I don't see an issue with having a vote; that's democracy. Either it passes or it fails. If the majority of the House holds the same opinion that you personally hold, then you have nothing to worry about. If you think you are a minority opinion, then that's just life in a democracy. I don't see an issue. There's no reason to not vote on something or to stop a bill from being voted on.
