Thank you so much for making those videos! Everytime I watch your videos all the pressure I have is just gone, your positive attitude just keeps making my day! I cant say it enough thank you mark you are truly a beautiful person :)
Mark I thought Thai people were mainly Buddhist so would they be mainly Vegetarians ? Are there mainly more Vegan Restaurants in Thailand? Awesome Yau Tube VLOG !
I am a traveler myself, but have never gone to Asia! since watching your videos over the pass few years you are turning my head towards that part of the world, also I am frugal, and prices there are right for my pocket, thank you for all your honest detailed information, it's appreciated.
I tried Sabeinglae Restaurant 3 months ago, it was amazing. The food me and my family ordered was the tamarind prawns, wai Kua (tastes like clam chowder but with octopus in it), papaya salad (it was alright), deep fried soft shell crabs, sea mushroom curry, and crab fried rice. Although the dishes were kind of expensive like Mark said on the description but it’s a nice place you got to try and not to miss when you visit Samui, it’s really good. I mostly recommend Wai Kua and the Sea Mushroom Curry. My favorite was those two.
Mark thanks for your entertaining food Vlogs. We are one week off our fourth Thailand trip and your videos make my mouth water at the thought of the culinary delights we look forward to on every venture. We are going to try a number of local, traditional places to eat to go out of our comfort zone. Thanks for being so informative
That squid looked delicious! I LOVE squid! Had some last month at "A taste of Thai" Placerville in a pad see oo . I left out the muscles...don't know if I like them. Grandfather was a bit rude...
LOL! When you asked which rock we should know who the grandparent was, I busted out laughing!!! I thought maybe you didn't know when I first saw it on the video but once you ask that question, I couldn't stop laughing.
I love watching your adventures Mark, and I enjoy yur famous make it or break it face cuz I hold my breath b4 each bite and wait for it!!!!! Keep en coming!
To me, the best restaurant in Samui, I celebrated my 30th birthday and the servers went over the top to make me feel special! They sang happy birthday and brought a huge pile of pancakes with candles 🎂 I love the fact that we get to choose our own fish and crab for our dishes (evenings only I think), they do the best crab yellow curry on earth.
Went to Sabeinglae last night and had the Yam Sabeinglae, Was Khua and Played kampong dang nouns mango and they were also amazing! Had to spend 1000THB minimum to use my Visa to pay so ordered a few of the basic items like Pad Thai which were also not so bad. But the dishes Mark had were so good. My wife officially said it was the best meal she ever had in her entire life haha, Thanks Mark! :)
The wife and I just ate there yesterday. For a sit down meal at a restaurant, it was the best food we've had so far in Samui. We sat at a table closest to the beach, which I do not recommend due to the smell of the stagnate puddle of ocean water that looked to have been fermenting there for quite some time, as well as all the after-meal cigarette smokers, that have to smoke right there near the base of the steps to the beach, adjacent to our table. But the quality of their food is excellent.
mARK, have you ever done a review of Hat Yail and surrounds. I worked in the area and I loved the fresh seafood but also the little obscure places in Prachuap Kiri Khan. a most interesting boat building town. At least, it was 20 years ago.
AND ONCE AGAIN AWSOME JUST AWSOME MARK,FOR ANOTHER BLOG OF YOUR FOOD REVIEW AND YOUR ADVENTURES THERE. KEEP THEM VIDEOS COMING! WITH MUCH RESPECT TO YOU AND YOUR WIFE MR.MOLINA SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA! 619!
Thank you for the tip on the steamed white snapper in lime juice (unfortunately they were sold out of red snapper) and the squid coconut curry. My fiancee and I hit that restaurant up today on Samui and was incredible! Best meal in Thailand for us so far.
Hi Mark, what a wonderful video...I enjoyed seeing the beach and ocean...the rock formation was very interesting!!! How many weeks in the year do you and your wife travel??? You seem to have a busy travel schedule and wanted to know when do you have a chance to go home. What was you favorite place to travel and eat??? Love your videos...thank you!!!
I want to do yr job, I love cooking and Thai food, never been there and my Mrs doesn't want to go. Looks like I will be hitting Patong by myself, Wink Wink, lol
My husband and I loves to travel and now after all your videos we definitely want to visit Thailand. Please touch on topics about good and reasonable hotel just walking distance from beach. Thank you and more power to you and your wife!

Hey Mark Wiens, Next Friday me and my family are travelling to koh samui, phuket and krabi. Thank you so much for uploading this video. Because of you, I know a lot of things of Koh Samui. Whop you will reply me.
You missed a great restaurant - Koh Kaew on the corner of the main road and the road down to Hin Ta Hin Ya. Not great decor or sea view, but gets a lot of repeat business because they make the best home cooked Thai food. We eat there at least 4 times a week during our winters in Samui.
I always enjoy your food clips but maybe in the near future can we see you enjoy some of the best soul food spots around I will enjoy the expression your face when you get a chance to taste some soul food .. ..😋😋
Hey Mark, while I'm watching your video I'm just thinking about to invite you to eat here in Washington DC. I'll cook many different verities and just love to watch you eating. So when ever you come to US and if you are visiting to DC area please let me know. I'll make you verities of breakfast, lunch, and dinner feast! I also sent you an invitation on LinkedIn.

Hey Mark I love you and ying..you are the best..I am from Pakistan..I want you to come to Pakistan too ..we do have a lot of good food to eat..you will enjoy the food here..
Hey Mark....How do you stay so slim?? You make me want to go to Thailand, If I was still young I would! Love your Channel! Did you live in US? Your English speaking is superb!! Thanks!
A very different reaction from you when the food is good :)) The squid curry didn't look so appetizing to me. Yet with your recommendation I'd try it. Wonderful vlog Mark and Ying.
Yea, in this video you were able to eat some good food. Even though some of the food wasn't the greatest it sure did look good on video. I just got back from eating breakfast and you still made me want to eat again. Ha, the other day I wrote that I was going to the best Thai restaurant in my area, I felt like I was in Thailand as they got my order wrong twice. Yep I had to send back two things to get my order right. Most of the reason was the waiter didn't understand Thai and couldn't explain to the Thai cook what I wanted. Something so simple like green curry with pork came with tofu and not pork and I asked for prik nam pla and got something I had never seen before. Everything came back correct the second time. I had to laugh but in the end everything was great. Hope you had a great time in koh samui. Jon
hi mark, that's awesome.. will you give an idea of how will it cost me to stay in that hotel? i really want to spend sometime in samui and hopefully to meet you...
All of your videos are amazing, but I've especially liked this last series of vids!!! So great! Completely friendly question: what determines whether you eat with your hands or use utensils for each meal?
Thank you so much for making those videos! Everytime I watch your videos all the pressure I have is just gone, your positive attitude just keeps making my day! I cant say it enough thank you mark you are truly a beautiful person :)
El Nino That means a lot to me, thank you, and I'm so happy to hear that.
