70's Classic Television Goofs

- See goofs from your favorite classic television series of the 70's like the Dukes of Hazzard, Wonder Woman, The Incredible Hulk, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Amazing Spider-man. As entertaining as these series were they did have the occasional technical goof which has become more evident with today's high definition television sets and DVDs.
With the 1970's TV images enlarged as they are now strings, crew members, and other wild things can be seen where no one would have likely noticed before. Some of these goofs and bloopers you may have seen a million times and never knew they were there.
The Six Million Dollar Man television series starred Lee Majors as Steve Austin. You can get the full series at Amazon here and help support this channel at the same time. - amzn.to/3YR49sq

I was born in 1965. The 70's was the best decade for childrens tv programming. Saturday morning cartoons, brady bunch partridge family, to all the truck driving shows, mash. It simply was the best. Wide world of sports was on sundays.
Respectfully, I must disagree. I was born in 81 and the 80s through early 90s had it beat. Not only did we get all the repeats of the 70s shows, we also got the best era of kids cartoons of all time, as well as the cool start of the 90s with Nikleodeon, Cartoon Network.
@@andrewbarratt7736 nope, we got all the sid and Marty kroft shows to.
Nah 70s has everything the best movies the best music everything.
I was born in 1957 and yes the 70s were the best for cartoons and television in general
Wake-up Saturday morning get biggest bowl of cereal and be entertained entertained
@@kennethscott-et4tw what was really cool and nostalgic is I was born in Chicago, central time. So starting right after school was kids time for the whole weekend. Off school, Brady bunch, partridge family, love American style, sleep, wake up 6 am to watch three stooges, then all the cartoons etc etc
I was born in 1970 and I watched both The Six Million Man and The Incredible Hulk when I was between 5 and 7. I loved all these shows and I would always cry at the end of an episode of The Incredible Hulk when Banner is walking along the road trying to hitch a ride and I would start crying...because no one ever stopped to give him a ride. The best years of my life...
Yeah, they really knew how to make you sad back then, but then they could make you laugh as well. The theme at the end is probably the saddest music ever made.
I think it's called the lonely man
SAME!! I really felt bad for David at the end. Always trying to help. I never did understand why David was running away from a................reporter. That was kind of dumb and the Hulk's death was probably the dumbest death of any major Marvel character on tv. Really? A fall from a plane?
Remember kung fu? That was early 70's
I used to Walk to school with that theme in my head...lol
Love these shows when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s. Never noticed any of the goofs. As a kid I just sat down and enjoyed the show. 100% entertainment.
As kids, we weren't looking for goofs.
Still better than anything nowadays, I was born in 1976 to me the 70’s and 80’s had the best tv shows thank you from South Australia 🇦🇺
Seriously, better than anything nowadays? , better than breaking bad , stranger things , the office etc , I could go on for ever ,I’m 53 I grew up on this bullshit 70s TV , it was all we had but nostalgia doesn’t make it better than things that have been made since
Yeah they were pretty terrible.
@Valley Robot The shows he's mentioned came out quite decades ago. Hes referring to the woke nonsense they produce today. And i'm fifty-five and agree with him
Great year 1976 I ventured into the to. Anyone remember that funny bizarre show on ABC channel 2 which was one of 3 stations we had Monkey Magic with 🐒 and piggies 🐷 with there samurai skills and flying around on a cloud😆
@@valley_robot 😂😂😂😂😂facts
I was born in 1972, and many of the shows were my favorite 😍
Wow, me too.
@@jamalbenthall151 Me three !!!!!!!!
I’m actually working on my screenplay that could be a comic book or a fan movie where the heroes of Marvel, DC young television work together to take on a major terrorist group
I was born in 1973 and I agree with you 💯 % broham.
Me too. Best time to be born and grow up
I was born in 78 and all of these shows I loved on reruns in the 80s. Spider-Man especially. I thought him climbing all over his house was amazing as a 6 year old but looking at it now i can’t see how I thought it was real. I still think his climbing up the outside of the sky scrapers is pretty cool even now.
Six million dollar man. Wonder woman. Space 1999. Battlestar Galactica. Buck Rodgers. My top shows in the 70's. Now I feel old. Damn it!
Back in the 1970’s, the viewer had to use their imagination to make the scene work. (Something that doesn’t happen today) The show would give you a good idea of what it was about but you mentally had to “work” with the show and BELIEVE in the scene!! In many ways, this makes for a superior result in the audience resulting impression and admiration of their hero!
