Tom, as usual, provides great advice in an easily understandable presentation. Love watching his videos.

Great information and great video. I really enjoyed this. You should do a dedicated in depth video of each type / method of fishing in greater detail. Good stuff! Keep the videos coming!

I’d love to catch a striper on the fly one day! Great video 🎣👌

Soooo informative thank you, was interesting to see the similarity’s with our UK European sea bass, not as big as you guys !! But still so much fun in my learning quest.
Been spinning for bass a few years now, but I’m extending my quest into fly fishing for them this year. Soooo looking forward to it 😎😎😍🇬🇧

This was a great video; I’ve fished for them in the salt, both in NY and San Francisco. I’m looking forward to flyfishing for Stripers in lakes. I live in AZ and we have some awesome Striper lakes here, just never tried lakes with flies for Striper.

I caught my first striper yesterday, just a schoolie but I am pretty excited to get into a bigger one. Thanks for the video

Amazing video, I believe this information can be applicable to sea bass fishing in the Atlantic coast in Europe, so I really enjojed the tutorial. Sea bass are also aggressive predators that prey on baitfish, eels and so on. They also love estuaries and get ahead into big rivers. Especially fun to catch with floating lures, I'm really determined to start fishing them on the fly too! The only thing is that normally they are best fished when it's rainy and windy and the sea is foamy and grey, so they hunt for they preys. Not the best conditions to cast the line and big flies with wind into your face! Best.

So if I’m mostly fishing from shore does that mean I should have a floating line?

Can I handle one on a 5 wt. with a heavier leader? I now have the opportunity to go after them on Lake Lanier.

That’s a cuddlefish, not a squid. Great video otherwise
