Funniest TV Superhero Goofs

- I put all the funniest TV superhero goofs, I've found since I've been looking for TV goofs and mistakes on television series together in this video. Plus, I talk about some scenes I think are worthy of mention that made me laugh that weren't necessarily goofs, but were actually made for laughs on purpose.
I've got funny superhero TV goofs from the Incredible Hulk starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno, Wonder Woman starring Lynda Carter, Batman starring Adam West and Burt Ward, Superman starring George Reeves, and the Six Million Dollar Man starring Lee Majors.
I also talk about the goofiest superhero TV show of all time that only lasted two episodes called Legends of the Superheroes that actually starred Adam West and Burt Ward. Then, I present some of television's funniest superhero moments with the Greatest American Hero starring William Katt, the Incredible Hulk, Batman, Superman, and the Bionic Man Steve Austin.
Relive the good old days, laugh, and get your fill of nostalgia as I look back at TV superheroes from the 1950's to the 1980's and all the tricks, props, and scenes that sometimes didn't go so well as the creators of these shows tried to create heroes with believable super powers for television.

My favorite thing your presented was the one with the Justice League saying Aquaman is missing. My friends 6 year old saw that episode and he noticed that Aquaman was right there and he started yelling at the TV "Aquaman is right there!!!! He is right there standing next to you!!!!" Lol!!!!!🤣🤣🤣
That's funny 😀
In fairness I'm the guy who keeps looking for Aquaman when he's right next to me, too.
Funny how in the first scene superman stands there for a hail of bullets but when the guns thrown he dodges like a grandpa haha
lmao... "I don't have 25 cents" gadamn classic
GAH breaking the 4th wall was always funny
A hilarious line said by a henchman in an early Batman episode: "That sounds like a Batzooka!"
YEEESS!!! BONES AND ALL!!!! MY DAD ALSO LAUGHED HIS BUTT OFF!!!! My most memorable moment other than the other Hulk that looked like a living dead Hulk.
The American hero was ahead of its time. The humor and action in there with all that special effect. Like, wow, I am beyond impressed these days shows not even movies on the level of cleverness or even show development like special effects within shows and movies.
There was an episode of the Six Million Dollar man where he gave a troubled kid a ride in a jet. They climbed into a twin seated F104 Starfighter, taxied down the runway in an F4 Phantom, flew around in an F5, landed in a single seated Starfighter... and climbed out of a double seated Starfighter.
I remember either that scene, or a similar The Six Million Dollar Man scene, but they only kept switching back & forth between a Starfighter & a Phantom. 🤦
@@davidrosoff3228 Could be... it's been a while and I only saw it once.
Reminds me of Airwolf. In the pilot episode, the villain who controls Airwolf locks onto a French Mystere. The computer identifies it as a Mirage, but the readout is of a MIG 23.(it even says it on the readout!)
Gave the kid his money's worth
9:14 I remember an episode where Hulk had trouble opening a can of beer.
Noooo... you're kidding!!!!!! QQ
Those phone problems remind me of the times I've had with companies that don't listen to you or put you on hold for over an hour--only to have your phone quit on you when it's important for any problems!!!😮
I remember Steve Austin stopping a cave-in by using his bionic arm and legs to hold up the ceiling. I suppose they "forgot" that everything _between_ the arm and legs was still squishy human flesh.
The Six Million Dollar Man was based on the book Cyborg by Martin Caidin. In the book he says that Steve Austin’s rib cage and spine was reinforced. This was never mentioned on the show.
@@IraRabinowitzah! I thought $6 million was a bit steep for 2 legs, an arm and a telephoto lens!
@@petermcgill1315
A comic strip had a precocious kid watching a rerun of The Six Million Dollar Man with his grandfather. The kid said, "Even at 1970s prices, surely that much technology would have cost a lot more than six million dollars."
The grandpa thought about it for a moment, then replied, "Maybe that was his deductible."