“I’ve always suspected The General could heal itself…”
IKR??? 😂
I was born in 76 but didn't find these shows until reruns came around but boy am I glad they did. The Incredible Hulk and The Dukes Of Hazzard have my heart. Love these bloopers.
I was born in 1963,and the 70's and 80's were my growing up years. I loved these two decades because of the great shows on the tv and the music.
Born in 1961, and yes the '60's & '70's were the BEST two decades to grow up in!!!! Miss those days!!!!
Clean your glasses lol .
Can't beat the 70's man when it came to TV.
Born in 68....and yes..the 70's was a great time for kids tv
Even as an 8 year old kid back watching the Dukes of Hazzard I noticed how wrecked the General was as soon as it landed, compared to the next shot when it was suddenly fixed again. I had no idea about cars, car crashes or general physics to know how it 'should' have worked. It just stood out to me at the time
trust me.. as a young boy back then, we were watching wonder woman for a couple of reasons 😂
I just turned 50 this week on July 4th, 2023. Your channel celebrates all of the TV shows that I loved when I was growing up!! Subscription added!! 🖖🏼🎯🔥
Awesome! Thanks!
These goofs are too funny. I've never noticed those Dukes of Hazzard goofs and I watched the Duke Boys all of the time!!!
I was looking at the thumbnail and was thinking how cool it would have been to have a Six Million Dollar Man, Hulk, and Wonder Woman crossover movie.
Here in the UK, the 70s was a great time to watch all the imported US sci-fi, detective and action shows. I remember them all with great affection. I'm wary of going back to them on dvd in case the older, more cynical me finds fault in them. The younger me just enjoyed them
.... and they weren't even dubbed or subtitled 👍
Yeah, you can't go home again...
Better than TV today, where they don't make shows like this anymore and just like making reality shows instead.
The great thing about these shows was that the main character was powerful but yet never abused it for their own needs but helped others. Good role models.
linda carter..one of gods most gorgeous creations ever.. 2023 now and this lady is still absolutely beautiful, both looks wise and in real life ( have never heard of a single person with a negative word to say about her... ) .. :-)
2:30 love this shot of the Starsky and Hutch car while talking about the Dukes of Hazard. 😊😊
I saw that! Goof in the goofs.
I was between 6 and 9 years old when all these TV shows came out and they bring back great memories. By the way, Lynda Carter can do no wrong.
Born in ‘62, and remember watching all of these.
Hilarious.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
Cheers. 🇨🇦
I’m in tears as u DECONSTRUCT ALL THE GOOFS! As a kid I was sold on ALLL OF IT! Hilarious watching with my 18yr old he’s like DAD YALL FELL FOR THIS! IM
LIKE YEAH WE HAD NO “ ILM” or “WETA” for special effects CHI OR PRACTICAL EFFECTS! 🤣🤣💯💯
The scene where the Hulk throws the bear was hilarious. Me and a friend almost died laughing when it first came out( maybe 1978?)
Standard def and tiny TV's made most of this stuff unnoticeable in the 70's!
I remember back then our MAIN TV was a 19" black and white screen.
On the Six Million Dollar Man It always puzzled me how they illustrated a man running super fast by showing him running super slow.
I can't stop watching, loving it! at 15:46 Bixby has boots but they change to Nike's!!! Shoes mysteriously show up, then mysteriously change to Nikes from boots!
When Spider-Man jumps out of the helicopter, he twists his body because the stunt man is really going to land on an air bag!😅
😂😂😂 That Carnival of Thrills goof with Bo’s car morphing FOUR times in one jump is hilarious. Goes to show you just how much a show can get away with.
I LOVE watching and finding out about thee ..."goofs." ...these T.V shows were absolute magic to me a a kid. The imperfection's just add to the charm. Thanks for taking me back. This was fun. Cheers!
Thank you very much! It was a fun time for television.
@@tvcrazymanYes it was...and as kids we pretended we were Steve Austin, Buck Rodgers, the A-Team, whoever......Of course pretending to be The Duke Boys or Evil Knievel on our Bicycles proved to be at times painful...hahaha...good time's. Great memories. Thanks again.
The Incredible Hulk was on at 8pm (Eastern) and the Dukes of Hazzard was on at 9. I used to sit on my grandfather's lap and we would watch the Dukes together. He loved that show!
I was bon in 72 and as of today nothing beats the old movies i love them all, man i wish everyone can watch them today 😎
Love the bewildered look on Rick Springfield's face @14.30/22.05; i'd imagine i'd pull an identical look if Lynda Carter appeared in from of me in that costume...
