I learned how to fly fish throwing streamers and poppers for smallmouth in a local stream, it’s still probably my favorite way to fish for them

YOU ARE MY INSPIRATION GENTLEMEN! You guys are the reason I shoot my series, my short films, pursue the craft of fly fishing, and also wrote my books. So glad to see the Orvis Guide show continue what the NFF started! Thanks, and tight lines!

Great job with the video, gentlemen! I really appreciate the clear yet thorough explanation on every single aspect of the fly fishing. The pacing is also perfect for a non-native English speaker like me.
Though we don't have bass here in our tropical rivers and lakes, but I'm sure that the tips and tactics would work really well with a little modification to match the species we have.

Thank you sir for all the great videos adn tips. I really learned a lot from you. Could you please let me know what size flies I need to purchase for largemouth bass? I purchased a 9 ft 8wt Orvis outfit and now I want to have a good package of flies that goes with it. I would really appreciate it if you could put something togther as a package and I will buy it... Thanks

If I wont to use topwater and sub surface flies should I use floating or intermediate line?

12 pounds is more than enough for Bass fishing in heavy cover.
