the ones in internment zones have been having their reputations slowly rehabilitated. In episode 4x6 it is stated outright but it is easily missed.
Gabi wants the Armoured Titan so she can inherit Reiner’s memories and, in a way, keep him alive 😭
Gabi inheriting Reiner's experience of hell being forced to genocide regular people 😢
I don't think that's her reason, seems like she just wants to punish the devils
Try being a warrior candidate today! Why just gain PTSD from battle when you can do that AND inherit it?
Yes your ritht here l fell şad for her and Rinier
Wow, that was anleine she had? Def need to read the manga!
The officers and commanders in the Marleyan army are all Marleyan, like the fat guy and the generals in the first episode. No way eldians would be in charge of anything
Pieck is talking about the old 4 kids
Yeah, at first I thought she was, but when they shadowed the „now“ kids, I was confused 😂
@@storieswithstyle she's talking about both. Using the new kids to highlight what happened in the past
I don't agree with you about the guards. Kruger was not a gate guard, these guards were assigned by higher ups there and probably started having sympathy for Eldians being people working so close to them and talking to the kids warrior every day they left for training, even though they still do the job ou controlling who comes in and out, which ends up being important for their protection as we seen with Faye and Grisha. Warrior candidates just have free pass to train and probably Marleyans just ignore and don't mess with them.
Yes, you are correct! I think I noticed later :D
u got me with that "sike" lol
I'd make a little adjustment to what you said at 11:45. Many people want the world to change for them, but they do not want to change the world. That would require work and sacrifice. Much easier to complain about some injustice, and expect it to fix itself to appease you. Or worse, expect somebody ELSE to fix whatever you are complaining about.
I can think of quite a few people who are currently doing the latter.
Yeah, it is easy to criticize stuff from a cozy chair. I mean, I also do it😅I still think that real positive constructive actions are the way to go
@@storieswithstyle I'd say the difference between your way of doing it and the way certain other people are doing it, is in the substance.
What they are saying is basically just "this needs to change because I personally don't like it".
What you are saying is much more "this is bad and here's the reasons why it is bad", and then you describe in detail several different aspects of the matter.
Your way of doing it is much better IMO, because it can potentially make people understand the core issues of the matter.
And nobody can change anything for the better if they don't understand it.
nobel prize for literature !
For Isayama
Yeah would have actually been a candidate. I think manga are not ellogble, unfortunately:(
Hey there again!! always happy to see you!
What did you think Eren was trying here? Did you expect what's coming next?
This one may be an unusual question but what's your opinion on Magath? I love how grey marleyan characters are.
Another opinion I have is that I wish to have known better the tyburr family. They barely appear and everytime Willy talks I love how well written he is. Needed him more.
also don't like his sister has barely nothing to offer, just warhammer. I think if they chose her must be a good reason to, I needed to care about her.
I really like how an Eldian family rules Marley, the empire that made them fall and the biggest in the world. After all this thousands of years they's still keeping the power. Like the roman empire Eldian didn't fade, just changed.
That artistic german message sounds quite close to "Sie sind das essen und vir sie die jeager" from the first opening (sorry if I misspelled) and I think this story is going that path and is also a pretty corrupt way to justify war.
I was happy to see a moment between Eren and his grandfather, I'm just sad about how broken that family is because of war.
And finally I love the relationship between the kids and the warriors. Loved reiner a lot during this time we spent knowing them all. Fell in love with pieck so badly and the kids are amazing characters. I needed this to be ready for what's coming, the way this season begining is written is extremelly good.
That's all for today
Currently on 4x17 and really start to like maegath because I think he wants to break the cycle. I also think hybrid were a bit too quick, especially the sister that basically only was the titan. Interesting fact about the German message: it was a lie. The polish did not shoot at them, so it was a propaganda lie that started the eastern campaign :( the kids and warriors is pretty well done, but also really heavy and dark. Especially where it goes. Also, it is not only wren, but also grisha within wren that goes back to the father/grandfather. :(
Pieck? Creepy?! I think you mean hot 🤤
Bruh lol. Her being on all fours is...something else to imagine!
Falco doing gods work these last few episodes
Lol...eren didn't gaslight him...eren was actually happy that he might not get the titan he said you're a good kid I hope you live long.
But then he understood why falco was so motivated to get it cos obviously its a girl he likes
the real villain eren has arrived
EREN loook badass here l agree withyou here my friend have nice day❤
I would not call it eren anymore 😂
18:38 I see no grinch. All I see is gyatt
Saludos 💪
Hi there 💪
So cool that u caught that the old man was eren's grandfather
In relation to how distant Marleyans are from war, yet are happy to celebrate the war victories of their nation: it reminds me of the ultra-orthodox/Haredi Israelis refusing to serve in the IDF during the current war in Gaza because they only want to see the success of their army from a distance. Both Marley and Israel are colonial states, both use walls to subjugate people they see as pests (walls around Gaza and separation of Palestinian houses from settler-colonial settlements in the West Bank). Both absorb people they consider as enemies and treat them as second-class citizens (Arab Israelis who were formerly Palestinians). Both self-victimise based on past atrocities that occured to their nations respectively, and use that self-victimisation as a shield from criticism and in turn, subjugate others. Both are fascist states (Zionism in practice as a fascist ideology given ethnic cleansing and displacement of Palestinians as necessary for the creation of the state of Israel). The parallels...
That's it guys , the "boring" parts are over only straight fire from here on :D
what do you mean these episodes are amazing
@@tx6723 That is why I put it in quotes my man : )