Do you remember on THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO when Ralph first puts on the suit he looks in the mirror and says “HEY SAILOR.”
One thing I realized about the six million dollar man Steve Austin was that okay he's supposed to be really strong because bolth his legs and one arm are bionic rit. But realistically if your core, abs and back aren't bionic as well to support the bionic arm then you would still not be able to lift heavy things with your bionic arm without hurting your back because your back, core is not bionic.
The Six Million Dollar Man was based on the book Cyborg by Martin Caidin. In the book he says that Steve Austin’s rib cage and spine was reinforced. This was never mentioned on the show.
Back spasms!!! Are you kidding me???
$6 million, and no one thought of back support?
9:32: "Hi, we like to talk about your car's extended warranty..."
"HULK SMASH!!!"
WHY IS SUPERMAN DUCKING WHEN A GUN IS THROWN AT HIM??? It just boggles the mind... and at 3:14... where a stuffed bear is in mid air... is this just hilarious or what??? Haha
A huge goof from the Incredible Hulk was Lou Ferrigno's three quarter pants he wore as the Hulk, sometimes the pants would barely be lower than his knee; implying he was that much taller than Banner😂😂.
David would have to be 4 feet tall for that to work
I never knew that the "Legends of the Superheroes" show even existed. How did I miss that??
8:30 Noel Neil was Lois Lane alone opposite two actors playing Superman, Kirk Alyn and George Reeves.
You know, I wish I could do that when the operator give me that jazz.
Never got tired watching these series..bring back lots of memories....
Keep ‘em coming! That was great!! 😂
Thanks
These shows had more goofs than I can count but they were fun goofs
The actors had such great personalities and everything was done for fun. It made these old shows fun to watch.
Im glad they had great personalities you can tell they were having a blast and having fun with it your right it made these shows fun to watch
3:50 If I had a dollar for every scene error on Super Friends, I would buy golden kryptonite at the space auction.
I'd join you there! Lol
That Legends of the superheroes Hal Jordan Green Lantern looks pretty cool with a comic accurate costume to boot.
I remember on George Reeves Superman, the crisis was that Superman was frozen to "2000 degrees below zero." Absolute zero, which is impossible to reach by the way, is -273.15 degrees. Not expecting the show to be realistic, but that plot goof really spoiled that episode for me.
It is a pretty infamous episode of Superman where Perry White was strapped to a log that was slowly advancing toward a large spinning circular saw. Supes bursts in, but instead of taking Perry off of the log, he decided to stick his chest into the saw. The teeth of the blade were already dropping off before he got anywhere near them. Obviously, nobody cared how silly this looked because this was kept in the aired version.
You didn't mention that Ralph Hinckly's hair always changes into a bad wig whenever he is flying from the distant camera LOL
Of course, ricocheting fragments of bullets are also quite dangerous for anyone in the room who isn't Superman... you'd think someone would find that out at some point.
Mad Magazine did a comic strip where Superman is grinning as bullets bounce off him... then turns around and sees numerous bystanders dead from ricochets.
You forget that Superman, with his super speed, eyesight, & thinking would be able to aim the ricochets safely wherever he pleased. 🦸
Supes usually stands straight on at the shooter so the bullet would flatten partially against his chest, and lose most of its energy, before any ricochet He is bulletproof, but he isn't like an armor plate, else anyone who shook Clark Kent's hand would know he is The Man of Steel. He has flesh that gives way slightly just like human flesh, but his won't tear open. Very similar, really, to soft body armor made today.
Tyere is a comic where Clark Kent gets shot 6 or 8 times and he quickly smears the crushed bullets trapped between his Superman outfit and his Kent clothes into a metal film (Super-speed hands, natch) so he has "a bulletproof vest" to let onlookers, including Lois, I think, see why Clark survived.
