      Two of your videos convinced me to subscribe. I never wrote a single note until 3 days before my 60th. I’ve now been writing music for just under 3 years, written well over 100 songs, and my 7th album comes out in 4 days (yes, picked the same day as TS, but she won’t cut into my virtually zero sales😁). But I still have so, so, so much more to learn, and I look up to people like you. Been the most rewarding time of my life for something I love to do. And I thought I’d go through life without being really proud of anything I’ve done. I pinch myself every day. I love it.

    You provided a lot of information in this video ❤️
    I still remember 1 year ago when I opened fl studio and I was like what the heck is that cause it looks so complicated so I learned a little bit of basic then I started learning everything myself and then I use to find the basic information of a particular genre I wanna make and then I use to learn everything myself by experimenting other with other stuffs.Then I made friends in this music production and then whenever I was demotivated or I wanna quit it they helped me to comeback ❤️
    I find myself still a beginner but I m a expert for 1 years ago of myself
    So by listening my old tracks it always gives me a motivation that how you was then and how you r now 💥
    So everyday every moment I keep working and I never stopped music production ❤️

    Disagree completely on point 1. I have tried using other daws and they are entirely unintuitive in comparison. FL makes way more sense for workflow. This is probably because I'm used to FL, but having said that if I were to switch to a different daw I wouldn't know where to begin. I've tried multiple times, and it always ends in me going back to FL, because FL just does things in a way that makes sense. You got lost because FL doesn't have a great base for plugins and effects, I guarantee you. The only genre its base platform might be ok for is EDM, that's it. It's got a handful of good effects, and nothing but mediocrity in its base plugins. The only place FL lacks is in recording imo. I use Cubase for that.

      @illagevidiot8254 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@ronieldersampaio565 Stupid. I can record straight to a track in cubase with no bullshit, and if I delete it from the track it doesn't save it every time forcing me to take extra steps to get rid of each take.
      FL is bad for recording. Period. It's good for everything else.

    • @ronieldersampaio565
      @ronieldersampaio565 9 месяцев назад +3

      @@illagevidiot8254 Calm down man, audio recording is not FL Studio's strong point, however this has been improved in the most recent versions, 21 for example, but you can do the same in Edison, it's just a matter of practice and study and you will see that It's not as bad as you might think, I thought that too until I learned how to use it correctly.

    • @hellion_spitfire

      FL is a toy for kids. No one seriuous music producers use it. No one. You can't for a specific reason, because you must learn how to use it properly. There is the official manual, o a tons of video on YT. Excuses are pointless.

    I tried Logic (and used GarageBand a lot as a teen) and hated it, but Ableton really clicked with me (even though I mostly use it in timeline view). I started on instruments and theory long before trying to make my own tracks. I try to interleave covers between originals. I’ve tons of sketches with nothing finished, but my intention is to post them once I’m done with them. :)

      @DiplomChilla lol "cheap" is relative. I already have a very powerful tower pc, I can not justify buying yet another computer. I did the Mac thing once and just couldn't get on with it. Perhaps being raised on pc for the last 30 years has something to do with it....

    • @DiplomChilla
      @DiplomChilla 5 месяцев назад

      @reamur9257 i think in this case is cheap not relative. Here in Germany you get a used Mac Mini M1 for about 400 €. In comparison to an powerful pc is it really cheap an you can go ahead with logic. But i understand that you couldnt get one with the mac and that it make no sense to have both. I had a mac and pc and at the same time. I also struggled with mac and hated it to switch everythime the systems. thats why i also have a now just the pc instead of a mac although i also loved logic

      All of them are good including FL (works for so many big names, Avicii, Martin Garrix, Madeon, Porter Robinson, Afrojack). It just has a steeper learning curve, but is extremely powerful after that, and is quite different from most other DAWs.
      Just try them all and pick what works for you. The key is once you have picked the one you like just stick with it for a good while atleast 90% of the time (some experimentation from time to time with other daws is good). Don't switch if it lacks some small feature and you don't yet really need, as the key is to learn how to process audio and not how to just work with the software, and all of them are capable of doing that. Switching at a later point in your journey after you know all the fundamentals is much easier, and at that point you will most likely have a very specific reason for doing so (like live performance features, or vocal pitch correction features, for example, depending on what you do most). And keep in mind that all of them are constantly being updated, and so by the time you need something, your DAW of choice will most likely have it in the future.
      Just stick to what workflow you like currently, and what inspires you. Things like how it looks are also important for this, as you are more likely to create. And everyone's brain works a bit different so what someone likes may not click with another person.
      Ableton is an amazing DAW, and works for so many people (for example Skrillex), and is never going to be a limitation at all. Just take the time to learn each of its devices one at a time slowly over time, and its workflow, and you will be fine. If you aren't satisfied after putting in a decent amount of time, try another one. You will never be satisfied 100% with any of them, as each has its strengths and weaknesses, and if you always switch, you will just keep endlessly switching and not make any progress.