I love the way Lou Ferrigno gets to play hime self in TV shows now and he is a good actor.
I was born in 1966 and I joined these TV series. That also shows you we're not perfect.
Spiderman carried the guy to the top of the building to make sure he didn't fail. 😂😂😂😂
I was born in '71 and I loved ALL of these - goofs and all. I'm surprised that you didn't have SHAZAM on here with all of the goofs in that show, which I also loved!
I do have a Shazam goofs video. Check it out - ruclips.net/video/qupC0VxEMiU/видео.htmlsi=MiqKa0kMp8-iHXOr
I was born in 64 and I too think the shows of the 70’s were the best . I was 11 when the Wonder Woman pilot movie premiered, what I remember most is how noticeable it was when her stunt double was used because her wig was horrible and she was shorter than Lynda Carter, also the heels on her boots were constantly disappearing and reappearing .And I was a big fan of the Shazam/Isis hour on Saturday mornings. I had a Six Million Dollar man action figure complete with that motor he lifted with his bionic arm, also had a bionic woman board game.
In Wonder Woman, not one man would have ever noticed any goof somewhere else in the scene besides on her self.
I watched all these shows wide eyed and in awe of their awesomeness!
Great video! I was a kid in the 70s and while I didn't notice the inconsistency errors, I did occasionally see the wires. But that was just part of it. It was TV theatre, and the goal wasn't to be perfect. We all knew they were actors and it was just a show. The wires didn't phase me at all.
I think the General Lee is related to Christine, with how it seemingly regenerates after ever jump and whatever else seems to damage it😂
growing up watching several of these shows i tended to notice the goofs. i still notice goofs in shows now
Of course back in the 70s when a TV Show blooper would have occurred during a show, You would be so locked into watching the action scenes especially as a kid, Stuff like this was still hard to focus onto and once you missed a part that was it no replay and of course at that time Not too many Households had a VCR let alone a pause playback feature like HD Today! It's so cool that we are now gifted with such technology for viewing things like this! Thank-You for sharing!
Yeah, it is neat. Makes me feel a little like a detective with high tech equipment. Well, it would have been considered super high tech back then.😀
THIS WAS GREAT! Its amazing how we were so blind to any bloopers at all back then!😂😂
That's because you only saw the program once when it first aired and maybe a few months later in a rerun. There was no way to analyze it for bloopers.
Because there was no way to replay things and thereby Notice things
I didn’t notice the more subtle bloopers, but seeing the General Lee nearly fold in half when landing after a jump then look perfect the next second was a bit much, even for a kid.
This was very enjoyable for a guy who was in his teens when these shows originally aired!
Loved each of these shows as a kid. There were plenty of bloopers in Dukes. Wrecked cars, repeating backgrounds... etc
My slightly older sister pointed out "How can Steve Austin break a set of handcuffs without ripping off his non-bionic hand?" She was always a smart one.
Never noticed many bloopers on Wonder Woman. I was always intent on watching the star of the show! Wowsa 😳
I was born in 1971. I loved these old shows. I used to play pee wee football and frequently I’d not show up because the games were Friday nights and I wanted to watch the Incredible Hulk. Lol. I loved the live action Spider-Man shows, but I could never catch them when they were on tv.
Spotting bloopers in 1970s TV shows is like trying to find a corrupt politician 😄
This is brilliant. Also, look at The Price of Liberty episode as Steve jumps out the back of the runaway truck. If you look closely, you clearly see his stunt double.
Still love the show though 😁
I don't know how old he was at the time, but Lou Ferrigno was at Dragon*Con in Atlanta about 13 or so years ago. He was in the celebrity autograph area (you know, all the tables and stuff), and he was standing up as I passed by. The dude was STILL CUT. He STILL looked like the Hulk.
I'm pleased to say I didn't notice a single one of these goofs when watching these shows as a 7-year old. I wonder if I'd have cared?
I seem to recall catching mistakes back then as kind of neat, but it never ruined anything for me I just thought of it as figuring out the tricks that they used. I definitely didn't notice a lot of things back then as much as I do now.
Born in 1971. I really enjoyed your video...thank you
i appreciate it.
Rick Springfield also has a cameo in the pilot of Battlestar Galactica, as a nugget Viper pilot straight out of training. Starbuck skives off what they think will be the last Viper patrol the Colonials will fly before the Cyloin peace treaty takes hold. This allows Apollo's brother, played by Springfield, to fly Apollo's wing on that "last" patrol.
