- In this video, I visit Gold Creek Pond near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State. I do an en plein air painting of a small mostly frozen pond on a cold winter day. I demonstrate my approach to painting a snowy scene with lots of big shapes. The light changes alot during the session so I hope it is helpful to see how I manage that..
