Paddy you’re growing into one of my favourite RUclipsr’s. Always so relaxed and great to watch. Enjoy your time with Miss P before you travel again. Have a great day!
Loved the story. Especially the discussion on the food and that you were at a real local restaurant. I can’t see myself getting bored if you do more of these. Already changed our holiday. Plans to get there as soon as things open up again. Thanks to you Paddy!
The beauty of Thailand is that there are literally tens of thousands of little roadside eateries all over the country... I eat at these places all the time... The wife and I can eat a meal for under $3.00 USD and it's delicious... Beware though if you don't like SPICY food, especially Som Tam...
Issan food is off the charts...and so spicy. I remember one thundery, rainy day in Chiang Mai and trying it at a cafe. If the thunder and wind didn't blow my head off, the spice surely did!
Dont worry about the negative comments Paddy, these are the people who complain about their lunch and they made it. Its always good to see street food, its always pretty good and cheap. Keep up the good work. It will be interesting to see if Miss P goes on the road with you, it would add another level to the videos.
We did 3 weeks in Thailand , Feb 2020 , and watching your videos has given me a yearning to go back , really like your style and the fact you leave in some of your mistakes, keep it up x
Loving the tone of your recent videos Paddy! These experiences are part of what I love about Thailand, and when you share them I miss being there a little less.
Love, love spots like these! Mmmmmm delish and mouthwatering... again!! 🤤🤣 Its great that you are showcasing these different restaurant levels to us all! 👍 You were salivating so much you couldn't even speak properly especially right before the Som Tum!
Loved the street food in Thailand. Much preferred it than going to a restaurant. Not everything in life has to be next level, I still think you're making great content in the circumstances. And will enjoy it again when you do get to travel again.
Wow Paddy, you are sounds enjoying Thai food from many provinces especially spicy yummy,I used to live and run business in koh Samui for 14 years,12 years ago,Samui is paradise, mountains, beaches, waterfalls and seafood & isan food, crocke mai, tarrea, janhorm,Je Mui Maenam are all my favorites and I just can’t survive without them, you should try next visit koh Samui, love your videos, love the way you are enjoying your life,it’s next level!
Loved this one. I love spicy Thai Street food so could relate to this and the price 390 baht - incredible. Mark Wiens eat your heart out, Paddy Doyle is the man, minus those extraordinary facial expressions. Oh and Paddy don't let the antagonists get to you pal. Sidequests is a brilliant idea with the forced restrictions and I've enjoyed every single one. Anybody that has followed you from the start is on this adventure with you and no doubt will hang in there for the long haul whatever the Thai Government comes up with. Keep that chin up and have fun :)
Thanks so much for this video! Saw this video in Samui and told my driver to come here with my mom even though we were second guessing how to get here. Saw the same dogs in the video! Ate the rice, the bbq meat, the hot pot and met the amazing mother and her sons cooking. The best place in Samui and the cheapest we ate at! What more could we want? Thanks so much Paddy!!!
I, for one, really appreciate the constant flow of content you are posting. Sure, not every video blows my mind, but given the extremely limited circumstances you're working with, I think you're doing a great job of keeping your audience engaged. We are all anxious to get back to touring the provinces, but until things start to improve there I'm sure the majority of your viewers will be happy to get these little Samui snippets.
We all can say that we enjoy your content . Me personally I’m enjoying this new Series . It give a more in-depth look at the wonderful city. Thank you for investing your time to share this great place. Please don’t rush to leave to please a few viewers. Your safety and peace of mind is the most important.
Absolutely fantastic video Paddy, thank you. I love this style of casual video, not overthought , just real life things that we all love to do. Great camera 📷 it’s producing some fantastic images 😊👍
Enjoyed that thanks! Street food is something like to see more of! That looked great! Always difficult to find the gems when travelling unless you know a local!
Another great foody video . Think you make a great food critic and I watch them all like Mark Wiens ect . I have been going to Thailand since 1987 but you never to late to learn good info on what ever . I think your foody vlogs are great keep them coming Paddy
I think _you are now one of Thailand _one of the thai people. The way you eat all of these dishes of Esan food_amazing !!!!!! Even some of thai can't so spicy !!!! Gold medal 🏅
Hey paddy I think the location for the Isaan food is a bit wrong 😅 the location is in the middle of chewang, we found it eventually if you navigate…. Chanothai health message in bo put. It’s right next door or it’s opposite chewang park place hotel
Instead of traveling vicariously, I'm now dining vicariously through your videos. Its rare that I watch videos in their entirety, but yours are streamed to the television and enjoyed by my wife and I. Thanks Paddy!
Yo patty the best issan restaurant on samui is called issan international , main road lamai it’s an outdoor restaurant with bamboo huts to dine in . One of the best Khao man gai shops in southern Thailand is literally 2 doors down on the opposite side of the road
Food looked really good and I love that you are giving people options on where to eat highlighting nice price points allowing others to dine within their traveling budget. I think it will be kind of sad for you to leave Koh Samui you seem to have lots of fun and adventures and you have made friends there, but I get what you want to accomplish and I look forward to your videos which btw are not rubbish at all. They are interesting fun and informative. Thank you Paddy for sharing Thailand with us.
Enjoy watching how much you enjoy eating! Been in bangkok 4 days and chaweng koh samui 4 days and first steetfood night bazar fisherman village was great. What i was tring to find. Everthing else ti expensive. Night market tonight in chaweng. Parts of beach and certain hotel pools to swim laps good but only for guests. Pattaya and chang mai tomorrow, hoping to find something like you just showed in video. Cost and quality wise. Thanks Enjoy you enthusiasm
I am sooooo9 looking forward to return to pratet thai to eat like this. Loved it for the 5 years in lived in thailand, and I missed for the 11 years I live outside.
I love the capitalistic freedom here in Thailand. If you make good meatballs, set up a table and sell them right in front of your house. If you make good noodle soup, set out a few tables and chairs, and you have a roadside restaurant. And it's like everybody and their grandma got the same recipe because the cooking of traditional dishes is surprisingly consistent wherever you go.
Paddy, buddy, DO NOT rush off Samui because "you can". I'm watching the cases in Thailand climb daily. Your adventures won't be 'next level' from a hospital bed. Do what you do safely. Cheers
Paddy I love your videos! Because of your videos, I am in Thailand for the first time and now on Samui! Your videos are so helpful, In fact I went paddle boarding at Crystal Bay today and it was incredible!! Thanks for continuing to add your special touch to Thailand!!
More Samui Side Quests please!! Our favourite place we ate at during our last trip to Thailand we nicknamed ‘Hole in the Wall’. 1 grandma, 1 wok and best Thai food ever!!!!
Man! I love your food videos. Thanks for making me hungry! And please just ignore negative comments. I know i do not comment every video, but be sure we enjoy all of them. So thank you for that :)

Thanks for sharing this food vlog & I must agree with you that sometimes street foods are way tastier than some posh restaurant foods! It’s always a good thing when prices are way cheaper for something yummy! Move along Mark Weins…….Paddy Doyle is taking over 😉

The spicy grilled pork salad is one of my favorite. Serving with sticky rice is much popular in Thai E-Sarn style.