I remember in the Christmas episode of the 6 Million Dollar Man, that starred Dick Sergeant of "Bewitched" fame, there was a blooper in the scene, where they were in a toy shop, looking for presents for kids! Towards the end of the scene, where the camera zooms in on Lee Major's face, in the background, you can clearly see, that there is a toy of the 6 Million Man, that just came out that year for Christmas, just sitting there in the background!
I told my parents to look right there, but my father just ignored me! However, my mother saw it though and said, "wow, you're right!" The following week, TV Guide mentioned the blooper as being there in the show the previous week!
From time to time some shows would do little things like that, sort of as an inside joke and not as a blooper.
Wow, I didn't know that! That's interesting!
Great goofs & gaffs is what made these programs the best lol 🤣🤣🤣
Oh yeah, no doubt this old shows are the best. 😀
They have to work with what they have during the era. There is no perfection. You sure have a lot of time digging the footage, much appreciate for sharing.
Thank you for making my thoughts of shows goofs and bloopers into reality
These shows were, and are "Priceless"
The Duke boys keep finding ramp-shaped mounds of dirt at numerous road repair sites (all dirt roads). Also, in every other cut their CB antennae appear and disappear.
1974 here. Loved WW! Lol I was her for Halloween many times. Lol Loved The Duke Boys too. 😊 All of them were good shows. Excellent video.😊
Of course we want the shows to be great when we're younger so we never catch these things. One of my favorites, though, is the Six Million Dollar Man and my favorite episode "The Seven Million Dollar Man. When Steve has to kick down a vault door, he starts running towards the target with high-heeled 70s boots on, but when hes in the air kicking the door down, he has flats on. Then, in the next scene he's back to the boots again LOL That's probably one of the few that I've caught and only as an adult lol.
I loved shows like The Six Million Dollar Man and The Hulk as a kid, and I always love goofs...so thanks for this video 😊
Another interesting story about Dukes is the Cooter tow truck....the first tow truck used is a '70 brown Chevy (they only had one, so it was used in both 1st and 2nd unit filming...so it got pretty beat up.)
When they moved out to California..the old Chevy was stopped by CHIPS (California Highway Patrol) and was told that old junk like that aren't allowed on California roads, so the truck was scrapped and replaced. A total of 6 different tow trucks would be on the show.
Fun fact: The 1967 blue and white tow truck was used in 3 different TV shows -Dukes, Scarecrow and Mrs. King as well as The X-Files (you can tell by the scratch on the front bumper and decal on the side)
😂😂😂😂 It did look like the Hulk was disco dancing while falling down to the ground.
Hulk is "Staying Alive" just like John Travolta.
@@tvcrazyman 🤣🤣🤣 You know it
Born in '69, brother you nailed it. I remember running home barefoot with a couple of friends screaming "Doooooooooks!" trying to get there in time to catch the intro. Agh!
The white car being jumped changing model multiple times is both crazy and one that is inexcusable
I remember watching that Spiderman tv show and the one thing I remember most about it was Spiderman/Peter Parker in a hospital bed talking to a lady. I got the impression that he was dying and I never saw anything after that!
Knight Rider was a show you could see lots of crew members. Kitt was basically just a big mirror, each time they will film it from the side, you could see the crew in the reflection.
I grew up in the 70's & 80's....this video was such a delight to me cuz I grew up watching those shows.....I also was a viewer of.....
* "Starski & Hutch"
* "Buck Rodgers"
* "Six Million Dollar Man"
* "Greatest American Hero"
* "Beretta"
* "Knight Rider"
* "A-Team"
" "Magnum P.I."
* "Love Boat"
* "Charlie's Angels"
" "Dallas"
* "Fantasy Island"
* "Falcon Crest"
" "Spencer For Hire"
* "Hart To Hart"
All these shows are very dear to me ....growing up watching weekly brought me & my family together during prime time hours.....!
📺📺📺📺📺📺
I used to watch Dukes with the intention of catching goofs. I one single driving conversation, the interior as seen from the front cycled through 3 colors
The only show you mentioned that really got me excited as a kid was The Six Million Dollar Man. I had the Steve Austin doll with the engine and button on the back that you lifted an engine with and skin on his arm you could peel back and see the bionics. 😂 Oh yeah and an eye you could look through.I was born in 69
Check out my other Six Million Dollar Man videos, if you haven't already. I love that show. I was one of those kids running around in slow motion in the 70's.
