How to Change 2015 Hyundai Sonata Cabin Air Filter

This is a quick video which can help save you $20 - $30 compared to having a dealer or oil change shop replace you cabin air filter. This maintenance item should be performed at least every 30,000 miles to ensure your climate control system is filtering the outdoor air properly.

You rock. I took my car in to the dealership for an oil change and they tried to charge me $70 to change the air filters. My husband always tells me they overcharge so I decided to see how hard it'd be to do it ourselves. Once I found your videos I bought some filters at Auto Zone for about $37 with tax and put them in myself! Thanks again!

Man that is ridiculous as hell with a paper part I was wondering what shops charge for this.. I live in a small city we have dealerships but I only ever take my car to mom and pop shops and I'm sure they'd charge a good amount to do this also.

@@mking8242 I live in Las Vegas. My dealership at Hyundai SuperStore on Boulder Highway tried to charge me 85 dollars to do this. And another 40 for the engine air filter. The Engine Air filter is even easier to check, which I checked last week and was clean. So I know some under handed stuff was afoot. I name names. Went for an oil change only. Makes me wonder if any mechanic can be trusted. And if they even changed my oil now…

The dealership tried to get over on me, charging 30-40 for the part and 30 for the labor. Same for the engine filter and 25 for sea form(foam, whatever it’s called).

Hi these videos are still helping people. I just changed mine myself! By the way, my air flow was installed incorrectly. It was up! So even little things they got wrong in the past! Now going to do my own PVC valve. They asking 140 dollars. The part on Amazon is 10 bucks. They say it’s another maintenance item that we should do easily. Every 1,000 miles pvc?