Adam west is by far my fav batman just because how goofy and cheesey it was these old tv shows were priceless i think thats why i like B movies so much
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the "Batman" TV show. But, NO ONE has EVER gotten Batman right as a character, except for still the best, Michael Keaton & his Keaton mobile! I'm SO STOKED that they're back in the DC universe in "The Flash" movie! I hope they continue to be brought back again & again. I hope the "Batgirl" movie gets made, which they're also supposed to be in. 🦇
11:20 “He ate it, bones and all.” I watched this as a child with my grandfather, and he too laughed at that line just like your dad did. I still remember that all these years later 😂
It's funny how some things stay in your mind years later. 😀
@@tvcrazymanI remember the sound of the crunching and chewing
When I was a kid, my dad ate a drumstick by biting the knuckle off the end and chewing it all up. Not the bone, just the cartilage. I nearly crawled out of my skin hearing him crunch it up. LOL! (I sure miss my dad, drumsticks and all. Tell people how much you love them, folks!)
Love it!😂 memories from my childhood, keep up the great work
Thanks
1:55 Faster than a ,"granny tossed," gun. He really is superman!
I loved these goofs. Thanks for sharing these, especially the ones with The Greatest American Hero.
Glad you enjoyed it
I loved that Ralph watched the Super Friends as inspiration when he got his super suit.
9:45 There is actually no reason an outdoor phone would make an electrical arc like that.
Grab your popcorn and enjoy these old recordings of the best bad shots.
thanks for sharing these great childhood memories.
You're welcome! Thanks
I remember The Incredible Hulk. My brother and I would watch it and whoever could find the most goofs would get their chores for that day done by the 'loser'. (We had a vcr and either my mom or dad were final judge).
Sounds like fun.
@@tvcrazyman Great memories. Thanks for bringing them out for a peek. 😂
Video reviews? Man, sounds like it would be easier just to do the chores.
Superfriends - he's right there.
6:48 Robin's legs also bow inwards as if the bones of his lower legs are crushed to powder, but he's just fine as soon as he's freed.
I don’t know why you’d ever wonder if we want a video on the *Legends Of The Superheroes* but yes... we certainly do please.
Cool, I think it would make a fun video to do. I remember when I was a kid I was disappointed when it didn't come on again after the second time.
Boy these shows had more cheese than a bucket of Valetta - boy they were fun though.
Another fantastic video! Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate it.
No problem, @@tvcrazyman! Keep up the good work and keep on trucking, bro!
I have no memory of "Legends of the Superheroes" and I would love to see a video about it.
Cool. 😀
The biggest "goof" I ever saw in in the Batman show was César Romero's moustache as the Joker. It always stood out like a neon sign and it always broke my immersion in the show 😀
Cesar Romero wouldn't let them shave his mustache off. (I don't blame him. I'd shave my head for a decent reason, but wouldn't touch my mustache or beard unless my life depended on it.)
I always felt that it made his Joker grin even more menacing.
I watched Batman on TV as a kid in the '70s and never noticed Romero's moustache.
@@AnnoyingMoose We were kids. Things like that were invisible to us.
@@AnnoyingMoose neither did I but there wasn't HD on those cathode ray tubes. But I did feel something was off with his face, just couldn't place it
That wasn't George Reeves ducking. It was a stunt double. His instincts told him to duck. So...he did.
Yes, he said that on the video.
3:40
gotta be honest, never seen superfriend vs superfriends
but a funny thought comes to mind
SUPERFRIENDS WITH SUPERBENEFITS
I mean we always figured Superman would nail wonderwoman right
Reminds me of an old joke I heard an older kid telling his buddies,
" Superman walks into wonder woman's bedroom, sees her naked , rolling around on the bed, and he tells himself he's Superman..! ! He can fly in at super speed, and "make love" ( not the words that were actually used😂) but he could do it so fast, that wonder woman wouldn't even no what happened, so he does his thing, super quickly, then flies out the window without being seen, wonder woman says " what was that".??.
And the invisible man says" I don't know, but my ass is killing me" ..
