buying a 99$ fl version vs buying a 199$ fl version vs downloading cracked fl is a choice everyone comes across

my daw is the only thing i dont wanna crack cause if my fl studio is a little bit buggy or is missing a certain feature or anything, itll affect everything im doing so im only cracking vsts and effects plugins. and the best fl studio version to get is the one you can afford, if you get the $99 one the $199 one will be way cheaper since you got the first one so you dont need to rush into it getting the most expensive one, i was making beats on the trial for a while before i started spending money on it

Went from FL to Ableton and not looking back lol. End of the day, one of the best skills you can have is to be able to play an instrument, is what I'd also like to add, to newbie starters. People jump straight into their DAW and start a project, which for me is wrong. The most effective way, is to sit with an instrument and flesh out a melody, then take it to the recording stage. This is why you always hear of legendary artists/producers have ideas in their heads, then let that idea sit for a while with an instrument, before they even think of recording it.

This video was so down to earth and calm, I subbed simply for that. I'd also like to say this advice was great, I use to play piano and guitar but I've stopped them to focus on my job in Computer Science. But I still want to get back into music so this video was packed with great advice good job man. Keep up the RUclips videos and the advice you'll grow bigger soon you deserve it

for those choosing daws i have used abelton for a solid year as one of my first daws and abelton is more suited i would say too people looking into sound design electronic kinda stuff in the production side. Fl i think is a lil easier to get into and a bit more friendly at first but its all personal preference at the end of the day u can create banger music on any daw.

Quick question. Learn piano to what extent? Like learning how the chords work on the piano, playing chord progressions, and making and playing melodies on the piano? Or are you talking about actually learning the technique to playing, and learning how to actually play songs on the piano.

Use it while making music, every time.
I have a guitar background. I have never had a true piano lesson, BUT I’ve been on a one song a day kick for months and very slowly I have become more confident playing what I need to into my instrument.
