South Florida fly fisher headed for LI in July and looking forward to some fishing there. I've never fished saltwater outside of Florida, so it should be interesting. I plan to tie up some of those flies you used here. Also, I was told by a casting instructor that his reason for reeling with his casting hand is so the line cannot get caught on the reel handle when released after hauling.
hey i live on the south shore of eastern long island as well started off surfcasting but getting more into fly fishing off my flats boat. i was curious what weight fly rod you are using for this application ill be doing basically the exact same thing your doing in this video for the same size fish. I currently have a softer 8wt but was thinking of getting a faster 7wt for this specific application.
This is so cool, cant wait to get this dialed in!
Great job guys!
Thanks Sergio. Big fans of your stuff too!!
Great job. Looking forward to the winter sessions.
Thanks Peter!

We are generally using 7-9 weight rods for the flats. 9-10 for albies and bigger bass out in the open water. Tight lines bud!
Wanted to like the video so bad but u killed it by supporting the Covid narrative.... things the biggest joke since the house plant got in office