😂
Please keep in mind, we were just dumb kids
@@denverscott37
and i got to the part of
"He can fly in at super speed"
and i'm like .. I've fucking heard this one
Except this part
"He can fly in at super speed, and "make love""
The way it was told to ,me was "He could Fuck her" :P
and yep the invisible man LMFAO
and we were just dumb kids but ohh they were good days
Show me a kid today that knows this story
About the scene involving calling the police, it is funny because a lot of cities didn't have 911. Today the 911 operator needs to help the phone caller to calm down on occasion. Due to technology, a caller's location can be trace to the source of the phone call.
he ate the bones and all is one of my favorite episodes. :P
Loved the Scene where Clark was Jealous. So Funny. 😄
Yes it was! Cracks me up everytime I see it.
What episode was that scene in??
@@TJWFilmProductions Bully of Dry Gulch from the third season
@@tvcrazyman This is the most hilarious scene! Thank you! Gotta revisit this show! 😂
The Greatest American Hero opening theme music with lyrics was epic
I gotta say, watching those bloopers with your added commentary makes it all the more hilarious.
I just loved these shows as a kid.
Clark - he's been doing what!
I think we have to remember when we originally watched these; we were young children, caught up in the fantasy of the story. I'm 53, so born in 1970, so when these series were on I would have been too young to see the goofs and I'd be watching the action. It's so often the case that it's only when we get older, and also have the ability to pause, remind and rewatch a scene over and over that we pick up on these.
11:04 this is why you don't see any phone both around anymore 🤣🤣🤣
Probably so. 😀
Superhero TV shows were a bit weird, yes, but they were very enjoyable and fun. I loved the video! 😁👍
Thanks, yes, those old shows were loads of fun to watch.
@@tvcrazyman yes!
@@tvcrazymanKenneth Johnson (the creator of the HULK TV SHOW) told me he tried to make it realistic as the audience only gives you so many “buys.” He said STAN LEE wanted the HULK to fight a robot bear but told him it would be to ridiculous.
😅 oh man...im crying in laugther over here!
I thought I'd see how many of the funniest superhero TV goofs I've found that I could put into one video. If anybody would like to see a full video on the Legends of Superheroes specials with Adam West and Burt Ward let me know in the comments below. Thanks
ABSOLUTELY!!! I've never even HEARD of "Legends of the Superheroes", & I watched A LOT of TV back then, including all the superhero shows. I have NO idea how I missed it. 😳 I'd like to learn as much as I can about it, & where I can watch it.
There's a goof in a Six Million Dollar Man episode (maybe the Bigfoot one?) where Steve goes into a shop to talk with a merchant and on the shelf behind him is the Six Million Dollar Man action figure. Maybe it's intentional but my brothers and I always got a kick out of it when watching reruns.
6:08 Sharp eye!
Superman ducking when the gun was thrown so wide was also funny. I guess the stunt double forgot and ducked intuitively in case the gun hit his face. You look at the example of when Superman didn't duck, the scene is cut between the bad guy throwing the gun and it hitting Superman's chest, so they could have someone throwing the gun from off camera, but close enough to ensure it would hit his body and not his face.
They are just giving aqua man that silent treatment where you let them talk. And then you're like, did you guys hear something?
Hello, Voz do Gibi here. Once I discussed on DC fandom about the status of Batman in Legends of the Superheroes. The fandom owner claimed Batman from 1966 series and Batman from Legends were two distinct people from different universes. I claimed the contrary, only one, Batman 66. Now I checked it, I was right after all.
Looks 💯 fun though even if there’s no cgi … 🤪
I've never laughed so much , what memories lol.
Glad you had fun watching!
@tvcrazyman definitely a subscriber 🇬🇧
4:04 damn, he’s the King of the fucking Seven Seas and he can’t get a BREAK!!!!
Yes do legion of Superheroes 😅😂
At 1:11, is that the ‘Double D Avenger’ getting on that bike?