@@tvcrazyman So was I but I always wanted to see it speeded up like when he runs in his tracksuit in the intro, but he never did lol. I actually bought the dvd collection of the whole first series about 12 years ago for just 1 pound from the cash generator a chain store pawn shop. I loved that show it was massive in England too most of my pals had the Steve Austin doll too. Great times. It's just the other shows like the hulk and others that came out afterwards never quite hit the spot like TSMDM did. And yes I will check out your other vids mucker, Thanks!
Around 1976 "I was 13 yrs old" I'd watch these episodes with my older brothers. They would point out to me the goofs but we couldn't rewind a show back then for me too see it. So I started watching for goofs on various tv show episodes every time I watched tv and would spot so many during the late 70's to early 80's. I always thought of the thousands & thousands of dollars an editor or tape splicer would make who couldn't properly do their job. Easy money back then.
In that scene where wonder woman is jumping and that dark mysterious figure shows up, I solved it. That dark figure we all saw was Venom. He made his first appearance ever and the funny thing he was not introduced into comics until 1984. The Wonder Woman television show debuted in 1975. I believe the symbiotes were among us, maybe from the Roswell incident. Either way Venom decided to make a quick appearance, to let the world know he was stalking Wonder Woman in the DC universe, even though Venom is a Marvel character. In Venom's defense who would not want to stalk wonder woman, (Linda Carter) back then? Right fellas. LOL Great video, thanks for posting.
Why are you doing this ? 😅🤣 Messing with our childhood dreams lol
i loved these shows especially Hulk and steve austin brilliant tv
Ahhhhh shucks.....you broke my heart......I thought Wonder Woman was actually deflecting real bullets..😏
Oh yeah, I remember Bigfoot from the Six Million Dollar man show and I think that's the point when the show jumped the shark. Bigfoot's eyes scared the crap out of me as a kid. So did the robot version of Oscar Goldman.
I was born in 73 and I loved all these shows as a kid. I own all these on dvd except Spider-Man.
The Electric Company Spiderman was better than the 70s TV series.
4:34 Gyu Gyu Gyu Get them Duke goofs!
Death Probe was AMAZING!!!
Man, I loved this video going down memory lane of all my fav shows as a kid!
18:28 there is even the safety pin left in the grenade, tangeling out from the grip, as it hurls through the air. Well done.
Wonder Woman bloopers all day ❤️😘
You call them goofs, I call them Special Defects!
I grew up loving these shows. Esp were Oscar in the 6 million dollar man had his briefcase mobile phone. And I thought it was so cool to have a phone like that.
I liked the shoe phone in get smart.
Ah! The General Lee was the offspring of Christine and The Car.
Enjoyed the look back. I was in High School and college during the run of these series. Since you appear to be a Sci-Fi buff, you would have enjoyed my trips to Wonderfest in Louisville, KY. I met many Sci-Fi stars including Anne Francis, Boris Karloff's daughter, David Hedison, Bobby May as the guy inside the Robot in Lost in Space and many others. My son is a sculptor and artist who would display his items there.
Awesome!
Hilarious. Thanks for the nostalgia trip. I was around 11 when these shows were on. Great memories!
Spidey dumped him on the roof for not fixing the damn door!!
Bill Bixby had on dopeman Nikes!!😂
The Death Probe from $6M Man scared the hell out of me as a kid. To this day that crazy sound it made still creeps me out.
Wonder Woman's stick grenade also has the pin in it. You can see the ring from the ring-pull.
Very cool my brother and sister grow up in the early sixties as a kid tackling available of this show 😎
15:14 I suppose New York City traffic is enough to turn anyone into the Hulk!
That's probably true.
The-em Dukes, them Dukes!
That part about the Hulk jumping down the elevator and how the stuntman as the Hulk was moving i spot it from the beggining and though what the heck was that?😂
There was a blooper that occured in practically EVERY episode of six billion dollar man. He only has one bionic arm, yet in every episode, he'll snap a really strong chain by pulling it with his bionic arm while merely holding it with his feeble hand. How on earth was that feeble hand able to just hold the chain against the strength of that powerful bionic arm?
There was also the issue of how physics works. So for instance he'd be able to reach up and pull down on a really thick tree branch and it would snap. Irrespective of how strong he is, if he's pulling with enough effort to snap that branch, his body would be lifted off the floor instead. They get arround similar issues in Superman by explaining that his body density is huge, but Steve Austin is supposed to be "just an ordinary man"
