Up and down my hill for hours. @8.4mph cardio running equivalent for me, cut and ripped. Used to have same weight setup on ankles, went to heavy boots. I have no use for running, but I do concreting. With the poles you can work muscle heads creatively. Intense weighted cardio.
I looked all over town for some "discarded bike inner tubes filled with road sand attached to trekking poles" so that I might also repurpose them as you had done. Very hard to find.
The upright row is a 'proper' exercise...if you use a sensible amount of weight...and lead with your elbows. The bodybuilding fraternity say it causes internal rotation because they are using humongous weights. (because they're on steroids)

They left out a bunch of exercises that I do with Dumbells at home. When it comes to exercise, if you ask 100 people the same question, you’ll get a 100 different answers. So I’m not going to tell you how my exercises are the best and the proper way to do it. Instead, I will say do what works for YOU. If you only want to work out 5 minutes or 5 hours. If you want to lift 5 pounds or 500 pounds. Do what works for you.
In my opinion every set range should 8-12 sets to 3-4 reps with 30-45 sec break. However, there's youtubers who'll encourage others train to failure like going beyond set of 12 to point you can't do no more, which it does increase muscle gain but sometimes it will risk to injury by overdoing it.
shrugs is a lot better for traps, there so many more great dumbbell exercises out there that could be included, oblique isolation exercises are overrated imo, crunches and leg lift variations hit all of the core more effectively.

You didn't mention how walking dumbells is actually great for traps as well, and if you do it using one hand also great for obliques