I’m still puzzled over that super friends one where Aquaman disappeared into. the. water…. They left behind the two people who could LITERALLY turn into water or a deep-diving critter that Aquaman could probably talk to with fish telly-pathy. You wanna leave somebody behind it should at least be Batman who would have to purchase a deep sea submersible or Flash, who still needs to breathe air so the best he could do would be run around on the surface.
Also Hulk fine till phone lady mentioned lawyers, then gets cranky. HULK NO LIKE BROKEN LEGAL SYSTEM!!! 😡😡😡
Wait, Robin is slugging henchmen then slugs Batman and nothing gets mentioned?!? Not even from the narrator?🤷♂️
On that particular episode there was like fake bad guy Batmen running around.😀
In Death In The Family, the Hulk takes a drink of alchol. It tastes so horrible to him, he spitsit into the fire causing the fire to get bigger and scare the Hulk..
1:46 it was the 1970s, so the absence of CGI can be excused
Dude, hilarious 😂, subbed.
Thanks for subbing
On Aquaman goof - standing right there - the Actors just read script lines. They are not necessarily even reading the lines around the other actors. They are not watching any of the show - just reading script. The goof was actually that of the Animators - who drew him - or used the wrong already drawn stuff with him in it.
2:53 Yeah, that was only the second TV movie/episode though. You didn't see so much of that once the show got going. I think they got better at applying the grease paint, they learned not to write so many scenes with the Hulk in water (or rain), and they learned to block and shoot a little bit more defensively. Still, you can catch brief glimpses of it rubbing off on people's clothes throughout the series.
It’s easy to point things out from a pre home video era
There's another one with the hulk that you messed with his footwear. He's actually wearing some green sandals slipper things like ballerina toe shoes. All I remember is that he was running through LA... Which I can only think it's the last place you want to be barefoot even as the hulk.
Why am dying laughing?
Thanks for sharing this entertaining video 🤩🍿🎥
Remember that The Greatest American Hero's hero was first named "Ralph Hinckley." After the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan on March 30, 1981, they changed his name to "Hanley."
Yeah, that was a strange thing to do, really, and then they changed it right back. I think I would have just not mentioned his last name for a while.
3:10 hulk holding the bear over his head you see his arm where the paint got onto the bear
I am constantly pointing out errors/inconsistencies to SWMBO and it drives her nuts!
There used to be jobs for people like us in movies/television. They were known as "continuity people". I was born a decade or two too late, I guess.
Anyway, I would like to see a retrospective on "Legends of the Superheroes".
Haha, why did superman even dodge the bad guy throwing the gun at him at the first clip...
THESE OLD S.H. S. WERE SILLY&FUN. THAT'S Y WE ❤️ THEM SO MUCH👌👌👌
Superhero stuff long ago were so much better than the CGI overkill garbagefest stuff that we have today. It would be cool to see stuff in the old style with a little CGI here and there.
2:49 That is batcatcher paper
I got that disco hulk on DVD
Totally killed it again with these awesome goofs bud 😀
Thanks Pratman!
Hate to think how many goofs you'd find in my cartoon lol 🤣🤣🤣
@@Pratman Pratman makes no mistakes. Ug Lug or Claw the Kung Fu Cat is another story. 😀😀😀

hold on guys I am still looking for Aqua man.
Clearly, Aquaman was John Cena's original mentor! That's why they couldn't see him.
The Batman series style was Camp..
Awesome!
Thanks!
Lol, some of these were Funny 🤣
I like youe delivery
Yes, video!
The cheesy visuals weren't the worst thing about that Legends of the Superheroes special. The worst thing was the laugh track. That just ruined it.
@10:05 is my favorite momment
What about when the HULK wears green slippers?
First of all I loved the 60s batman show when i was a kid.. but that show was so bad how could you tell they were goofs in it lol
I can definitely relate 10:46
Should do Bigfoot and Wild boy
That's on my to do list. At the very least I plan on doing a facts video for that show.
Too bad 10-10-321 didn’t exist in Bruce Banner series
